Dell / AT&T, where is my 2.2? - Streak 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Happy New Year everybody!
I bought my Streak from BestBuy with 1.6 installed.
The OTA 2.2 update supposed to be before the New Year, but my System Update still shows "No software updates available at this time."
What's going on here? Who (Dell or AT&T) is delaying the update, and, more importantly, why?
Are they working on rectifying earlier bugs before releasing the final USA version, or just lazy? Or the update takes too much data bandwidth, and AT&T is trying not to overload their system
So, did anybody who bought Streak from BestBuy or Dell with 1.6 received the official update?
Best wishes in the New Year!

The only way i am moving from the 2.2 318 to att's rom when 2.2 gets here is if they fix some things, like video calls and so on. Otherwise, screw att and dells rom. It is gonna be loaded with crap that att makes them put in.

The official word from Dell was...
...December 2010:
http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/mobile-devices/f/3824/t/19353639.aspx
I wonder why they couldn't deliver - are there problems wit the current 2.2 update they are hoping to fix?

Just read the QDL-Repair tool tutorial, download and install the 309
version of 2.2 that comes with the QDL-Repair tool, then update to
the 318 version via the update. Takes longer to read & watch the video
than it did to actually update
QDL repair tool video & download>> http://streakdroid.com/?page_id=92
Dell 2.2 318 update>> http://mobileupdate.dell.com/?version=GAUSB1A121100
You'll obviously want to be on wi-fi when downloading...it's a 150 meg update.
The link will pop you right to the 318 update.
Unless you want the at&t version of the 2.2, personally, I think you would be better off with the non carrier version. The at&t version most likely won't have Bluetooth file transfer, wi-fi teathering and a few other features locked out, and also has all of the associated "value added apps" (bloat) that comes with having an at&t version of a rom.
The only stumbling block some have had, is getting the QDL tool & drivers to see the phone, if your OS is x64 windows 7.
I did the instructions TO THE LETTER, with my home & laptop version of x64 bit windows 7 and had absolutely not one issue.

Only problem I had with the tool was my usual USB port would give an error. Switched to another port and worked like a charm.

Yeah Im waiting to see if AT&Ts rom is any better then the O2 2.2 Rom. For video calls, I gto ooVoo to work. And like said earlier, the wifi teathering and what not is all there and works fine for me. Theres your glitch here and there, but no matter what happens with any release, your always gonna run into SOMETHING lol

Followed the instructions and now I have 2.2 on my Streak!
Tethering and Wifi works perfectly.
No problems so far, except that I wish android had smart dialing built-in natively.
It was so easy that I'm still skeptical.

We own Dell devices, what can we expect? You are on your own.

Hey are you guys using that crap stage ui or something more.... I love launcher pro the full version works really good and I also have SlideIT the full version for my keyboard I find that it is alot easier to type on in landscape mode.... Oh and launcher pro gives you so many different options and setting.... Just want to let everyone know that is going to read this

Just upgraded my att streak to 2.2 !!
I just followed the instruction to upgrade my shabby 1.6 to 2.2 and it worked like a charm!! Thanks a lot for this thread!!
The only problem is: my Dell PC Suite now is not able to recognize the plugged streak even if I can see the removable drive in Windows explorer (Vista). Could you please help on this issue?
Thanks again!

You need to uninstall Dell PC Suite and download the newer Dell Mobile Sync from below
http://support.dell.com/support/dow...dateid=-1&formatid=-1&source=-1&fileid=432022
The sad thing about the new software is that it's a bloated POS (it is made by Nero after all) compared to the old PC suite, however it does work and it adds Wifi Sync with 2.2.

Thanks a lot for the help! I installed Dell Mobile Sync but:
1) When I plugged streak Windows prompts me to install device driver (where can I find the driver?)
2) I then launched Mobile Sync but got "your mobile device requires the installation of updated hardware drivers...". After it took long time to update something I was finally able to sync with Outlook. But the sync of contacts is very slow (maybe through wifi instead of USB cable?).
So how can I fix the device driver issue? How do I know Nero is syncing through wifi or USB (how to configure it to use wifi?)? Thanks!

