DHGate Case - G Tablet Accessories

I no you can't post links here but I just saw a leather case made specifically for the gtablet in dhgate. Light sensor, camera, volume, power, other side ports aren't covered.it looks prettty good. For 1 piece it cost 58 dollars. I'm gonna buy it nd tell you guys how it is. Its like a book case nd can be propped up!

I ordered it about a week ago - still hasn't arrived yet. They must have been getting a bunch of orders and jacked the price up. When I ordered it it was only $40 shipped.

$43 shipped. Ordered 2 days ago, payment confirmed through paypal, waiting on shipment (They have until Dec 10th to ship.)

Has anyone received their ZAC Electric case yet through DHGate? I ordered mine on Dec. 12th and still haven't received it, but they did bill me. I got a bogus tracking number and I'm not getting and response from Zaki, the seller, through DHGate. Anyone else get screwed by this guy?

Yep...same thing here. He did answer one email, stating that there was bad weather to blame. I responded that the tracking number he sent to me was bogus, and that either he lied about shipping it (which is fraud) or it was sent and there should be a different tracking number. I gave him till today to respond before I cancelled my order, and have heard nothing from him. RIP OFF! Caveat emptor!

Did you figure out how to get a refund? The dhgate site is a little misleading.

I just received a reply email from Zaki saying he was very busy, sorry that everyone felt he might be a scam, and apologized about the problems with bad weather and deliveries, but he encouraged we request refunds if we felt it was neccesary. I told him I would wait it out because I like the look of the case. Hopefully I'm not let down. I requested a status update for the time frame for the delivery, since that it my biggest concern. Are we talking days, weeks, or months......

I just received an email that my refund is being processed. Will take two business days.

I received the case today and it's the wrong one. It covers all the buttons. This idiot sent me something else, not the one pictured on DHGate. Do not buy from this guy.

I received word that I may be getting a few custom cases in the nest week or so. I try to keep quiet in case I DON'T receive anything and not to create false hope. So far I have been receiving things as scheduled.
When / If they come in I will write up a quick review and, of course, list what I have available for you guys that are holding out for one.

[Q] people who got shipping notices from amazon

On your orders page, did it say that it will arrive after the 25th, or did it say something else before you got the notice?
Everyones said " Asus will not ship to you because you are a preorder sucker...jokes on you!"
Mine said it would be delivered after the 25th ever since I preordered. But I just got the email saying it would be delivered the 19th.

Mine is already in transit, got shipping number. Used one day shipping. Amazon sent it by FedEx. It will arrive on the 19th.

Too many people looking for attention i'm finding on these boards of late...and everyone so far who's said "i've received it" actually..well..havent.
so..for anyone else who's received it and is brave enough...post your tracking number to back up the claim. (I know what the responses are going to be from those people.."whether or not you believe me..i got it..so stfu" )

I received mine at my doorstep. 100 percent truth. Called my apartment complex to pick it up and put it in the apartment because I'm not there right now.

Now you're just being paranoid. Of course it needs to be signed for. That is why I had it sent to my girlfriend who signed for it. You do know you can choose to send orders on Amazon to other people?
As for the tracking info being anonymous - that it just plain wrong. That includes the name of the person signing for the package.

Curious as to why this never popped up on nowinstock.com. hmmmm. I wouldn't have ordered anywayz cause I got a bunch of BB giftcards for Christmas but still kind of odd to me. Interesting... I put my order in at CDW for a "Champagne Gold" (looks aluminum-colored, aka silvery white-grey, to me) 32GB Transformer Prime and dock on 12/2, and was initially told by my account manager that the tablet was backordered until Feb. 1st, and the dock was backordered until Jan. 3rd. I was pleasantly surprised to receive the tablet last Friday, but the dock is now listed as backordered until Jan. 25th.
Gah, just as I was typing this, one of the accountants stopped by with a an asset tag (a sticker that has to be placed on all company property valued at over $100) that I had to put on the back of my tablet. The concentric brushed metal pattern is ruined! Oh Transformer, what man would want you now?!?
I made an offer, but he will probably say no cause I am not paying $300 for a $150 dock lol
Why don't you guys just pre-order from Gamestop.com, that's what I did.
I wouldn't dare waste time on ebay when dealing something as precious as this.

