hello...I'm in much mich need of help...yes i have the option on settings to replace wm 6.5 lockscreen...i changed the registry value to 0...tried unlocking s2u2...then lockout.g it hope.g to get the warning to soft reset or will ne double locked...and don't get the message...i just put s2u2 back on my phone it was working...o tried CHT lockscreen but turned it off and when i didno got the message to soft reset or will be double locked...i hit ok...then soft reset...but still double locked...and losing my mind...grrrrrr....please help me....thank you in advance...
your only option is to hard reset your phone. it gives you a warning that you need to restart your phone after installing S2US or it will double lock. i hope you backup your contacts, messages etc.. that was the only way i resolve my issue when i got it double lock.

First of all, don't do a hard reset because it's simply not clear what you're trying to say.
Can you explain, legibly, what the problem is?

ok does anyone know if the imei-check.co.uk does that do a cid unlock also?
I followed the instructions and installed the new rom from faria's 4 step installer.
My questions are everything seem to go ok however i am getting a
sddaemon cannot be opened. either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of it's components cannot be found. if the problem persists, try reinstalling or restorin this file.
What does this program do? how to fix this?
Also when i was doing the flashing there was small icons above the "calendar" "contacts" that are not there anymore. like a blue tooth icon small green circle icon that allows you to restart wizard, small lock so you can lock the screen and buttons.. any idea why these don't show now? i get the little battery and mda that switches the screen layout but not the other ones.
Yes, imei-check does CID unlock.
However it is not required to CID unlock if you use ShellTool and you have a OEM ROM on hand for restoring.
Using aWizard or ShellTool may require you to hard reset for 2 to 3 times for the OS to function without any problem. If you tried to hard reset and the problem persists, flash with the same ROM again.

i will try hard reseting it a few times to see what happens.
i did find that the sddaemon is for the voice dialer which i just deleted since i don't use voice dial.

Im using XDA NEO with PDAViet 4.0.0.0.5b Cross, when Im use a soft reset, but still put it in charging mode, my prophet Pin password auto reset to another number, now I cant login to my prophet with my password. I cant do a hard reset cause have so much data do not backup, trying use defaut '1234' '12345' still incorect. Who have a solution help me plz

There is no solution.... you have to hard reset.....
There is an incompatibility problem with password protection on all cooked WM6 ROMS. If you put a password teh device shall forget the password afterf every soft reset.
by the way, pls use search this ques has been asked and answered a million times already.
...tried to unlockit with the athena-unlocker! After Step 1 it startet to Step2 und suddenly the connection was lost!
Now the battery lamp of the Ameo is in green mode!
I can make a factory reset, but I see no bootloader mode!
Screen is black an a green light aroundthe joystick! The Connection via active sync to my pc isn't available any mory!
What do you think?

Hi, I do not think your Ameo is lost. Some else hat the same problem, please check http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1358430&postcount=35 and try the steps described there. In most cases, it is also possible to flash WM6 if your device is stuck in the bootloader.
There are two things I would like you to try:
- To make a Hardreset hold the volume slider down and press the reset button.
- To enter Bootloader press and hold the camera button and press the reset button.
Do any of these work?
If any of these two works, you should be able to flash WM6.

You're welcome, have fun with WM6 However, if you want to kill the SIM-Lock/Net-Lock on your device, you have to run the unlocker again. It seems that WM5 has some problems running the unlocker while WM6 does not.
After you successfully run the unlocker again, remember to flash your WM6 ROM again (watch the battery power, it should always be >50% before starting flashing!) so you have the newest Radio version.

i have this ameo does not go into boot loader or does not do hardreset
only red light on the joystick
problem occured while unlocking with Olipro, completing step 1 (got stuck at the point of saving the spl file)

I'm a french beginner and I tried to update my HTC x7500 to the radio v1.58.
At the screen of my PDA, it display "Loading...", and I can do nothing because the USB connection doesn't work anymore.
What Can I do?
I have already try a hard reset by press Volume down and reset and I have always the same message at the screen "Loading..."
Also I 've forgot to use "AthenaUnlocker.exe" before my upgrade.

I found the solution, I removed the battery and after a few minutes, I restart my PDA and do a hard reset.

I have installed SCHIST WM6.5 21864 in my ASUS P527. I have set the simple 4 digit password. it was working fine. but, when i put the correct password also it is showing as "incorrect password" OR sometime no message will display.
I tried hard reset by pressing "RESET" button & scroll button But the same lock screen will appear again
Please help me to hard reset my phone