I ended up bricking my first streak through QDL, soooooo careful. I will say I used a different QDL tool that someone sent me a link to. So chances are the original one wouldn't have done it......who knows. Some folks have managed to brick their phones using QDL, so careful. Fortunately I was able to return my phone and get a new one since I just bought it. I'm going to hold out now on the official update. If the 12th comes and goes and nothing.......I'll start looking to get a microSD card reader in case I brick this one. This is to be my work phone, and currently can't get exchange natively. 2.2 will fix that. SO I've either got to have the official update OR need to manually do it.

probably not Dell's fault this time

Well, it's not like Dell has ever had shoddy customer support, but it looks like AT&T is at fault here. After all, how many AT&T branded devices have 2.2 yet?
The rest of the world (with a few exceptions) has the Streak with 2.2.
So, instead of Dell, we should probably give AT&T a giant heartfelt "up yours" on this one.

Hey I have a question im doing this update again for my friend and I can't remember if I need to delete one of the drivers on the streak first to do this..... And if so how and what is the name of the driver.... He just got the black one from best buy because of me and im doing the update tomorrow..... Any info would help thanks

do I need to do this to put the 2.2 update on the streak.... Using the tool

Followed the instructions and now I have 2.2 on my Streak! Only question now is when I goto SETTINGS > ABOUT PHONE > SYSTEM UPDATES > it takes me to a zingstaging.com which is no longer active. When the official AT&T 2.2 is out will I still be able to update? And thanks for the is awesome post.

Did you do any further update from the version QDl installed? I used the QDL tool to update my friends then manually flashed 309 and 318 to it so that it had the most current version. I would saw get those two builds and flash them just to make sure you are on the most current.

From here, you’ll want to upgrade to a newer release. The two options that people tend to choose from are to either go up to the official v2.2 ROM from Dell, or install DJ_Steve’s latest ROM.

Forthcoming T-Mobile G2 / HTC Hero 2.1 update in Europe

Hello,
I rooted my phone this week. T-Mobile in my country never provided an update for my T-Mobile G2. So my phone still runs on build 1.76.110.6.
I'm consider to install a custom ROM, because this firmware is really slow :-(
But If I will wait a few weeks and T-Mobile provides the 2.1 update this time, will I still have root access after the OTA update? Or will I lose the root access?
Are there any good and stable, full hardware supported custom ROMs with Android 2.1?
Or what's the best custom ROM at the moment for the HTC Hero/T-Mobile G2?

1. There is an update for T-mobile - have you ever checked the HTC support page? It is still v1.5 but its an update... (will remove root)
2. 2.1 is unlikely to be released by t-mobile in the next couple of weeks, you're probably be looking at a month or so and I also don't think OTA updates are supported on your current build. Also you will NOT have root and probably won't be able to easily downgrade again to gain root access.
3. There are lots of custom roms try reading the hundreds of other posts asking which 2.1 update to use. They are all about the same stability wise and realistically speed wise too, though some vary to a very minor degree.
How exactly did you get root in the first place? Or are you talking about a recovery image installed?

1) I couldn't download the official update from the HTC website, because you have to provide your serial number. And with my number I'm not allowed to download the update. Because I own an T-Mobile G2 instead of the "real" HTC Hero
2) If I install the latest update from T-Mobile/HTC I lose my root access and it could be hard to get it back again :-( That's bad
To get root on my phone I followed this tutorial:
phandroid.com/2009/08/04/how-to-gain-root-access-on-your-htc-hero/
(there are other similar tutorials out there)

Have you contacted them about this? The G2 is just a brand name, they are exactly the same phones as the Hero's and T-mobile doesn't actually sell any "Hero" phones just the G2. Therefore, that update is definitely for you.
Alternatively you could install the update using the exe found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=559622
Once again bear in mind that this wipes your data and will remove root and you may have a hard time getting it back.

Yes I contacted HTC and the answer was that I had to contact T-Mobile in my country. They told me that I lose the warranty if I install a update from the internet, because THEY didn't provide it.
But in other countries (e.g: Germany) T-Mobile provides this update.
So what should I do now? What's the best solution? Install an official HTC update and lose root access or install on of the custom ROMs out there?

2.1 ROM, super duper quick, backup your apps via titanium back, then restore once you have flashed the new ROM. Maybe a good idea to backup messages etc if you want them

Should I install Nandroid before flashing?
At the moment I "only" have root access and not installed any additional boot loader or other software/firmware.
Would like to try your suggested ROM (Cronos Droid Version 1.3). Do I have to wipe my sd card to install this ROM?
And do you run the Non Overclocked or the Overclocked version?

