I am currently in contact with NuShields so they can send me a replacement screen protector, they are willing to make an exact fit if I can provide them with the exact dimensions including radius degrees on rounded corners. Can anyony help me with this?

Turn the tablet facedown on a sheet of paper, trace it out, and subtract about 1/8" or 2mm from the outline. Make a note too where the camera lens is, and the light sensor, you will want them to allocate for those as well. I purchased one for the Folio, and will do this exact thing to make my template, then cut down the folio sheet to match.

*Heads up* Cheap eBay Screen protector's not a good fit!

I picked up 6 for $2 off ebay for the Idol 3.....they are easy to identify because they have a square notch cut out at the top for the camera....avoid these if you can...they are not a perfect fit and are slightly shorter than they need to be. If you align them to the top of the phone you will have a gap at the bottom AND you will have the camera blocked by the screen protector in spite of the notch which doesn't come down low enough. If you align to the bottom then obviously the top has a gap. This is especially an issue for THIS phone since it's fully reversible and in fact I use that mode in the car alot so that it will sit in the cup holder with the port on the top. The seller tried to state I'd applied it incorrectly but did not respond to my question of how it could be misapplied without one side or the other overlapping the end of the phone. It's minor but when you swipe down to get notification tray you'll brush your finger over the edge of the screen protector...this gives a spot that will trap grime and possibly pull the screen protector up if you catch it just right.
These were obviously cut before the phone was actually in their hands...so spend a few dollars more and skip the aggravation. I attached the same pics I sent the seller.
i bought an skinomi one on amazon for like 9 bucks 12$ in total with the shipping i have heard of skinomi being a good brand you can check this one out here http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00WL4V95I?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00
as you can see it even leaves some holes for the sensors and the camera but covers the LED but i dont mind that though will make a new thread when it arrives and after i install it ill post some pics
I just received these screen protectors (3pcs for $2.18) and the cut is very precise. There are other size packs as well, with 2pcs for $1.78 up to 6pcs for $2.98. There is also a tempered glass one available for under $7 but it is sold out right now. Shipping is also very fast since the seller is in the US (I can't post links yet):
w w w. e b a y. c o m /itm/141686264838?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&var=440825850956&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
These protectors have a circle-slot cutout for the camera and proximity sensor rather than the ones with the huge notch cutout from the top edge like some of the other cheap badly fitting ones I ordered before. The fit is so precise (virtually exact on the left and right edges, and less than 1mm on the top and bottom edges) that it's easy to align this protector since the glass has a very very slight lip going around the edge. The other ones on eBay and Amazon with the circle-slot cutout seem to go for about $5-6 for 3pcs, so these seem like a good deal and aren't that much more than the badly fitting huge notch ones.
The seller even pointed to this YouTube video for installation, which I thought was very clever:
w w w. y o u t u b e. c o m /watch?v=_oJX99p3kEc
I taped from the top edge though, and then pulled the underside backing away from top just a little bit, then immediately flipped it over to apply the protector to the screen, then pulled the rest of the backing away from top to bottom underneath (instead of right to left shown in the video) to have as little chance as possible for dust to get in underneath.

The "wet application" method of some water with dish detergent in it seems to work well for applying as well. Much easier to "squeegee" some water out with a credit card into some paper towels then to try to work out air.
http://www.amazon.com/Mr-Shield-One...sim_107_6?ie=UTF8&refRID=0GQJRHD6PQC791ZS6A8T I'm using the Mr. Shield and it's fitment is pretty good. Could've been perhaps 1/32nd or 1/64th of an inch longer, but it'll do the job. As long as the glass doesn't get scratched, that's what's important.
Using a tempered glass since I got the phone, and it working really well. I'd say go with the glass protector.

