My question is if could someone overclock our cpu's with OC kernel used con CM7 and run ubuntu with 1.5 GHz cpu.
If it becomes possible, i apreciate so much if someone write a How To.

Hey everyone, I'm new to the Forum, as you can see
I have been looking to overclock my x10 but I'm not sure f it's even possible as all the applications I've seen or installed personaly (not saying they don't exist) haven't been able to go above the 1GHz Processor the x10 has. If one does exist, could someone please, please, please kindly point me in the right direction? And if they don't exist, let me know?

J's 2.3.3 CM7 has a kernel with oc to 1.113GHz, but the kernel isn't fully working, I think soon we'll have fully working cutom kernels with oc for the X10
all we need are "time" )

Seems it work with the new 4.0.5 rooted version.

Just don't create such type of threads.....why dont you use the SEARCH!!!???? It just increases the work of moderators...I'm not criticizing but just an advice.... :laugh:
Download the .587 ftf and extract it. Then just flash the kernel.sin, this will work :good:
By the way you can't overclock if have a locked bootloader. Unlock it for overclocking, but oc can cause a burned cpu!

I've searched the entire forums and through what felt like 1mio. websites from Google, all lead to a dead end.
I was wondering if there is a way to decompile zImages. I found a program by Azuzu, but the link was dead and the program itself was for Windows.
Before you ask: I've got a device, where the Android has not yet been let loose, it's being kept in a cage, and I want to at least have the freedom to overclock the 1GHz slow CPU.

can anyone make an oc kernel? the A10 and A20 have the same soc (7885 renamed and underclocked for 7884)