Dell Streak rogers 1.6 to US 2.2 how i did it

Seen alot of blogs explaining how to update the android of Dell streak phones from AT&T and O2 but none for the Rogers with build number 7921.
Well i spent some time when i got my new phone to find out how to do it and to my surprise it was hard to find how to but easy to actually do it.
Only to follow 2 different site tutorials to get this done.
1. Follow the last part of the tutorial to get your streak to version 6601 ATT&T
after this phrase "If you just wanted to revert to O2 1.6 (build 4399) then you are done. If you are going to AT&T 1.6 (build 6601) we have to change the system so it will upgrade the the AT&T ROM."
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=805112
once you got your streak to 1.6 ATT&T build 6601 you must follow a simple tutorial with interactive video and even has a video so you can make it work with your win7 X64 witch alot of tutorials don't help with.
2. Follow this part to the letter and if you have trouble they have a FAQ section and even supply all the files you need.
QDLTool Visual Tutorials (for Windows only)
http://streakdroid.com/?page_id=92
In this second part all you have to do in general is set up all your needed drivers and stuff in windows then open the program and press RUN. Just make sure you do all the steps without missing one.
No need to go through the fastboot or recovery menu in this part.
And it gives you Full US version of android 2.2 from a locked version of Rogers android 1.6.
Hope this will help my fellow Canadian Streakers
Thanks for Taking time to do this for fellow streakers

No problem. It's my first one ever so i hope i passed to hole point and helped some (dell irritated) people.
Actually, all you need is the 2nd step - QDLTool doesn't require any specific version installed on the phone.
Glad you like the visual tutorials .. let me know if theres anything I can do to improve them.

ok i see i can upgrade to steve's 1.5.3 only thing is do i use the one with AMSS or the V2.1 baseband
I'm unlocking it with a Rebel simcard
In the guid (Beyond QDLTool) it says to use 1.5.3 + AMSS 1.5.1+. But i have read here and there that if your using the rebel simcard you have to use the No baseband one. So do i use the 1.5.3 no baseband and use the AMSS 1.5.1+ and follow all in the guide or do i juste use the 1.5.3 no baseband and skip the AMSS 1.5.1+ in the guide?

im not 100% but i think you just need to flash the no baseband version thats it , you could ask that in the thread for that rom just to be certain
Hey...I have the rogers streak and was wondering if I update to dj steve's custom rom will i run into issues when the actual Rogers 2.2 comes out? Will I be able to put the stock version back on? I am a bit worried for warranty purposes as well...can it be brought back to stock or is it a one way ticket? Reason I ask is I also have several phones including a Rogers Acer liquid e and unfortunetly can't go back to the stock version of froyo because of some thing Acer and Rogers did in the update that recognizes the fact my phone was rooted and not running a rogers baseband or something like that...I just sold my Galaxy s because I was sick of dealing with Samsung and their issues....So from what I can tell Rogers is only releasing the froyo update in late spring and 3-4 months is crazy considering most of the other countries already have froyo on their streaks...Man Rogers is so bad for their updates...Anyways...can i temporarily update to the leaked versions or should I wait? Thanks

you are correct. if you want to use the rebelsim, you HAVE TO use the no baseband version. 1.5.3 is the latest version

its true that u can qdl from any version though so I went straight from 1.6 to 2.2 prerelease then to 318 using the link in the streakdroid guide for beyond qdl

Thanks to the OP, I updated my Rogers Streak from stock 1.6 to 2.2 to StreakDroid 1.6 yesterday!
Despite my reservations, it couldn't have been easier. I used the QDLTool to jump from 1.6 to 2.2 directly, and I then followed the additional instructions on the StreakDroid site to flash the rom. The hardest part was installing ClockworkMod Recovery prior to all that to do a rom backup. For some reason it took many tries to get it to hold, but eventually it worked.
Unfortunately I may be in the minority but I dislike the new homescreen layout. I still haven't found a way to get icons and widgets to stay close together like they did in the stock 1.6 version.
Hi guys,
I guess i have bricked the device while updating to 2.2.
As far as i know i have done nothing wrong i followed the Guide step by Step and Downgrade to AT&T firmware as the first guide in this post.
While i was running QLDtool it errored out and Turned off by itself. After since i have tried everything and the Device just Doesn't have power anymore. Pluging into wall socket is not giving anything either.
Any thoughts on this?? Any Help will be appreciated.

