Update!
11-11-2010: Phone is sold! not gonna update this theme in the future!
11-11-2010: Only for x10 mini pro! (ROOTED)

It is for Android 2.1 only I think.
Secondly, is it tested to work on Mini too ?

are you sure i can just use Root Explorer to replace the old framework?
won't the screen go black then you won't be able to set permissions properly?
i've done the ADB route before, but using Root explorer is so much easier.
tho i haven't tried it when replacing system files...
can you confirm just using Root Explorer for this?

well what i did was: went to system/framework and edited the framework-res permissions .. just checked all of them
then i copied the file from here into my sdcard, moved it using root explorer to system/framework, and it tells u "do u want to replace" click yes/ok and it will replace and u should click on/off button and it will reboot! if u get "u do not have permisions" just check "remount R/o or Remount r/w" then move it, it should work.

i went the ADB route again...
safer for me...and here are my screenshots!
sad that you wont be developing it anymore tho...
but thanks for this!

my phone never ever looked boring

notification font should have been replaced, it is difficult to read notifications in the drop-down. Otherwise a nice replacement.

I've spend hours attempting this but... the XML is compiled if I extract stuff with NinjaMorph. So I thought of making the background on the content part white like in the Gingerbread theme... but then I the APKManager gave me a lot of errors during the compilation. Then I tried the APKTools method... and it was too complicated for me to continue. So unfortunately I'm too incompetent to make this theme work for my phone
The black text on dark background is a huge usability block. I don't really mind that the theme isn't completely finished, but if only that notification part could be fixed I will be able to use this theme (which matches the rest of the theme of my phone).
I think the corresponding files are status_bar_item_app_background_normal.9.png and/or status_bar_item_background_normal.9.png.
If anyone is able to recompile this apk with the stock version of those pngs (or the Gingerbread one), it would be so awesome.

Hi! This theme is amazing but have a x10 mini. Can you make some changes in the framework to work on my phone? Thanks

stupid question, maybe. but i wanne know, wich widget do u use for the weather and wich launcher u have ;>

Read the description!!
He sold his phone and not gonna update this theme.

is this theme for 2.0.2.A.0.24 or 2.1.1.A.0.6?

I hope somone will fix the thing with the statusbar.. I will check a guide on how to edit 9.png and check..

[APK] Nexus S Live Wallpaper

This is the 2.2 Nexus LWP with the background swapped out for the one from the Nexus S dump, not the nice imitation by the3dman that fooled everyone around the net .
Created an .apk version. Install like a normal .apk file.
Update: Created an apk from the official port. See here
You beat me to it lol. Thanks for the post.
Did not work, flashed with cwr and running 2.1 rooted... It deleted old nexus live wall paper but is no where to be found...
Didn't work for me either. I didn't delete anything and flashed with cw. Mostly stock rooted 2.1

Yes, this should be an easy method if your phone is deodexed and has the Nexus LWP.
Download the pyramid_background from Nexus S, here , and save it somewhere on your phone.
-Install ninjamorph from the market
-go to /system/app/LiveWallpapers.apk .
-Replace pyramid_background.png in /drawable-hdpi with the new wallpaper.
-Finish Project
-Select Nexus LWP from Wallpaper Menu

Find LiveWallpapers.apk from your phone's board and push it back.
An even more simple way to do this mod is to download NexusKang and set the pyramid_background.png as a customer background.

Ok. The prob with 2.1's livewallpapers.apk is that it wouldn't take a replacement with a different resolution, so the wallpaper had to be resized and cropped to work.
Clockwork flashable. For Odexed & 2.1 . Make a backup of LiveWallpapers.apk and LiveWallpapers.odex in /system/app before flashing.
Running on my 2.1 Vibrant

Maybe you can post the fonts too.

well, as much as I want to share them, i cant unfortunately, its paid for font you see.. but ill try to find something similar and attach it to the post
I see. The theme looks great even without the fonts in the screenshots.
And if you post some similar font it would be great and I thank you in advance.

Great Job Manny! You should take a look at the "mobile data disabled" icon. Other than that it is perfect. You have change the "blink" sounds, too, right?
EDIT: Scratch that. First of all, I don't think any sounds are included in framework apk (how did I think that?) and secondly, I flashed a new rom yesterday and didn't change the default notification. Nah, a lof of hours over the phone cause these side effects

Do note that this has not been tested with the mini , only mini pro

I really like this dialer its simple and has the contacts and calls dialer in one app. My problem is maybe this is different on the PRO versus the mini. I dont have Phone.apk or Contacts.apk in system apps i have semcphone.apk and semccontacts.apk. Would i put these files in system apps then rename them to "semcphone"?

[Request]Original Xperia Arc Keyboard (2.3.4 .42) Themed to black.[Solved!]

Would anyone please theme the original Xperia Arc keyboard to black?
I really like this keyboard..but I would love to have it in black.
Hope anyone would help.
Thanks to anyone willing to help.
I'd say, just wait a month for the Xperia S The keyboard there is themed in black, and will probably be backported very fast once the software gets out in the wild.
Back when I was working on the X10, I had made this ROM which includes a themed black keyboard extracted from the Arc 2.3.4 firmware. You can download the ROM and get it from the zip. I would do it for you but I'm not on my PC right now.

Just read my post above (post #5)
thanks for the help but.....
I tried the file in the Rom. Didnt work for me. The keyboard changed, but not to black
I moved it over, set permissions, moved to system/apps and the keyboard I got seemed to be an earlier android stock one.
My phone is a sim unlocked arc s, rooted using installer from this board.
Any further help or suggestions?
Thanks for your patience.

Hey! Just tried with one of kormatoes keyboard mod, and it works perfectly. You have to bring the textinput-tng.apk from the folder system/app and paste it in you phone's system/app folder, changing the permissions of the apk to rw-r-r! Then just reboot your phone...tried just now to check and everything works.