Which one are you using? And how it's it holding up?
I also ordered a tempered glass one from ebay for $7-8 but have not yet applied it. I have not previously applied a glass one so I've been viewing vid's since applying them is different vs the flimsy ones.
How vital is it to use a screen protector for Idol 3? Is the glass not that strong? I have always used protectors on my Nexus phones and our iPad has one, too. But I don't use one on my Nexus tablets and haven't had a problem. If I'm carrying the Idol 3 in my pocket, are scratches likely?
Re: the Mr. Shield protectors, I'm considering ordering a set. I get the impression from their website and the instructional videos that they're the exact same protectors as the Halo Direct ones I've been using. Temporarily, I put a Nexus 4 Halo Direct protector on my Idol 3 screen, which doesn't give full coverage, of course. Because there's about 1/3" that isn't covered, I can see the contrast between the colors beneath the protector and those that aren't. There's a very slight dulling of the color using the protector, fwiw.
In any case, I'd sort of prefer to stop using protectors and cases. But as I just got this phone, and am not entirely sure I'll keep it beyond the 30 day return period (I do like it so far, even if it's a little sluggish, as billed), I want to make sure that it's eligible for a refund if that's what I end up wanting.
It looks like the whole screen protector needs to go down 1mm so the top and bottom will be symmetrical. Right now its too high its touching the camera.
You can also easily remove the dust and bubbles under your screen protector if you use the sticky side on scotch tape to pull them out
Hope that helps!
Just got a 3 pack of Mr. Shields from amazon. Good fit (they are a tad smaller than actual screen size, which kinda helps with install) and probably one of the easiest protectors I have ever put on. Went on with zero bubbles in the 1st try. Just used their tutorial video on the website. Recommended for $5.99 for a 3 pack with lifetime warranty.
thanks for the info, will get one too.

The Mr. Shield ones fit fine, but I was very disappointed with how easily they got scratched.

Full-screen glass screen protector

I bought one of those "hardened glass" screen protectors from ebay, but it doesn't cover the whole screen. There's a about 2-3 mm gap from the protector to the edge of the screen.
Anyone found and successfully applied a screen protector that covers the whole screen? Not necessarily (but preferably) "glass", I just want one that covers the whole screen.
Yes, I have screen glass that lays near the metal edge and have a 0.5 mm gap around 'home' button and speaker. It is a Chinese/noname one and it was mounted on a service center.
have buyd one too,its from www and i have it from a seller in my street, works good, because my phone kissed the floor and only the screenglass from the safer is broken, its real glass for 5 euro and its awesome.

There are some dust from the beach but I hardly ever clean the phone...
don't suppose anyone has found one that fits completely?
I don't know if it's allowed to post links, but after a ery long research, I found this one and it's the best I ever had.
Just search this on ebay: PROTECTOR DE CRISTAL TEMPLADO FRONTAL COMPLETO 3D SAMSUNG GALAXY A5 2016 +FUNDA
Very good full screen protection, nothing bad about it, good price and fast delivery (from Spain to Germany at least ).
has anyone tried the spigen one? I am really tempted to buy it but I was wondering how it actually was
For my A7 2016, I came across a China brand: Nillkin. The tempered glass is called the Amazing H for 0.3mm thickness and Amazing H+ Pro 0.2mm thickness. Manufacturer site stated the glass is 68mm in width (which is the flat surface before it curves on the sides). I just ordered the Amazing H+ Pro considering the other sellers sell tempered glass that are shorter width than what Nillkin offers... might post pictures after obtaining and installing it.
13 June 2017 Edit: A little late editing my post due to Internet issues. Also unable to post images onto the post due to forum restrictions so quoted links to image will have to do.
Installed product. Halo effect on all edges of the screen. Does not affect visibility during phone operation.

Tempered glass width is approximately 1mm less of the phone's display width. All other screen protectors I've bought make this less to avoid the halo effect. If installed properly - the halo effect does not hinder visual display during phone use.

Pros: Nillkin is one of the brands that have their tempered glass width fit almost close to the phone's display area. Includes a plastic screen protector for the back camera lens and back glass panel as part of the package. Also includes an anti-static strip that you apply on the phone screen before finalizing the tempered glass installation to minimize lint/dust accumulation.
Cons: Proper installation can be quite frustrating as there is little margin for error (particularly on the width of the phone screen) so installation needs to be spot on. Edges can accumulate dust/lint if not properly installed/aligned. Is slightly pricey than the many screen protectors sold on the cheap that lacks the width equivalent to the phone's display area.
I'm looking for a tempered glass protector for my A3 2017. The one I bought doesn't cover the whole surface because the glass of the screen is slightly curved close to the edges, a la iPhone. I don't know if such a tempered glass protector exists. Do you know anyone?

