i am looking for android builds that work flawlessly off the sd card with mgldr and wp7 in nand.
i have allocated 4 gb for my wp7 and 11 gb is fat32 for android.
i tried the mdj hd 4.6 with modded rootfs.img which worked fine at first but at my first reboot not its stuck at the white htc screen forever.
so basically i wanna know which rom works and that has been tested.
i tested mdj hd 4.6 which worked but not after a reboot.
and the desire_z rom i dont understand wich one works and wich doesnt. that developer just has too many to share and all need some work done to the rom in order to install it.
please help
There's a stickied thread at the top about getting builds to run... it has edited files needed for some of the builds in the first post. I have a bunch of working builds, too. What build do you want. I've gotten all to work that I've tried except phiremod final and darkstone sense.
Also, this is a development section, so this isn't the place for a thread like this... should be in q&a/general section or posted in stickied thread above. This section is for posting sd builds.

I've used Darkstone SuperRam 1.5 and it works flawlessly.
Refer to my singature on how to get things going. In summary, u would need wm65, run superam, flash magldr, booted wm7, partition like how u already did, modified some files and works flawlessly.
However i suffered from weird battery charge so i reverted back 2 wm6.5

There's no need to have to start with wm65, I got it working flawlessly without needing to start with wm... you just need to restart a couple times if it freezes. But once you get it going, it boots up everytime.

I came from the era where i already had it running from wm65.
I only wanted to suggest that to eliminate problems in between. If u wish to do direct boot up from wm7, that like u said will hiccup abit

I tried that rom but it just seemed to lag like hell. Even after a few reboots and after everything had finished sysncing etc. Every time I pressed a button or changed a screen etc it just seemed to lag behind and really got on my nerves.
Only other rom ive tried so far is te NexusHD2 1.8 with modded file and it works flawlessly as far as I can tell.
Gunna try a few others soon though.

but got it to work with active sync after i removed the sd card and doing a soft reset..
then i flashed a new one..
No problems here
I just had to verify that it couldn't be as bad as the above stated..
HardSPL 2.51 flashed from SDCARD.. worked like a charm.. quick and fast.
Will take the opportunity to go through this rom later.
I am at the moment very satisfied with the Energy Rom from 11 June

It appears you´re the only one with the bug so far , i have three friends with topazs i flash them today and no problems either, maybe your memory card is incompatable or the drivers for it isn´t in the rom...sorry bad luck!!!

No its not present,but it can be aranged, i´m uploading right now the same rom with the native voip on it!
click on download2 and follow the instructions!
the file is by the name RUU_Signed_0409_Voip_on.nbh
i like this rom really nice job no bugs so far and one thing i like a lot is my phone signal here in the uk seems to be much more stable than any other rom i have used, do you know why this may be would be interesting to find out. cheers for this rom love it

Well if you´re signal improved must be related with the radio you´re using and in combination with the version of the packs in the rom, cause i´ve done minimal tweaks, the normal that almost everyone does!

you are right seems to be a problem with youtube app, i´ll chek it out later!
if u don´t want to use Androkkid, there are two ways, go to "\\program files\"
delete folder Androkkid, next go to \\windows\startup\ , and \\windows\start menu\programs\ and delete Androkkid.lnk !
The other way is just to delete the \\windows\startup\Androkkid.lnk , it will prevent the program to run on start up!
Hello guys ! First, excuse me for my poor English and sorry if this problem have already been solved I searched before but didn't find exactly my problem.
I tried to boot Android (dcordes one) yesterday and my HD2 couldn't reboot.
So I flashed Artemis v22 and it booted, but my HD2 was very long to boot. So I imported my contact & cie and then play around whit it (installing CHT, Themes...)
But like 1 hour after, many apps stop to function and force me to reboot my device.
I reboot it and it takes like 5 minutes to boot... Once it's done, my HD2 show me again the tutorial about how to type, and to configure my email, facebook, twitter & cie.
I tried to flash Artemis v15 or v18 but I get the same problem...
And this problem happened right after I tried Android.
Did I screw my processor ? Or is it just one app that cause the problem ?
If anyone have a solution, i'm listening .

Orrrrr... realize that this is still heavily in development and that it cannot, I repeat, C A N N O T be used yet.
Task29 your HD2, flash a new rom and leave Android alone until we have a stable port.

Yeah, I understand that... Believe me, as both a Windows Mobile & Android developer, I would love nothing more than to have both on my phone (for testing, of course... ). However, this is still really early in development and until a stable build comes out, there is too much risk and seriously bricking your device... Just a word of caution.

You are so right Dotnetguyaz. The idea of running Android and WinMo together is really exciting but till the stability of port is not achieved, caution is our friend.

