thanks alooooooooot.... i'll download it now hope it works

Error no free slots ... :S

Hi Maryland...
Before everyone asks, can you clarify whether or not this is compatible (ie 3G, etc..) with the X10a? I know there will be people asking multiple times, so rather than look later, I might as well save everyone some time.
Or, is it still recommended to wait for an official X10a firmware version of 2.1?
Thanks in advance for your help/advice and great job to everyone on XDA that is staying on top of things. Much appreciated.

UPDATE
Right, since this post is luckily quite visible on the first page, thought I should put down some impressions/info.
FLASHING: it's quite simple, follow the instructions in the first post, including the optional part at the bottom if you're having trouble. I did it on a laptop with XP Pro SP3 32-bit (with jre6u19 I think).
Worth mentioning: at some stage the batch file will come up with "Finish" - it is NOT DONE!! It might take another few minutes, it's only done when it says "Press any key to continue..." , WAIT UNTIL IT DOES SO then press Enter as instructed.
ROOTING: When you root it, you will most likely find that you have to untick/tick USB debugging on the phone a few times to get it working. I used this, only needed SuperOneClickv1.5.1-ShortFuse.zip .
IMPRESSIONS: it is a bit slow at first, but it gets better after half an hour or so. Battery life seems to have improved a LOT, although this can easily be a subjective impression. It's very "swish and pretty". And best of all, Angry Birds works! What more could you want?
OTHERS:
Barnacle worked straight away for me (without having to put in athwlan0), Titanium Backup worked after installing its version of BusyBox.
APPS YOU COULD REMOVE
jerpelea made an easy-ish to use command list for this. Thank him for all his work, or else!
WARNING: you might want to move apps into a Temp/ folder inside /system/app/ just in case instead of removing them completely.. Apps I removed (and everything seems fine), will try to remove others at some stage:
SEMCSetupWizard.apk
playnowback.apk
playnowclient.apk
moxiermail.apk
playnowappinstaller.apk
SEMCTouchPalKoreanQWERTY.apk
PcCompanion.apk (this might be needed, but so far it looks ok)
quadrapop.apk
wisepilot.apk
creatouch.apk

I have a uk customized fw. Can I use this to flash to global then upgrade to 2.1
Sent from my X10i using XDA App

EDIT: If you encounter the same issue, just remove the x86_64 Java Runtime from your computer and install get the 32bit Runtime in case you don't have it.
Doesn't work here.
Code:

btw, I just downloaded the thing, and executed the bat file, of course i use a x64 Windows 7, and both the 32bit and 64bit path fails with this UnsatisfiedLinkError.

Two questions

2) Can I able to go back to my country firm ware when its released?

Thank you so much.Been waiting for this all day Thanks to the member who supply the blob_fs to make it happen too.

Yeah would also like to kniw if i flash this on top of Nordic 2.1
Would it delete settings apps etc etc
And is it even worth flashing over the top?

Generic Global vs Generic NCB

If i'm right now in 1.6 (x10a) can i directly flash my phone to 2.1 with thoses files or do I have to do something else ?
( Because i don't understand why old 1.6 Firmware can not be flashed with this at the moment since you had to be in 1.6 to go to 2.1 )

You cannot flash 1.6 FW with this tool, but you can flash 2.1 FW to a 1.6 device.

Customized 1.72.187 Extended ROM (No Blackberry)

I have received requests to customize the 1.72.187 UK ROM for Asian users. As requested, here it is.
This extended ROM is based on the latest UK release of 1.72.187, and was customized for asian users of the XDA II.
All the latest versions of the software in the base ROM are included, minus all O2 UK custom settings and software, however all configuration settings are set to the old Asian extended ROM version 1.60.44.
I also added the latest drivers/software for the Socket Communications SDIO Wifi card and the XDA II Thumb Keyboard which automatically install as a part of the post install tasks.
I had to remove the Java MIDlet Manager included in the base ROM since the size limit of the extended ROM was exceeded, and I also removed the O2 Active UI since it is customized for O2 UK users. I included the installer .CAB file for the MIDlet Manager in the .ZIP file so that it can be installed manually after the ROM upgrade if desired.
CHANGES from the other custom ROM (1.72.181):
1. Based on the UK ROM version 1.72.187
2. No Blackberry support
3. Added the ClearType font fix from ROM version 1.60.44
4. Added the Extended ROM Viewer patch (Extended ROM can now be seen in File Explorer)
I have already tested it on my Xda II and I had no problems with flashing it and I am currently experiencing no issues with it whatsoever.
THe download is available further down in this thread, I removed the old download because it was corrupted.