Search eBay for this item number 172318279555 for the A5

Side bezels

Since I want to repair my screen I bought on eBay a screen with assembly frame, so I didn't have to tape the screen to the frame myself.
Unfortunately the side bezels are missing on the longest sides (see photo). I can't find the side bezels for the Tablet Z Does anybody got experience with this? Where can I buy them? Or can I simply dissemble them from the old frame?
Please let me know, else the only option I see is to return the screen and buy a new one without the assembly frame... Thanks in advance .

Rhinoshield Solidsuit and Impact Screen Protector for 6T

Attached are the photos of the 6T solid suit and the impact screen protector that I just installed this morning. The solid suit feels amazing and the screen protector is film and feels like glass, but is definitely not glass, just so there is no confusion there. It does seem to go from left edge to right edge completely and where I placed it seems to cover the entire screen top to bottom. The slider on the case really works and the buttons are fantastic; smooth and clicky, not at all hard to press. I love both and I'm glad I got them ordered on Black Friday now because two protectors and a case was not inexpensive but they are both super high quality and way more affordable than the glass one from T-Mobile so I'm happy with my purchase. If you have any questions I'll try my best to answer them!
Also, don't mind the doggo, she likes being in pictures.
Can u tell me how the side buttons are? Are they still clicky? Or are they mushy like the stock case that comes with the phone....
And how's the slider button? Is it flimsy?

The buttons are great, I handed someone else my phone so two people could verify that they are very clicky and easy to push. The slider has some play in it up and down but it does work correctly when it hits the slider on the device. No issues with functionality at all this is a really great case.

I tried crashguard on op6 and hated it. I think I'll like the solid suit better. Thanks for the pics. Screen protector is intriguing also, seems very clear....
Thankfully I waited I can get the print backs now. Just waiting or one particular one to be available
Is the screen protector you have on This one? It says "Not Full Coverage" on it... I can't see clearly on your photos how close to the edge of the screen the screen protector comes to... I had the same impact screen protector on my old Samsung Galaxy S7, and it didn't even cover the full screen on the left and right, which is the reason I didn't order this screen protector for my 6T..
how slick is the screen protector compared to the pre-applied plastic one from OP?

Sorry about the late response I'm traveling abroad. I have the impact screen protector as the tempered glass one is for the back I think. Anyway, as far as not full coverage I think what they mean is that it covers the visible screen but not the edges past that. It doesn't extend fully top to bottom either but it does cover all the visible screen space as far as I can tell; no obvious cutoff of the screen though it does require precise placement to line it up properly.

Much slicker definitely. Feels like glass but definitely doesn't get rid of oil the way glass does. It feels good to the touch and it is very strong as I dropped on a stool and it bounced onto a hardwood floor right after that. There was no damage to the screen, but the protector did crack so I'll replace it when I get home. It did very well holding up to direct impact on a metal stool; lived up to the hype for me.
Can u take better pictures of the screen protector again?

The impact resistance shatters? I thought it was some type of plastic film.

I also purchased a SolidSuit (with the lens mount) for my 6T and while I like the build material, I don't like the little details. Let me explain:
1) The back of the case has this weird look and feel like it's made from three separate medium-fiber density board with a black sticker over it. I can actually feel the transitions between the three pieces and I don't like it. See the attached picture.
2) There is a noticeable gap at the top of the phone where the back meets the bumper edge. However, on the bottom, it's completely flush. My pockets are clean, but somehow dust and small particles find its way into that tiny gap. Ugh,
3) The special lens adapter is amazing since I am now able to mount the Moment 18mm WIDE V2 lens. However, since the bayonet mount sits so far away from the camera lens, it creates vignetting. FYI: The OP6T and the OP6 share the same lens adapter. I bought both. They are labeled differently, but they are identical in every way: height, mounting point, etc. If they did this correctly, the adapter for the OP6T should be SHORTER since it does NOT have the same camera height protrusion as the oneplus 6.

It didn't shatter really, it just cracked along a seam where the impact was. When I get back home in two days I'll try to get pictures of the crack and the screen protector.

Regarding a back skin I am not aware of any sold in China probably outside of it maybe yeah. The only cases that were available for the 1st generation ROG were only these type of TPU cases. I hope it's not the same case for the ROG 2. So far the only cases you can find for the ROG 2 are the TPU and book cover types.

