hi guys i m surfing internet for week and not get any idea about how to change selection colour in my gt540 is there any way to that or not . Is there any app for that. please help.

I have android 2.1 stock rom.
I dont think you can Change selection color on stock theme. There are programs to change using recovery or on 2.3 using theme chooser maybe some one else knows or just google it

ok i flashed android 2.3.4(cyanogenmod 7.0.3) . so, with it ho i can change only selection without changing anything else( like icons and all that). please help. thanx in advance.....

Then you need metamorph app to edit what you want from the phone ill provide you a link when i get to the pc .

I can if you know how to integrate/add files to your framework-res.apk. It cannot be done with MetaMorph tho.
Is there a guide or something I can follow and achieve it? Or could u give instructions on how to?

Sure, there are several guides and HOWTOs on XDA (Chef Central, Desire Development...) on how to theme, repack, sign and everything. There are even several tools available that let you do all these steps in one swoop. I'm sorry but I can't guide you through all of that but if you have a will to do it, you will find a way through, of that I'm sure.

You have to decompile, edit and recompile classes.dex in services.jar. BTW it needs to be deodexed. It will be included in B 0.2.

I can't use this theme the way it IS, but using this theme icons, there is a way to mod it to use in CM7, I just don't know how to do it.
Maybe I can do my best to port it to a CM7 Theme!

Man I tried to edit an xml, but no success, the program that I used was XML Marker, but when I open the xml file, I cant edit the file, because it is a mess..
Anyway, heard that there is an app to resign apks, its called zip signer 2, I'm without internet on phone, this is why i didn't tried..

I just tried it with APK manager but after Decompiling the apk and editing the .xml's I can not compile it!
At the moment I do not know how to solve it.

Hi im trying to change the background image in the phone settings.
My search results have lead me to changing to images...
framework-res.apk/res/drawable hdpi and change>>semc_bg.png and semc_general_bg.png
However when push back to phone nothing changes...
I pull framework back from phone to check to see if the images were defnitly changed, and they were.
Any help would be great thnx..

I was wondering if anybody knew how to change the fonts.zip I have from the Evo 4G but its telling me that this recovery does not let me use it.
Also there is another 2 fonts I wanna change but I dont think I can put them here so if anyone knows please PM me
The font changer app worked for me had a problem with reboot (pulled battery hit power button and BAMM new font. Hope this helps =]

Which recovery is that youre using?
it says its 3.0 recovery and the .zip is signed diferently something like that. lol
i suggest you use the font changer app from the market.. when i tried to flash a font pack it didnt take.. most likely do to different file structure.. so unless u know how to change the path the zip installs to use font changer...
like someone said above it will hang when it says its rebooting just pull battery and all is well... currently using darkstar coconut font
