[Q] iOS on X10 - XPERIA X10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
Does anybody know about installing iOS on the X10? My mate probably can get the rom image and we would like to try it on to see what it can do or maybe upload it and these guys can work on it,but I don't think this is an aosp..
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

How is the ios rom different from the public firmware?
If the ios is crack that be a dream come true, no reason to buy 800$ phone when you can get a 100$ android plus external space. But that's only a dream
Sent from my SE_X10i using Tapatalk

The closest thing you will get is miui rom.
Sent from my X10i TripNMiUI using Tapatalk

ios sucks.... I don't understand why people even like it

cos it's simple... (make your own mind up about the people who might like the fact that it's simple!)

Maybe its possible....if u r able to crack the I
os and make a flshable zip,i will b the 1st 1 to test it ;-)

Hmm I'm not longer interested on this crazy idea.Anyway I think MIUI is way better than this..

I think that you can port sense 2.1 (only) from Legend (maybe), read: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=629693
Oww There,.. i would be cool if anyone made a sense rom for the optimus,
even the cheap x8 has a froyo sense rom :c
if x8 has sense then we can get sense.
i will read up on it
@pashinator isn't better to port MIUI rom??
Godness Yes,

Woohoo, Awesome,z but i still don't think he would help us xD
Would you like a port of sense of miui?
im asking other devs allready where they got their sources and im really confident to get this to work.
i don't really think, that a super rom like miui would make it to the optimus,..
but sense would, i can even run sense on my blackstone,
so i don't see a problem there,..
Impossible is nothing my friend who ever in the wildest of dreams wudve thought that we will have stable gingerbread on our phones?
We can try our best to do it
Although I don't know any programming yet I'm going to do Informatics next term so I might know atleast something then so till then I'm a programming noob

Help for Sense Legend Porting.

Hello everyone, I plan to bring the Stock ROM 2.2 of HTC Legend on our LG Optimus ONE, the ROM in question is this:
http://forum.xda-evelopers.com/showthread.php?t=866849
But I need assistance, advice and suggestions.
I appeal particularly to "racht", user who brought the Sense on SE Xperia X8.
Thanks
Hmmmmmm , why ....?
Because,it is very in demand from the users, and I like it a lot.
Not only for her beauty, but also for the personalization brought by HTC.
Please helped me.
No u can just try and port the theme alone?
Who are those , oh so many users ? I swear to god , this is the first time I see a thread for such a request for P500 . I mean , if it was 2 months ago I would understand , but now when Gingerbread development is rocking ahead and also we have an estimate ETA for official Ginger , why would anyone want a crummy ROM from a HTC which would take a lot of time to port .
As CC said just get a theme with SENSE like look , I think there was one using Launcher PRO that appeared this week . Just search for it and then patiently wait for gingerbread awesomeness
Please inform if you are going to develop or are just asking to.
Has i will move the thread if this is only a ask.
Cheers
I' m going to develop.
@remix96
I would surely be interested in such a port
+1 for it.....
from what I read in other parts of the forum, you cannot easily port a Sense rom because something about lacking the rosie framework
not 100%right/accurate just what I remember reading
+1 i love sense

As you can see im my previous screenshot, they said that there's a change to port it to our OO. Maybe if you gentlemen go and ask for it on their chat, we can have it sooner. We are a great community, let's spread the word and let it happen!
me tooo.....
I've talked with a nice guy on MIUI official chat, and he said me that we have to do the same thing developers did with the porting of the CM7. Since MIUI is not for our OO we have to "take" the version of the MIUI taken from a cell with similar specs, and then cook our ROM. So we need some cool guy that will do it for us. Sure we can be all betatester, but we need developers. Any suggestions?
Thanks, and sorry for my poor english
the apk graphics have been ported to MDPI (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=858935) , so i guess this would be a good starting point.

[Q] Is it possible to have an "Miui ICS Rom" on ours Galaxy Tab 10.1

All is in the title.....
Is it possible to have an Miui ICS Rom on ours Galaxy Tab 10.1 ?
What, and have it looking EVEN MORE LIKE AN iPAD ???
You might as well sell your Galaxy Tab and really buy into the fanboi market.
if u were having a gingerbread or honeycomb and u would have demanded for miui it was acceptable...but ICS seriously? come on
Thanks for yours answers but there are not kindly at all. !!!!!! But it was just a question..... I dont like Apple and i like so much Android that's why i always take Android on every phone, i'll buy in the future..... But i like Miui customisation and not IOS like !!!!!!

Im on your side. Once you start to use miui and the more you use it, the less ios it is. It's really just a clean, fast and well built rom.
I ran miui on my desire hd untill it lost a fight with a cup of coffee!!
I for one would give it a go on my tab.
I know some devs were working on it for the nook color. So its still liked by many.
I'm still partial to Task ROMs on my tab though.
Sent from my GT-P7510 using one stinky finger.
Iam also a miui fan with ics - currently running it on touch hd and it is a dream. Not sure where ipad corrolation comes in. Great rom all round and would love to see it on my tab
Thanks you all !! I see that i'm not alone and that everybody haven't a "closed spirit".... I don't know if i can say it like that. Sorry for my poor English.
I would love to see it!
I do kind of prefer MIUI for it's simplicity and easy customization, not in for the whole iOS look but it beat's the whole ugly look that the stock firmwares have.

[Q] Sony Xperia S (LT26i) will ever get MIUI?

Does anybody knows if there are plans to port MIUI on Xperia S?
I even don't know what's the official way to promote a multiple request to Xiaomi.
Shoud be nice to have the amazing MIUI operating system on our same amazing LT26i!! Don't you think?
Kind regards.
First we need CM rom as a base then I will try to port MIUI
I didn't know that MIUI still needs CM. I tought that was necessary just in the MIUI early development...
In any case thanks for the kind reply, and let's hope to have a stabile CM on LT26 soon
miui
really looking forward to miui. When it has come ROM
I think porting MIUI V4 is really easy if you have got a stable CM9,so it won't take long.
But I think MIUI would be not as nice on the Xperia S,since most themes are for HDPI Screens, not for XHDPI,so it might not look as good.
someone will develop one after a stable cyanogenmod 9,just wait
i see MIUI rom on my friend SGS2. i admit it, im reaaly jeaolus.
MIUI sleek UI will be a perfect match with xperia s design. MIUI please come to xperia s

I have installed Miui on a Nexus s that i have, but i must tell you that the battery life is not so great. If it will be a Miui version for the Xperia S it will be like a vampire for this smartphone because Xperia S is not so famous about his battery life anyway so imagine if you put Miui on it ... Nice interface but horrible battery life.
will someone help to port it. i'm really can't wait >.<

I cant wait for this. I've been using MIUI on my ArcS and now that I have an Xperia S, my android experience seems lacking without MIUI.
First we need a stable CyanogenMod rom

Any official way to suggest Xperia S to MIUI developers?
Do you know an official way to post our interestingness to MIUI developers?
It's obvious that more we are, more they take us in consideration.
So let's take this thread up, guys ;-)
ps: I still use MIUI on my Defy, and it is faster than most recent phones.
ps2 for who wrote about battery: The battery life is never absorbed by an OS! Is always absorbed by a bad configuration!!

To port MIUI, even MIUI devs need a working AOSP device tree. This is unlikely to happen before official ICS is released.

Can't we just port a Gingerbread version of MIUI to the XS? Does it have to be the v4 version?