Yes there is a cut out for air triggers and side USB. I can use the air triggers but not comfortably, if you use them too much I would suggest using the plastic case included with phone instead. You can check the cut outs from the pictures attached.
I bought a TPU Case and Tempered Glass screen protector off eBay (both came from the same seller) for my ROG Phone 2 (Tencent 8GB/128GB model), so I thought I'd share my thoughts on them.
Case ($10.89): Ultra Thin Soft Silicone Case For ASUS Rog Phone 2 ZS660KL Shockproof Back Cover
Screen Protector ($14.89): Nillkin CP+Pro Tempered Glass Full Screen Protector For ASUS ROG Phone 2 ZS660KL
I love both items!
The case is probably one of the best TPU cases available for the ROG Phone 2 at the moment. All ports are accessible, everything lines up properly, Air Triggers still work great, it has a nice 0.3mm raised lip around the screen to help protect it. Overall, nothing really bad to say about the case, other than maybe the "Soft Silicone" part of the name is a bit misleading as its not like super soft rubber or anything like that. Its flexible before inserting the phone, but I wouldn't really call it soft silicone. Still though, its a great case and I feel the phone is protected from small accidental drops now (definitely more-so than the stock clear hard plastic case that comes with it)!
The Tempered Glass screen protector is also great. The fingerprint sensor still works just fine, Its easy to apply, it can be lifted and re-positioned if you don't get it on perfect the first time. I was worried about the black borders around this particular screen protector when I first bought it, but everything lines up perfectly and doesn't appear to be covering or blocking anything when positioned correctly on the screen!
Edit: ok so even when installed perfectly, the black borders on the sides of the screen protector do block a tiny bit of the screen when viewed straight on... But it is tiny, like maybe 5 or 10 pixels on each side of the screen. You really gotta be looking for it to notice it though.
Edit2: so it also seems there is a very slight decrease in touch screen sensitivity with the tempered glass screen protector installed. After using it for awhile I noticed very occasionally it wouldn't register my input and I'd have to tap again. HOWEVER, this phone is so awesome, it has a built in way to solve this issue. Just go into the settings, then Advanced, scroll to the bottom and enable Glove Mode! It's meant to increases the touch screen sensitivity while wearing gloves, obviously, but works well to fix this minor issue as well.

I've also ordered the nillkin CP+Pro tempered glass.

Can you also share images from bottom and top of the cover with phone?? And how much thickness does this cover add to the phone?
Also does it create issues in heat dissipation?
Thanks

Including the 0.3mm raised lip around the phones screen, this case adds a total of 2.5mm of thickness and 3mm of width to the phone.
Measuring with my digital calipers, the phone without a case is 9.5mm thick and 78mm wide (not including the slight camera bump or the phones buttons). With the case on it measured 12mm thick and 81mm wide.
Heat dissipation is still excellent. I haven't noticed any change at all in temperatures.
I've looked everywhere but its nowhere to be found, can anyone guides me as to where I can get a good tpu case?
International vendors ship to india but delivery dates are no less than 30 days after I order.
Hi,
No TPU case present in India as of yet.
I have bought the one described in this thread - link
The units sold is very less in comparison to other brands like oneplus that is why you don't see recognised brands like spigen, otterbox or ringke creating a case for this phone.
Your best bet is to place an order on Aliexpress or Amazon.com.
Though sellers will be shipping cases from china only.
Please share if you find out some other good case?
Also look at these cases available as of now - Link

Measuring with my digital calipers, the phone without a case is 9.5mm thick and 78mm wide (not including the slight camera bump or the phones buttons). With the case on it measured 12mm thick and 81mm wide.
Heat dissipation is still excellent. I haven't noticed any change at all in temperatures.

Thanks for the reply, I guess you indulge in DIY projects (measuring the dimensions using digital calipers :laugh
Do you play games on this phone? Do you observe noticeable increase in temp with the cover placed?

Lol yup lots of DIY and 3D Printing stuff.
I play lots of games on it via emulators, and some native gaming with PUBG and the new COD Mobile. No noticable temp increases.
This one is out of this world LOL!