Would you consider to put in the SRS rotation and key as well?
Also, can you provide a brief guide for how to install the file?
The files you attached is just the nbf file. Also, what's the use for the password?
Thanks again.

When the SRS backporting to the Xda II is at its most stable stage, I will include it in the extended ROM, as of now I feel its still unstable, although I feel that the guys working on it are doing an excellent job (my personal opinion).
To use the file is just 3 steps:
1. Extract the contents of the original UK ROM update (Xda_II_172187_Final.exe) into any directory of your choice with WinZip.
2. Extract the ms_.nbf from the custom ROM I posted into the same directory that you extracted the files from step 1, overwriting the original ms_.nbf.
3. Run the HimaUpgradeUt.exe executable to flash your device.
The password is for users whou would like to further customize the ROM where openning it up requires a password. I only posted the extended ROM since it was the only part of the original ROM that was customized, and posting the entire ROM would just result in a larger download.
Many thanks.
Understood now.
Tried the ROM but have problem with my C-guys wifi card....
Not sure whether it is the wlan software has some conflicts with the C-guys driver, have uninstalled the wlan software and will try the C-guys card again.
where can find the ROM?
Hi,
I tried to register, but the "Confirmation code: picture" appears as RED X.
Can someone show me where can I get this ROM without registering to this forum?

HTC Touch Pro Stock ROM Dump (Multilingual/Arabic Supported)

Hey guys,
I extracted my ROM and was wondering if anyone here was interested in obtaining it. I bet some people need this, so enjoy Next step when i have a bit of time and some concentration, is to learn cooking
I did a dump of my HTC Touch Pro Stock ROM which has the latest ROM Update that HTC Has Released Recently for the Middle East.
Took the RUU_signed from this latest HTC ROM Update: _HTC Touch_Pro_RUU_Raphael_HTC_ARA_2.01.415.3_Radio_Signed_Raphael_52.58.25.30_1.11.25.01_Ship.exe
Information about this stock ROM:
Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional
CE OS 5.2.19965 (Build 19965.1.2.3)
Multilingual Support Installed. If you flash this your ROM interface will be in Arabic, you can of course manually change the options to make the interface in English but keep Arabic language support on (Reading/Writing) and you can even disable the multilingual altogether.
Uses (MOBiDIV Multilingual Support Version 3.0 Build 416 Gardenia Package Number: 32)
ROM Version: 2.01.415.3 WWE
ROM Date: 02.23.09
Radio Version: 1.11.25.01
Protocol Version: 52.58.25.30U
ExtPkg Version: 2.1.415.2
Before i post the files , i need to ask the experts which files are safe for me to post here. As in, are there any precautions i have to take i means of a certain ROM has an internal serial/activation on a certain software which may cause problems if i share them? Yes, am totally a noob in flashing WinMo phones, we all start somewhere
The stuff i have are as follows:
Part00.raw
Part01.raw
Part02.raw
Part03.raw
Part00.raw
The below are two ROMs since i created the RUU_Signed.nbh using two methods, after checking their hash, they had different ones, so i publish both :
Using instructions from Here - (Using e,b,space,c,a in RaphaelKitchen.CMD)
Result: RUU_Signed.nbh MD5 Hash: 512ea7b4435b923a3cd6a687eec79dcd
Thanks to jcespi2005
Using instructions from Here - (Using e,b,space,c,b in RaphaelKitchen.CMD)
Result: RUU_Signed.nbh MD5 Hash: 6958d00c322a91b4d679509ae4a9a02f
Thanks to Angelusz
ROM Dump Experts, please inform me which files should i publish. (Again i am asking this in case there is some kind of serial numbers/activation codes...etc). I might at any time switch back to this Stock ROM and would like to have stuff work normally
Now, I'll go ahead with HardSPL and try some cooked ROMs from the lovely chefs here in xda ( Soon, I'll join the kitchen ), any suggestion of a Cooked ROM to try out?
Wont ask what is the best ROM since there is no such thing. Basically, what am looking for is the following:
A ROM with the latest updates and Manila installed
A ROM which would allow me to read/write Arabic after i install some cabs i have my hands on right now
Lots of nice tools and programs that most probably we all use
And of course, something better than this junk slow Stock ROM (Speed / Stability)
Any Suggestions? Am considering: PROven ROM WWE 3.1 21042 out of a fast search on XDA.
Thanks to everyone in the community for making XDA such a wonderful knowledge base for all of us to learn from.
Reserved (Just in case )
Dear Amnya,
did you buy your phone from UAE? if yes, you don't have to go through this hassle. Just use your S/N on HTC site and get the latest ROM. I'm from Egypt, I have the Egypt Arabic ROM which is a Fiasco as the GPS is disabled. I've been waiting for you for a loooonnnngggg time
By the way, about a nice fast ROm, consider also NRGZ28's Energie ROM ver. 2.0 32609. It is great and Arabic works flawlessly.