I offered $185, seemed reasonable to me, but I got declined lol.
I just got my dock from newegg today. totally worth it. I can actually be quick and productive on this thing now.
I do agree with engadget's complaint about how the trackpad doesn't "shut off" while typing. Seems like it'd be an easy firmware fix though. Was that ever "fixed" with the first Transformer?

Rhino Shield Screen Protector

Has anyone received the Rhino Shield for their Nexus 6 yet? Curious, as I've had my phone for over a week and don't like the naked screen.

I work for the Postal Service, and noone would EVER make a statement like that. Think about ANY business. Would they say "don't do business with us this week because we will lose/ruin/break your items".
That email is the worst lie a company could ever make. Think about it. They are making excuses for the delay so you don't blame them.
Thanks for showing me that. Now I will make sure to tell people never to buy from liars like Rhino.

I just think of Cliff Clavin, and how upset he would be if he saw that email. I call the company's bluff, 100%.

Just my little input. They aren't shipping from the states. I mean they do have a point though with packages being stolen as I've had a package stolen once while it was at a USPS faculty. But on that note I wouldn't call them liars exactly. Just wanting to make sure you get what you paid for. I am not even mad as I still have the factory screen still on mine lol. But I get what you are saying though when you work for a company and someone says something against it.

What my point was, is that no representative of the USPS would tell a shipper, "don't use us, we will just lose your items", as stated in that email a few posts back. Neither would a representative of UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc. That makes them a liar.
I never said that things don't go missing or stolen. It happens at every corporation, big and small.

I never used a rhino shield screen protector. Is it a glass protector ? Or just a simple plastic one ? What's the advantage of using this one compared to a tempered glass besides the obvious problem with fit for glass.

It's supposed to be really protective. Like if you drop it the from really high it won't shatter or break, and you can apparently hit your screen with a hammer and it wouldn't break and you can drop a ball weight on it and stuff. It's plastic

Would have yesterday morning but I missed the FedEx guy. Hopefully this morning.

Anybody order from Slickwraps lately?

Are they still in business? I ordered a skin for this device three weeks ago and they never shipped it. I emailed them twice, PM'd the guy who posts here sometimes, and left multiple messages on their BS answering machine. No response at all.
I think they're about to shut down or something, I wouldn't order from them or they might steal your money too.

Same here. I called, e-mailed, XDA messaged, everything for almost two weeks. FINALLY got a response a couple days ago that said they were behind on the Pixel orders and promised it would ship this week but didn't indicate anything more precise or about expediting. Unfortunately, just means another week without protection on the device and I went and bought a Skinomi because theirs never showed up when my Pixel did. Frustrating as had I known it would be delayed, I would have purchased something else. I was going to file a chargeback if I didn't hear something when I did.

People shouldn't have to email you if you have shipment delays, the opposite should happen. This is very basic stuff. I know you didn't delay on taking my money.

If I don't have a ship notice by tomorrow, I'll just go the credit card route.

Ordered a black leather skin from them on Wednesday evening, got my tracking number yesterday. USPS tracking site sez it'll be here Monday.
Update: the skin arrived Saturday. Ordered 10/26, received 10/29. No complaints from me.
I've already applied it. It's very fiddly to put on (one piece covers sides and back), but I really like the fit. The sides wrap around and come right to the edge of the front glass.
Same thing happened to me. Ordered a Pixel skin on Oct 8th, didn't hear a thing. Called on 23rd and was told it would ship "within two weeks" I immediately requested they cancel my order and issue a refund and at first they said they couldn't. I said I would be happy to file a dispute with paypal, and they immediately issued a refund.
I had a similar experience with slickwraps a couple of years ago, and gave them another shot for the pixel. Not again. Plenty of wrap vendors out there these days,

I ordered my naked matte wrap and after about a week it shipped. In the meantime I had contacted customer service and they replied very quickly saying they were backed up due to high demand.