from what i understand, you need a launcher that can let you edit the number or rows and columns on each homescreen, im currently using launcher pro and have 8 columns and 6 rows in landscape. hope this helps as im a new user too so not sure if this is what you meant

You're exactly right. I spent an hour reinstalling StreakDroid 1.6.0 with different DPI settings before giving up in frustration, but I found the settings menu for ADW the next day. I used a 6 x 6 grid and disabled automatic stretching, and that way my picture frames look perfect.
Great work on the rom guys! My Streak feels much more smooth and responsive than under stock 1.6.
Andy you shouldn't have a problem as long as you get a copy of the Update.pig you should be able to revert back.

Also check your density on the 1.6 streakdroid install. when i used us120 or denisty120- -160 they were to far apart. i also found that US180 didn't work the phone wouldn't boot. i had to use density180 vs us180 and everything is perfect. right amount of space. i installed just gingerbread stock launcher and im using the adw ex launcher its the best in my eyes.

Thanks...I still may wait though...I rooted my Acer liquid e and also just picked up a Samsung Captivate to play with and use as a back up..streak is so big...lol..nice to have a phone that fits in your pocket..... and since selling my GTi9000 i kind of missed it.....I love the streak and really don't want to void the warranty or better yet brick either...I am going to treat my captivate to the lagfix for now and maybe try gingerbread on my Liquid e...Been doing some reading and they are almost there...Still a few bugs however should not be long before they are worked out...As you probably noticed i love phones and have had like 30 phones in the last year...lol...Streak is my favorite so far...Have not touched my laptop much since i got it..Any news on when Rogers will come out with the official version of froyo? I read someone that April is the soonest? Anyone here anything else? I hope they come out with the update shortly ...otherwise I may be forced to root it...Any news would be appreciated..Cheers

Pull the battery out and put it back in.
If the streak looses power, it will be stuck in a power off state and plugging in the cord will do nothing.
After you reseated the battery, you should be able to charge the device again.
After it is charged, follow from where you left off.

how to root streak 2.2

I tried superoneclick 1.5.5 and 1.5.4, z4root isnt in market anymore. is there anyother way to root the streak. Im running froyo build 12792
Hey, I have the exact same issue here. I am also running froyo with the same build. My guess is that u got ur streak in the uk. Anyway, I have tried z4root and universal Androot. Heck, I even tried easy root. None of them worked at all. Been trying for months now, even almost bricked my phone the other day after following instructions on rooting with superboot. Haven't tried Superoneclick though. Was hoping that would have been my saving grace but now that u mention u tried it with no success in wonder how people have rooted their devices with froyo. Anyway, om me and I will email us the apps u want (z4root)and co but doubt it. Would work cos like I said, we have the same os and build running on our streak. Well, hope someone helps. Pm me if u find a cure for this and I'll do the same if I root my device first. Cheers, don't give up yet.

Idk what was donee differently. but i reformatted my computer last night andinstalled a fresh version of vista, had the windows updater run EVERYTHING. i had 165 important updates, lol, but these were updates from 2007 till now, and i ran superoneclick 1.5.5 and it stalled for a second on waiting for device ten continued. Good deal Thanks for the help.
I also have an UK Streak on O2 running Froyo build 12792, so I was disappointed after failing to find anything online about routing my device to then read this thread and see that you guys have been having difficulty too. I'm wondering if you've managed to root yours yet? If not; well I'm new to the fight so can certainly post anything here that I find if I manage to get anywhere.