Just grab the youtube apk from a Cyanogen or Enomther ROM (or any ROM with youtube integrated) and install the apk from the sd card.

i wiped everything.. installed the .zip.. and when the boot animation comes up, after awhile the "shining" stuff that goes across android stops in the middle and starts over...? is that a boot loop?
For the record i dont make roms! I downloaded this rom from miui.com and added the english pack and the old market since the new market wouldnt download for me. I have been using it and so far only thing that doesnt work for me is the Theme Downloader. Try it out and let me know if it works for you. I have only tried it with Magldr but the rom comes with a SD rootfs.img too so it should work. Someone check the data i use a mifi for my mobile net so im not sure if it works or not. Enjoy
Data is confirmed working! This rom is Android 2.2.1 using warrens 2.6 kernel.
UPDATE - Ok i added an updated 1.2.19 version which fixes the force close when setting wallpapers and the new market is back and working. MIUI 1.2.25 has dropped now and 3dak has released an sd version already.

Confirmed, Data and Wifi is working.
ROM running fast, stable. Some errors such as not setup themes from the home screen (force close).
just use the theme manger i believe to setup wallpapers and themes. and i am glad to see data works in the build like i said i use a mifi for mobile net and i couldnt test.
I am current trying the 18-12 and 24-12 build, both work fine except the 24-12 build can't download app from market. I have tried all the method shared in forum and still the same. The GTalk is not ale to sign in too....
is this build having app not able to download from market issue?

this build can download from the market because i swapped the newer market out with the old market. and gtalk seems to work fine too.
i have had the phone unplugged for over 18 hours and i am at 5% battery left so the battery life is ok for anyone wondering.

It's a miui build... I believe miui still uses froyo base, but I could be wrong. And no sense... it's miui. That's the type of build it is.

I added a new version that fixes the fc on the wallpapers and adds the new market. and since 1.2.25 is out now im gonna go test 3daks version see how that runs.

There is already a folder with the file you need to boot with magldr included with the build, and it worked for me to boot with magldr.
Good build, haven't had any problems. Thanks to OP for posting. Great to see more miui sd builds being posted here with at xda.
I've got the classic robo voice in this one. Also one song has been playing since I got a vm and it's on repeat... lol
I even deleted the song, but it's still playing. I'll have to fix it when I get home from work.
So I purchase the app yesterday and so far is working great is a good concept for those that like ASOP roms but dont want to give up the 3D feature...

Nah it basically just makes imgs on your sdcard and creates file systems on it then the rom is extracted to the imgs and the boot.img of the rom is edited to tell what to mount. That's the basic idea but it's obviously a lot more complicated then that.

honestly you guys are doing a great job but I got a question why when i try to change the rom display picture it force close also i try installing warm two pint tree and get a error with the boot image

Gonna say you're using miui when you go to switch the image we've already found that miui gallery handles things different/weirdly it's been fixed for a while now and is in the next update we've just been wrapped up in this other app we're working on. We plan to release next week and then we'll be working on a tool box for Sourcery ROM which is coming soon to the gnex and i originally did with eagle1967 on the droid1. Anyway hopefully we'll have the fix out for miui gallery very soon just been really busy for now just boot to another rom that isn't miui and change the image there.
Also let me know if it's not miui gallery although i'd be surprised if it wasn't

As for the class 4 card i only run sd roms lately and i'm using a class 2 card and heck if i can run one of these roms on a class 2 card and not complain about speed you should be golden on a class 4 the only thing that matters is finding your sd booster speed once found you should be able to run smoothly on any card
Ok so bootmanager and the roms have been working well on my 32gb class 4 card, but I ran into an issue. I have
Phone Rom: CleanRom 3.0 Preview 1
Rom 1: MIUI (latest version since this post)
Rom 2: decks ICS 1-6-07
When I boot into Decks ICS, I cannot boot back into another rom with BootManager it just keeps saying "Unfortunately, Boot Manager has stopped".....How do I boot back into the phone rom ?

Sorry thats what I meant to say, I am using BootManager to boot between roms. I am currently in Decks ICS rom and trying to boot into the phone rom with BootManager and it give me the error....i'll fix my original post.

Use to happen to me, not anymore though. When it did, I would just reinstall it, problem solved.
My setup:
PhoneRom: CleanROM DE 2.0
Slot 1: Cyanogen 7.1
Slot 2:Evervolv ICS p6
Slot 3:Mikrunny 1.02 (Has not booted, something wrong with sense 3.5?)
Slot 4: CleanROM De 1.3, from awhile ago, haven't chosen what to replace it with

in the market video like at the end of the video he show you how to go back to the phone rom if boot manager doesnt do it for you...

Just go into recovery, install zip, go to boot manager folder, choose phone ROM, then flash the .zip inside it

Yes exactly please read the manual or at least watch the tutorial video it'll save everyone time ha but anyway yea uninstall and reinstall the app in that slot that should fix that