Fedex lost my phone!

I ordered two phones, one for my wife and one for myself. Fedex delivered one package today with one phone. Both packages were scanned in to the local drop center at 5:11am this morning. One was scanned onto a truck at 9:30 and the other one has no activity at all. They have no idea where the other package is. And it being Saturday evening, they said that they're unlikely to get it figured out until sometime on Monday morning.
I was so looking forward to getting the phone and setting it up tonight.

they are getting slicker and slicker on covering their tracks...lol but seriously, it might just end up finding it's way to you next business day. If not, fault is on them. Once it's on your country's soil, they cant call foul play on loss/theft and deny responsibility. they acctualy had it in their depot. U'll either get a refund or a new one i would think. You just need to harass the shipper now.

I've been harassing them non-stop for most of the day. They told me on the phone that they only deliver Tuesday through Saturday for this type of Fedex delivery. So the next chance that I have to get it is Tuesday afternoon. If it's not delivered by then, then the harassing starts again.
Hope i wont go through this my self. But then again,i payed mine with paypal so usually they are the muscle.
Since its the international variant, im reading up on how i can change the csc to a canadian variant although i cant flash the rom since obviously its exynos vs snapdragon.
trying to keep busy while waiting for it to ship....
also ordered a couple cases and screen protectors to test out. its very hard to pick only one of each and be satisfied with the results. theres always some weird fitting issue or simply trash quality that makes the device feel sub pare.

What if your wife is just setting up a prank with the Fedex guy, to then have Aston Kutcher jump out the bushes and your being featured on his 1st episode to his comback of "Prank'd" but before Aston uploads it to MTV your wife uploads it to YouTube and it gets millions of views bringing in revenue and being able to pay off both phones with the YouTube money and win a chance to see the Note 9 google edition prototype running android Oreo at the Samsung Lab.

What if your wife is just setting up a prank with the Fedex guy, to then have Aston Kutcher jump out the bushes and your being featured on his 1st episode to his comback of "Prank'd" but before Aston uploads it to MTV your wife uploads it to YouTube and it gets millions of views bringing in revenue and being able to pay off both phones with the YouTube money and win a chance to see the Note 9 google edition prototype running android Oreo at the Samsung Lab.

Ya know, that's another thing that I never thought of.
Man that sucks I would be pissed. But what could you do? Hope you get it soon it's a great phone.
They didn't lose it I think. Same thing happened to me. Th3y said they couldn't find it, but found out it was locked away in some container and it was delivered the following Monday. Just wait for it is all I can say

Why would they not deliver the package on Monday? That doesn't make sense to me, express delivery should happen any business day of the week. Maybe that's why mine says delivery Tuesday even though it's in the local sort facility already.

The guy that I talked to at FedEx called it "FedEx Home Delivery", and said it only runs between Tuesday and Saturday. It's probably the cheapest way that they could find to deliver it.
Interesting, FedEx Home Delivery is listed as Tuesday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m

Same thing happened to me. Supposed to be overnighted to me last Thursday. Arrived is Memphis depot, from there, nobody knows where it is. I asked them how is that possible, that's their core business, shipping and being able to track the shipments. Anyway, I told them to send it back when/if they find it. Fedex is crap!!
Don't feel like you're alone. Fedex has lost my Note 5 I sent in as my trade in. I have verified it was picked up by the driver, but has since disappeared, there's not even any tracking information. Fedex is supposedly researching, but I don't expect it to be found. That puts me out a phone, plus the $425 trade in credit with Samsung. Soooo pissed right now....
kind the same happened to my friend Note 8, he had it hold at UPS location for pickup but when he show up to pick up the phone, they can not locate it.
