[Q] Show Lotus Notes Calendar on Android Calendar - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi.
I use Lotus Traveler to show my work mail and calendar. For my personal activities I use Google Calendar.
The problem is that I cant seem to be able to show them both in the same app. I know it is possible to sync the Lotus Calendar with my Google Calendar, but this has to many drawbacks so no thanks.
Does anybody know any app that allows me to import Lotus Calendar, multiple Google Calendars and show them both in a monthly view?
-Tom

I don't think this is exactly what you're looking for, but this is what I use:
http://lngooglecalsync.sourceforge.net/

Thanks. The problem with that is that calendar entries added to lotus notes on my phone wont display untill I turn on the computer and sync them. Plus the security issues with giving google access to my work calendar...
Just want an overview so that I can see all entries at once without sync..

Did anyone found a way to get all calendar entries from Lotus traveler(sync) inside android calendar without using any pc software?

[Q] Sync outlook calender & contacts with Google

Hi everybody,
I'm still struggling to sync my outlook calender and contacts with google. How you do it?. Anybody here has the solutions please share it with me.
Ans - Sync outlook calender & contacts with Google
Hi, you need GoogleCalendarSync_Installer.exe to sync outlook calender & contact with Google. There is a few option to select.
#1
2 ways - Syn both your Google calender events and Microsoft Outlook calender with each other.
#2
1 way Google Calender to Microsoft Calender - Syn only your Google calender events with Microsoft Outlook calender.
#3
1 way Microsoft Outlook Calender to Google Calender - Syn only your Microsoft Outlook events with Google calender.

From what I have read so far, there is no easy way. It seems this is not a priority for Google. The google software mentioned in another reply only syncs the calendar, not contacts.
A third party software called Companion Link seems to have gathered to most satisfied users. $40.
You can try this for free:
http: sourceforge.net/projects/googlesyncmod
or
http: code.google.com/p/gcontactsynch
Once I get my Streak working, I'll the free ones a shot.
If not, I'll pay the 40. I'm spolied by MobileMe's ability to have you update calendar or contact and have it sync to Outlook automatically.

[Q] syncing contact's birthdays calendar with google

in Google Contacts, i have activated the "Contact's Birthdays and Events" calendar. while i can use this calendar for example in Thunderbird or even the old mobile, the calendar won't load in the SGS2's calendar app - it is not even listed as calendar at all.
some calendar widgets from the market do list the birthday calendar as "inactive", which probably means that it's currently not synced. other Google Calendars like "Week Numbers" work just fine, so it seems that the birthday calendar is not synced on purpose. from reading forum posts, it also seems possible to use this calendar in other android devices...
has anyone found a way to get the birthday calendar to work with the SGS2?

[Q] Google Calendar Sync

I have Google Calendar Sync to sync my outlook calendar with my work google calendar. I shared my work google calendar with my personal google calendar. This way I can setup my appointments in Outlook and see them on my android phone. This was working before!
The scheme is this: outlook calendar -> work google account -> personal google account -> android phone. Now I can see the events in my personal google account but this events does not sync with android phone. If I resave the event on web google calendar then it is synced with android phone. If I create event in my work google account it syncs again.
But If I use outlook to create event it does not sync. Very strange problem!
If someone have a solution I will be appreciated.
I now use CM7, before with Stock Legend Rom it was synced succesfully
Since Microsoft directs both Microsoft Office and Windows Live Calendar, a Windows Live ID could fluently unify both services and have them sync under the same banner.
With that said, Android's support of Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync also works for calendars. Connect that service to your phone and it should work great (and my experience, works better).
Sent from my HTC Legend using XDA App
I'm also using Google Calendar Sync (0.9.4.1) and it works. I put a meeting in Outlook and in short time appears on the phone...also when creating the event from phone, it appears in Outlook.
Make sure you have the sync "2 ways" selected in Google Calendar Sync options.

[Q] Jorte: Calendar without Google not working

1. What I want, is an offline calendar app. So tried Jorte but I cannot sync with it. First of all, I am not using any apps for which I need a google acc. So the standard installed calendar app is not configured atm. When using Jorte I can add events and so on but I cannot use the option select calendars. It's simply gray.
My sync tool (MyPhoneExplorer) seems to somehow sync all thunderbird events to the standard calendar database (true? at least they show up nowhere)
Ok so here's question: How do I sync my events with Jorte?
2. Or do you have any suggestion for a different offline calendar application?

[Q] Recommendation for a Calendar App without Google?

I would like to try Android without GAPPS, and now I am looking for a calendar app which does not rely on the Google Calendar.
This is not an issue of using the built-in calendar app without syncing to Google, but the use of Android without even using a Google account.
Can anyone recommend a suitable app, if it even exists?
i use biz calender that lets you sync with any account google, microsoft, yahoo ect
I like Pocket Informant.
I forgot to mention, I don't really want to sync the calendar at all, but just want to use it on the phone.
The calendar should be able to handle normal appointments, birthdays and anniversaries with reminders in advance, a nice desktop widget would be nice as well.
Any more ideas?