[Q] Android Update on Samsung Galaxy S Wifi 4.0 (YP-G1)

Hi,
I just bought one Samsung Galaxy S wifi 4.0 and would like to know if anyone is aware of the possibility to upgrade the "default" Android version 2.2.2 (Froyo) to a newer one.
It seems that a couple of applications out there do not run on this version. For example NDrive 11 says its incompatible with this and a HTC running 2.3.4 is compatible. Maybe the version or something else?
I already ran Kies and it says the version 2.2.2 is the latest.
Thanks for all the help you can give me.
Regards.
I've seen a video (found through google) on the net where the galaxy s wifi 4 was running Android 2.3. But it was unclear which version and it was beeing said that it will be upgraded when they release it in the US. But with all that Apple patent struggle raging in the background, I guess it will be at least delayed. I got mine in Germany, though.
Sorry I can't help with your question but I wondered if I could trouble to share your experience of the Wifi 4? Especially in relation to it's value/worth as a media player?
I'm considering buying the 3.6 variant but I'd like to get as much information before I take the leap.
Thanks in advance.
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks
Moving to Q&A
any chance of running google voice on this via wifi for sms?
Got one today from best buy. Overall happy with it, but its a lot of money for what it is, especially considering the paltry 8gb of storage built in. If you add the cost of a 32 gig microsd card, its up over 250 bucks. The device is good, touchscreen is good.
Edit: It has gingerbread, and it runs very smoothly. Also has the real android market.
In my country, the Samsung galaxy S wifi 4.0 only comes with Froyo...I check with Samsung and was told that upgrades to Gingerbread are not available..
Any chances anyone know how to do it ourselves ?
cheers
Us Version with gingerbread
I've just seen on Engadget that the Galaxy S wifi 4.0 in the US is sold with gingerbread!! Any news about dumps or updates available?
Just updated to Gingerbread 2.3.5 with kies!

How did you upgrade it? I opened Kies and it says it is up to date (with FroYo).

Which version do you have? I've seen a post on w00t about how to flash a 2.3.5 ROM to the /TTT version.

I dont suppose you know what the link is to the w00t post?

Er, well, I guess I should have been more specific about that. Which model do you have? Not the android version(when you connect it to Kies, it should say it in parenthesis in the box where it says that you have the latest firmware). It'll be 3 letters.
As far as the link goes, I do have it, but I'm not allowed to post links yet, so I'll PM you it if I can. If not, I'll post it here eventually(when I get to 8 posts).

It looks as though it is for the G70 - the 5.0. I have the G1 - 4.0.
I think the info you are looking for is YP-G1CW/COO.
I picked it up a month or so back and now, apparently, I should have waited - I live in the US and now it seems that they are available with Android 2.3.5 already installed on them.
Thanks for any help you can be...if the G70 file will work, I will try to install that.

Ah, yeah, I forgot about that. Looking at the firmware that I know is available for the G1, I don't see any 2.3.5 firmware out there as of yet. I'll keep my eyes open though.

Do you see any firmware out there for the G1 that is higher than 2.2.2?
Do you know if the upgrade directions will be the same as the ones on W00t?

Don't know why, but my kies instead said that there was an update available.
Perhaps samsung release different updates in different countries.
My model is exactly: YP-G1CW/XEF

Anyone out there that reads this know how to decipher the model number?
More importantly, is there anyone that knows of any Android 2.3.5 ROMs that will work with the YP-G1?
Thanks to everyone out there...

I am in the US (Got my SGS WiFi 4.0 on eBay before I realized it was coming out in the US). Now, I want to update (NOT opposed to rooting) but the majority of the successes I have seen are for the 5.0 version (YP-G70).
Anyone got any suggestions or pointers for getting the update?
I have researched the model number I have and it appears that it is out in the UK and maybe Canada (among others). Would it be possible to maybe back up a YP-G1 that has a Gingerbread update and "restore it" onto mine?
Thoughts from developers?? Anyone??

[REQ] Spice Fire / Key XT311 / XT316 ROM dump.

Hello fellow Spice owners!
I'm working on developing some custom firmware for the XT300 and eventually the XT311/316, but to get started I need some ROM dumps.
Ideally I need a dump of both the 2.2 FroYo and 2.3 Gingerbread firmwares.
If you've never dumped a ROM before it's not too hard.
First you need a rooted phone. I don't have XT31x hardware yet, but SuperOneClick should work for the 2.2 ROM and there are detailed instructions for rooting 2.3 in the Q&A forum.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1218506
For the rest of the instructions, there is a simple to understand set of directions at M3.

Thanks in advance,
Martin

i could have given u a rom but i crashed mine, so i need as well a rom
its quite difficult to find Fire XT316 threads because of the lack of a own Forum section
-> a own Forum can be pushed here: Link vote +1
I doubt the XT311/316 will get a forum just yet, but I'm thinking maybe a unified XT300/311/316 forum maybe once we get some interest going with a ROM or two.