Hey mate, am glad you found me then Now regarding the phone, yes i got it from the UAE and it had no Arabic Letters Imprinted on the Keyboard (Which is GREAT).
As for your comment marked in red above, i know this, and i actually flashed my mob with that official stock ROM, the point is that i DO NOT want to stay on this stock rom and want to try using Cooked ROMs and maybe even start cooking my own ROMs for this great community.
But before flashing, i thought I'd better backup my current ROM just in case HTC releases an official windows 6.5 upgrade for free or something, or in case my phone dies and i would need to place things back to factory defaults/updates.
You mentioned that you are using "...the Egypt Arabic ROM which is a Fiasco as the GPS is disabled..." i did not quit understand what you meant there. Why is the GPS disabled? :S Is Fiasco a Cooked ROM that doesn't support GPS?
Cheers, and PS: I am still waiting for experts to assure me on what to exactly upload. Cheers

Thank you for your recommendation, checked the ROM details, and i pretty like what i see and since you say that it works with Arabic flawlessly, it makes me love it more Lets see what that Ferrari has to offer
Would you recommend that Microsoft Voice Commander or the standard one? :S What does that MSVC actually differ? i never used this MSVC.
Cheers
GPS is banned in Egypt, therefore the HTC original ROM for Egypt is without GPS drivers.
can you by any chance post the HTC ROM you flashed?
MSVC stands for MicroSoft Voice Command. It simply does what it says, commanding the phone by voice, never tried it and couldn't care less. I would recommend the other one: CSVD
You will like the Ferrari, it is great.

I would i just need to understand if i face any OEM/Licencing or anything of that sort if i do publish it. And a small question, wouldn't it help you if i upload or link you to the update that HTC released recently?
And btw, the flash i dumped is an NBH file, how can i create an executable so i only double click when i need to install it?
I do understand that to flash the nbh file i will use the kitchen tools and cab files, but wouldn't it be best if its a simply executable?
If anyone knows about this thing i would appreciate it
Cheers
If you have the latest Raphael Kitchen then in the tools folder you will find an exec file called RaphaelCustomRUU.exe.
Put this in the same folder as your nbh file and run it. Follow the instructions.
This will put the rom on your device.

Thanks for the valuable info But i was asking on how to create an executable. Not important
Now lets focus on the main stuff Which files should i upload here? in means of my own safety of loosing valuable serials/activations pre-built in the ROM and stuff like that? Or is that irrelevant in WinMo?

