Anyone have the wifi calling file t mobile sent? Lost it after root and rom. Thanks

Try flashing the zip from the last post in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=900964.

[Q] ED01 community rom v1.2 help: not getting texts

I just upgraded from my old Droid Eris to a new fascinate last friday and I've been messing around with it trying out different ROMs and such and i decided to install the ED01 v1.2 rom today. I was enjoying it until i found out that i couldn't recieve texts and when i sent them all it would send was a blank text...
I've since reverted back to stock and I was wondering if anyone could help me out because I was really enjoying the rom until i realized I wasnt getting texts.
What modem did you flash when you were running UKB 1.2?
*You should be running the EC01 or the ED01 modem. You can find the ODIN file for EC01 modem in the forums. Sadly, in order to have the ED01 radio, you need to go through Adrynalyne's process of retrieving it (which you can also find in the forums).
I think I was just running the EI01 regular baseband. I didn't know that was even a factor. I'm going to try to find everything you just mentioned haha, wish me luck

actually i run into the same problem.. im on ec01 radio comm 1.2, i live in an area with poor service.. but i could usually send messages.. now if i lose service for more than 5-10 minutes.. i have to reboot phone to get them to send/recieve.. not even toggling airplane mode will bring it back.. ive tried *228 with no improvement
Ok so I reflashed a stock fully bloated 100% original rom and took the OTA update to Froyo which upgrades the modem to ED01 right? So i should be able to flash the community rom fine now without any problems right? or am i completely wrong?

It should work if you followed adrynalyne's steps to getting ED01 with ED01 radio. Good luck!

Best method

I been running the international ICS for a while. This past week I decided to try the CM9/10 roms. Everything went well. I want to give the official ICS update a try. I am new to custom roms, what would be the best way to accomplish ICS update.
Edit-I tried to update via TWRP and CWM but for me neither way worked. I flashed recovery.img file through flashboot and then did the update manually. Just wish there was a way to get rid of that T-Mobile sound on boot-up.

You can try the manual install via this post as a start. It might still install over your existing ROM. Not sure if it checks for a signature though.
It worked over my rooted Honeycomb T-mobile ROM, but now I don't have root anymore as expected.

MMS not working on custom rom

Hey guys well I installed a custom rom the mms stopped working I can't send or receive them they just hang on sending.
I am 100% sure the apns are correct. However I can't seem to fix the problem. I have reflashed the rom many times to see if that fixed it but no luck. Some help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
EDIT: it appears that mms works on goSMS but not the stock messaging program. Is there a way to fix that?
EDIT 2: Managed to fix it I had a custom mms.apk that I had running and obviously it wasn't right for my phone as I went back to another one in an old rom I had and it is now working
Is it a JB Rom by chAnce? That's the only thing keeping me from running jb and if you found a fix I'd love to hear...

It was with ICS the custom rom that it wasn't working. However I did try and go across to a JB rom and it didn't work. However It was weird I took the messaging app out of the JB rom zip that I tried flashing and used that mms.apk on my ICS rom where mms wasn't working and it worked. So I am totally confused. I am going to flash that JB paranoid android rom again and use the mms.apk i am using now and see what happens. Although with that JB ROM I had problems with my camera, lagging and not taking the photo. What rom were you thinking of using, and what one did you flash where mms didn't work?
Did anyone find the sollution for mms working on jb roms?

[Q] LG G2 VS980 26A Bootloop installing Cyanogenmod Nightly

I have an Lg G2 VS980 running ota 26A and I am trying to install the cyanogenmod 11 nightly. The only problem Is it keep bootlooping. I wipe the phone correctly and everything then install the zip. CWM (I have the latest version of Clockworkmod Touch) says the install was successful. I have tried everything to get this rom installed. I have done multiple wipes I have downloaded the latest nighties I've even tried installing a custom kernel alongside the rom, all the same result the phone would flash the LG logo on the screen turn off vibrate and repeat. Believe me when I say this I have tried everything to think of but still I won't boot to Cyanogenmod. I have rooted correctly using stumproot(It does work on the G2) and flashed CWM touch with flashify. I've followed the steps to flash perfectly still bootloop.
I need help with this I am tired of LG optimus ui and lg software and I really want to have Cyanogenmod on this phone. What Do I need to do to successfully flash this rom and use cm because at this point I have nothing.
So If anyone can help that would be GREATLY appreciated Ive lost count of times ive been bootlooped, and I really want cyanogenmod installed. If not CM then something like PA
Thanks again

I see. Was trying to find a common element, but there goes that theory.
There appears to be a number of people having the same problem with VS98024a and VS98026a. No solution yet so far. At least I haven't found one yet.
To clarify you are running CWM not TWRP?
P.S.:
I might have found our problem. Maybe?
The CM 11 M7 snapshot is based on Android 4.4.2.
I have not seen M7 version for vs980...... Let me know if you find one.

I have the solution..... What the problem is is the newer bootstacks don't have an exploit... The Loki is killed.... So what you are going to want to do is downgrade your bootstack...12b is one that will run some of the older ROMs but 24a is what most are using to build off of.... if you need more direction then this let me know

The link I provided explains how to install CM on 26A. Did you not even bother to look at it?

Hey! How did you do your update? Through OTA? what route did you use to install the update? And your phone model, because those using D6502 and flashing LP, majority are facing same problem. This is because specific model built for that one isn't yet released, so Modem drivers are not fully working if you flash other specific model release on this, eg d6503 on D6502.
First, my Device is an D6503.
By many trys ive figured out thats not Rom relateted.
Ive downloaded the .690 customized DE and flashed with Flashtool, but at my first try i dont wipe complete a n d ive flashed apricot kernel also. So, at my last try, ive flashed with full wipe and with stock kernel from this thread -->
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xpe...ot-stock-flashable-kernel-23-1-0-690-t3061816
to have root access. The only issue ill have, i cant install Xposed correct. With the discription in this thread, it wont work for me(bootloop).