Then u would probably need to integrate the Fire XT531 as well.
=> Motorola Fire XT300/311/316/530/531 Forum
AFAIK, the XT530/531 are not very closely related to the XT3xx line. They mostly just seem to share cosmetic similarities with a different hardware platform.
Edit:
Ignore what I just said, upon further inspection they do appear to be related, just based on the newer/faster msm7227T SOC.
Looks like I've got another device to add to my list.

Just a side note, dont mess around with the vm heapsize, it made my spice go into a bootloop and i cant do anything with adb. had to send it in for repairs ):
What model spice? You could probably still have done a repair with RSD lite, asuming there is an SBF for your model.

the one in ur post didn't worked.
well i live in toronto and ive already boot looped it before and I STILL CANT FIND ANY SBF. theres none to be found and there arent any tutorials on how to extract the firmware into a sbf. sent it in for repairs already
Hey, I'm in Toronto too, lol.
You didn't answer my question as to the model.

I will update the OP with the link you provided, thanks.

By model what do you mean? Currently there are three (I think) different models, Canadian, Brazilian, and Chinese. I have the Canadian version but I got to borrow my friend N1 for now

xt300 like a boss I tweaked mine like crazy and eventually vm killed it. Have u ever found a solution to fix home screen redrawing when sliding the keyboard in/out?
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App
Yeah, tweak the hell outta mine too. I've actually changed the VM heap settings without tanking mine, btw, I do have a ROK dump already and backups that can be flashed with fastboot in case of emergency.
There is no publicly available SBF for us. Just the ones that the authorized Moto repair facilities have access to. Wish I could get my hands on that.
Sent like a Streak of Light from Spidey, my Dell Streak 5
I put my vm too low and started boot looping and it wouldn't respond to adb . What's a ROK dump? I wish we could get the sbf too..... Btw how much experience do you have with building roms? I concluded that I don't have enough experience plus the locked bootloader is really annoying.

Just found this
" Hi Xiao, I found a way to download the SBF file from Motorola for the Brazilian Rom, here it is: You need the Motorola Software Update (MSU) Any time after the MSU detect your IMEI number, Model Number and Operator, You need to reboot your phone and press and hold “Space” key, don’t close your MSU your phone will be in RSD/BOOTLOADER mode and the MSU will continue with the following message “The update process has been interrupted and must be restarted.” click Retry And it give you the SBF for your firmware. MSU will download the SBF file and put it in C:\Program Files\Motorola\Software Update\firmwares. it also created a file Retail – Brazil_Brazil_WCDMA_RETBRXT300WN.xml.msu who tell to motorola the file to download. As soon the file is download and the MSU prepare the installation it is important to copy the SBF to another location because it will be deleted when finished. Once you have copy the file you can stop the installation. Someone tried this with a Canadien rom but the MSU doesn't detect the Model Number and Operator."
could you give this a shot?
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App
Good ecfort!
Unfortunately I've tried it before, but it won't work. Motorola never released any Canadian SBF to the public update server as far as I can tell. They have two SBF servers. The "public" one which the Motorola Software Updated uses and the "private" one, which requires a secure authenticated session and is only available to authorized Motorola Service Centers.
Also, that was supposed to read "ROM dump"
I did a dump of my system, boot and recovery partitions. I've got them all in .img files which are flashable by fastboot.
Handy for recovering from a messed up build.
I've only ever built a few ROMs, but I think I can pull it off.
The plan is to start simple with trying to get FroYo from an XT316 to run on a XT300. The hardware is near identical, except for the upgraded CPU, so it should be simple.
Then on to an AOSP FroYo build. Eventually I'm going to try to get GB running too, but that might be too much for the limited hardware.
Of course, I'm stuck with the stock 2.6.29 kernel due to the bootloader lock, so no overclocking or kernel tweaks.
I'm also going to try and get an AOSP build done for the XT311/316 once I get my hands on the firmware.
Sent like a Streak of Light from Spidey, my Dell Streak 5
Darn..... well that's alright. When we get froyo its going to be so much better. I find that even after i removed the spicy.apk there were still lots of motorola stuff running in the background :/. When do you think you will have an experimental rom?