Read this especially points 6 and 7
http://forum.xda-developers.com/announcement.php?f=440
Serials and activations are only there if you put them there. If you can't remove them then don't include these particular programs. If you look in the SYS or OEM parts of the rom in the kitchen you will see most programs used and if you know what you are doing you can edit or remove them.

I did not understand the reason for you pointing out i read those two points :S Who said i want to post wares? I was asking about something else. i have a Stock ROM after a hard reset, i did the Flash Dump and got the original ROM off of the phone, then created the new ROM file using those files i extracted from my phone in addition to the RUU file from an HTC ROM.
That produced a file, i am asking, is it safe to upload that file for the public to benefit from? OR would it harm me somehow, one way or another? For example, in the stock rom the Multilingual support by Mobidiv is installed and it never asks for any activation, which from my understanding means that it comes registered with the phone or with the rom, something like that. Now wouldn't me posting that dump here bad for me mobidiv and so on? Or its a safe thing to do?
Thank you

As I understand it CIT MOBIdiv have an agreement with HTC so that for this program you are probably ok to include it. Google Mobidiv and see what is said.
The reason I gave you that reference is that I didn't know which programs you were refering to and if they had been paid for seperately from your phone and therefore would be ware.

Amnya, you can direct me to the link of HTC but to download it I need your S/N on the back of the phone behind the battery (unless you already uploaded it somewhere and have the link). If you don't feel confortable to give the S/N away for any reason, please upload the original ROM. Almost all original ROMs from HTC are here somewhere or another in every forum (links of course) without the slightest problem (legally I mean). And there will be no issues also regarding software copyrights.
Glad that you liked the Energie ROM, enjoy....

Hey mate, will post you the link to the document later on tonight, currently i am at work One problem though, Arabic is NOT supported, so what should i install to make it support reading and writing arabic? Actually am only interested in reading
Can someone post a link to the needed software or update? I tried the ARA_Patch.cab that HTC released then drew back after the latest ROM Update, but it did nothing. So any ideas?
Cheers
My answer to your problem
http://www.4shared.com/dir/18171659/bed506eb/Arabic.html
use these files as follows:
- Copy the files in Arabic folder to your phone any where
- Install each file in main memory in the same sequence as numbered
- Do not restart when any one of the files installing prompts you to do so
- Only restart when finishing the last install
- Thank me plenty

[2009/11/16] How to fix EzInput 2.1 My Words list - working OEM IME Engine package

SOLVED: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=6892232&postcount=47
old post...
2009/11/16 solved with previous version of IME_Engine_Western
working oem packages
original post:
==================================
Hi,
I have an issue with EzInput 2.1 - it doesn't save users custom words.
First of all I searched this forum, I used google, and all I found - just some users complain and confirm this bug.
I dumped ROM from russian HTC Mega, compared its conents with my Iolite ROM and there is how to fix first part of this bug:
Add this lines to your initflashfiles.dat
Directory("\Windows"):-Directory("ET9IMEDB")
Directory("\Windows\ET9IMEDB"):-File("eT9AsDb.Adb","\Windows\eT9AsDb.Adb")
Directory("\Windows\ET9IMEDB"):-File("eT9Rudb.Rdb","\Windows\eT9Rudb.Rdb")
After this fix EzInput 2.1 will save and use new words that you type, see attached screenshots.
On the first screenshot you can see how EzInput suggest "mynewword" exactly after I just typed this (I used this strange word just as an example).
On the second screenshot you can see XT9 My Words program (eT9MyWords.exe in your Windows directory) with this new word.
Now I have second part of this bug - this list is empty after reboot, all custom words are gone.
I don't think this is a new feature, it's a bug.
If you know how to fix this, help me please.
I use
IME_Engine_Western_2_1_19191429_00
IME_EzInput_Western_2_1_19183030_00
I have two versions of this packages - one from WWE Mega ROM and second I dumped from Russian Mega ROM 1.28
I get this bug with any of these versions.
I checked this under
WM6.1 build 21055
WM6.5 build 21854 (from official Mega Russian ROM)
I get this bug with any of these versions.
To reproduce this bug:
1. You must have EzInput 2.1 (EzInput 1.5 doesn't have this bug)
2. Open your text editor (for example Word)
3. Type "mynewword". New line.
4. Start typing "mynew..." - EzInput should suggest you your new word (see screenshot). If it doesn't - you can fix this as I write above
(create ET9IMEDB folder in Windows, copy eT9AsDb.Adb and eT9Rudb.Rdb to this folder, reboot)
5. open eT9MyWords.exe from Windows folder - you should see new word in a list.
6. reboot your device - open eT9MyWords.exe from Windows folder, there are 0 words, list is empty.
I cannot check this on Mega ROM as it is as I don't have this device.
Maybe this bug is made by me during porting...
Maybe this depends on boot sequence?...
I tried to copy these files after I added words,
\Windows\ET9IMEDB\eT9AsDb.Adb
\Windows\ET9IMEDB\eT9Rudb.Rdb
I see how date of file is changed and I wanted to compare it's by content after reboot, but files are always locked. Is there a way to find out who is locking these files?
Help me if you can.
I also want to know if someone has same bug.
there are some links to user posts with the same problem:
"With SMS ( texto in France) I am not able to creat my own words,
( when I add a new word, It says ok, but this new word is NOT added to 'personal dictionary' )"
"after adding a custom word in t9 that it does not save the password previously entered after a reboot!"
"the t9/Xt9 DOESN'T LEARN new words."
"It' great but there's no way to add customized words"
I've the same bug !
Help plz ....
I just made new test -
I removed this files
eT9AsDb.Adb
eT9Rudb.Rdb
from my ROM
flashed new ROM.
EzEnput doesn't save new words.
I created folder
\Windows\ET9IMEDB\
copied these two files to this folder
reset device
EzEnput saves words, words are in the list, but
...
words disappears after soft reset...
EzEnput obviously uses
\Windows\ET9IMEDB\eT9AsDb.Adb
\Windows\ET9IMEDB\eT9Rudb.Rdb
but something wrong with saving or loading...
What do you think?
I've got exactly the same problem. I now have a ROM which standard has the 'ET9IMEDB' folder, and now it remembers my words now, even after soft reset. I don't know what causes your problem, I just wanted to let you know that I have the same problem on many ROMS.

Possible that the files or folder or files and folder is READ ONLY ?

No, in my last test, when I copied files after I flashed my device, I removed read-only attributes.
I can see in total commander how file date changes, but it still forgets everything after reset.

Can you please give me a link to your ROM?
I want to contact a person who solved this bug =)
I am using Duttys HD WM6.5 Leo R7 right now, and 'Add Words' works fine. Link to the ROM is http://htcpedia.com/forum/showthread.php?t=304 .
I hope you will figure this out, because I prefer Miri's rom but unfortunately that ROM does have the 'Add Words' problem.
Thanks!
One more test - I build new ROM and replaced
IME_Engine_Western_2_1_19191429_00
with
IME_Engine_Western_1_5_33136_0
This combination
IME_EzInput_Western_2_1_19183030_00
IME_Engine_Western_1_5_33136_0
works fine, it saves all new words, My Words editor works, I can reset my device and all words will be saved.
But in this case GUI is mixed from different versions:
I have all new cool keyboard and old style black pop-ups for suggested words...
It's better than nothing, but I will search more. =)
Maybe someone knows what's the difference between IME_Engine 1.5 and 2.1?
Maybe new engine depends on some new components?
By the way IME Engine 1.5 creates new files
eT9AsDb.Adb
eT9Rudb.Rdb
in my Windows folder, and this files are not included in my ROM.
And I can copy these files, files are not locked by another process.
How to find out which process is locking files when IME Engine 2.1 is used?
the only difference after having decompiled ezinput ENGINE 2.0 and 2.1 is that in 2.1 the dll "checkIme.ddl, eT9Dictionary.dll, eT9DisInput.dll, eT9ime.dll and eT9RegInput.dll are in a separate directory while not in 2.0.

Can you please post screenshot, or just tell me how it looks on your device:
Does it look like this (Engine 2.1) or like this (Engine 1.5)?
The difference is how word suggestion looks - green selection and floating window (2.1), black string docked to keyboard (1.5).
the look is the look of 1.5 if you use... but on the 2.1 package the dll is in a folder separeted and in folder the dll is with "imageinfo.bin, imageinfo.txt, s000, s001, s002, s003, s004, s005, s006
i use Ervius Visual Kitchen for decompilate ROM...

I want to see screenshot of this dutty rom R15 working with EzInput.
And if you know that some version works and other version doesn't, can you please post links, because there are many versions of rips from different devices made by different peoples.
If we want to solve this bug let's keep information clean.
=)
I use the version with the green bars; ExInput 2.1!
In dutty Rom R15 : Ezinput : 2.1 (build 1919.3421) Work well ....

Hey, it's me ! So there's almost ONE kind person who reads my posts !
Anyway, i have this problem with 1.5 Ezinput version.
I have a TIR V8k ITalian Win Mobile 6.1 Rom (quite old, to be honest)
Still haven't figured out what the problem is.
Can i help you in some way ? And, in opposite, can you help me ?
Thanks for the efforts !
TheMac
I installed new ROM based on WM65 and ported from HTC Mega and the same packages now work. So the problem is not in EzInput or IME Engine.
It's obviously some external dependencies or settings.
I want to find out what EzInput 2.1 depends on.

My "stock" 2.3.5 Rom (perfect? For me, it is :D)

Hey People,
just wanted to share my Configuration of the new XWKS9 Firmware. Android 2.3.5 and Baseband KS2 ! Download it from here.
All Credits, of course, for the following go to their respective Authors/Devs !!
Please take care of the Information and be careful while flashing !
My Problem with the FW was first that it didn´t start correctly after flashing. Solution : Hold Power + Home till you get into Recovery, then Wipe everything, reboot, it will work
Once you got booted up, Power off and go into Recovery again, then flash the CF Root Adaption from here here make sure that you download the
CF-Root-S5830-v3.7-b82.zip (11.95 MB)
After flash, you have the KS9 Firmware rooted and some bonus :-D
Many thanks to ketut.kumajaya for this !!!
The Language in the Rom is Dutch first. You need to go to
"Instellingen" then "Landinstelling en tekst" then "Taal selecteren" and then choose your Language.
To get Access to the System Folder of your Phone, use ES File Explorer from the Market. (Switch to "Root Explorer" and Mount System "RW" in Settings")
Now delete the Samsung Stuff you don´t want, or need. But be careful, some .apk are very essentiel and deleting them may brick your FW so you have to reflash !
A list of Files that can be deleted will follow here ! (.apk & .odex)
- Clockwidget - Deskclock - Dualclock - Forest - GenieWidget - jobmanager - Marketupdater - MyFiles - Protipps - Samsungapps - SamsungAppsUna3 - SamsungWidget_ProgramMonitor - SamsungWidget_Stockclock -Swype - syncmldm - thinkdroid
These are the Apps I don´t use, delete with caution !
Just make a Backup in Recovery (that came with the CF Root Adaption ) before you delete files, so you can easily restore your Rom !!
Browsing in XDA-Forums I found this :
The Gingerbread Keyboard, installable File from here
Thanks to hotaru for this !!!
The Stock Launcher (Touchwiz) isn´t very nice I think, my choice was GO Launcher EX from the market, you can customize so many things with it!
But I also found a nice Launcher here many thanks to claystoneinc for this !
If you don´t like the Facebook Widgets you may try this from Kamma, many thanks to him for that !! There is another one I found but havn´t tested, Screenshots do look promising ! Get it from here Thanks to ericcsonka
I am going to upload a little Collection of very useful Tools I found here in the Forum and in different Roms I used. Don´t Panic, it´s all freeware, all Files are also available trough the normal Market or from XDA Forums! If there is anything that isn´t correct please let me know !!!
I hope that this helped a little, yes I know, noone asked for it
Update : Here are the Tools Tools
I was looking to do this too. Most of the steps seems to make sense to me. Especially the list of apps to delete is useful.
One question though: Why would you install the Gingerbread keyboard seperately?
KS9 is Gingerbread right?

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=917594 common tutorials (including video) are in the first post - for WM and WP they are the same.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1330850 - some video in the first post.
And - read the whole OsBuilder threads (both)
Thanks.
I have a few of questions. I have modified my first ever rom. Am so proud of myself.
Anyway, where in the registry do I select UK keyboard as default keyboard layout on first boot? At the moment it always defaults to US keyboard layout.
Where in registry do I choose UK language as default language and region upon first boot? I have chosen 0409 as default but it keeps using US region upon first boot.
Finally how do I stop preinstalled oem apps from reinstalling themselves after a reboot even though I uninstall them? I presume this is a registry tweak too. Many thanks.

Dump European stock 2.05 and take Language boot ID package from it (0809 default) or at least - have a look at the rgu file of it.

Dump another source rom. What did you expect dumping rom containing this bug? And - no - it's not a registry tweak! Sorrowfully.
So as you see - all answers to your questions are "dump proper source".
Normally you should dump stocks and create your kitchen. Than you develop the kitchen by adding unlocks and other goodies. Dumping someone's custom is a good step to start but later on - it's a dead end. You will continue to get bugs from other chiefs without having a possibility to find and fix them.
Thanks for the advice. Greatly appreciated. Yes I have modified an exisiting custom rom. It is a start anyway as I have never modified a rom before using the osbuilder. One day I will do it from scratch as you suggest . Thanks!
Can someone who is using en-GB (not US language/layout) as default language AND as keyboard layout and region please check in your registry and tell me what the data field for APC should be:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\International]
"LCID"=dword:809
"ACP"=dword:???
Many thanks!

You just cooked a bad rom That's the problem.
Continue trying. No one can tell why you got cyclic reboot. It's too common.

I am not using UK en (sorry for that) but:
Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\International]
"LCID"=dword:809

Thanks. I recooked my first Radar rom and posted in the radar forum. I used the OSBuilder program. Was easy to use. Other wannabe chefs try it. Dont be scared
I Dump Nextgen 3.2 ROM for test
I Just Change the about page settings (EX name , Tel ) and rebuild ROM .
But still it reboots in HTC Logo
i didn'nt change any setting or folder but it reboots .
Any Solution ?
maybe its wrong radio?
tboy2000, it's absolutely useless to give any suggestions to the guy - we don't know even his device. According to his "Nextgen" - he is trying to cook for first gen device. That means - it has nothing to do with radio. First gen device roms are not dependable upon radio version.
His cyclic reboot on HTC logo can mean everything - beginning from non-booting XIP and finishing mistakes in OEM part. The only solution for him - continue trying. And playing with settings of OsBuilder. As I already told - dumping customs - absolutely wrong way.
The source of XIP, SLDR and OEM must be STOCK rom!
I dont know Which Setting ?
Which Setting in OS Builder ?
1. How can i upgrade wp build from 8773 to 8779 ? where should i copy update files ?
2. Where is Full Unlock Files in Nextgen 3.2 or Deepshining ? whats name ?
3. How should i full unlock Xbox games ?

Inside Your ROM to insert (in OEM and XIP) packages with full Unlock from Ultrashot (including corresponding to utility and editing the reg).

В данном случае гугел-транслятор просто не работает. Нельзя экстраполировать напрямую русское построение предложений - смысл теряется конкретно
Google is not good to translate the sentences - it works for words - maximum for expressions. Otherwise you get no sense.
To fran_1970
The best way - to write a PM to ultrashot asking him to give you unlock packages set. One package should be placed in XIP, other packages to EXT or OEM or wherever.
How can I go about making my ROM updatable?
