Htc Hero Update To 2.0 Greece

I have an Htc Hero with 1.5 Android and i woulid like to know if the Htc will give us the update to 2.0.
Some roms in this site work stable or beta? I use Android for first time and i dont know how to use it.
I mean that in Windows Mobile some 6.5 roms are beta because Htc dont have update the official rom for example in Htc Tytn 2.
Is it good for me to flash a 2.0 rom from this site or i will have problems?
just check the first post of the respective rom thread to see what is not working (usually camera, bluetooth etc.). if that is a problem or not is your decision

HTC Hero Have Flash Why We Dont ?

hey i saw the htc hero playing flash on adobes website now i want to know why it dosent support my p500 coz the hero is slower as our phone.
is there no way we can create our own flash plugin , like the guys have done for the iphone ?
From Wikipedia: "Notably, it (HTC Hero) is the first phone of that series to feature a 3.5 mm audio jack, multi-touch capability, the HTC Sense user interface, and a "Lite" version of Adobe Flash."
There is flash lite for Optimus One too, not official trough (Look here). Developers reported flash support in CyanogenMod 7 for P500 (Alpha), but don't flash CyanogenMod 7 to your phone as it is only for development and beta testing purposes for now.
thx for the quick answer , but i read i think 2 H ago that adobe did make a 10.1 Update for the hero i really hope in someway we can get it to run on our phones too.

Android Market 2.3+

Hi,
Looking for Android Market 2.3 , to Android 2.2 (cm6, wolfbreak) - is available at all? Where can I get?
I don't see the difference apart from that you would be unable to use those 2.3 exclusive apps.
I want to buy premium Wifi Manager, in application is the button to purchase. The author replied to me that Android Market is needed in version 2.3 + which is supposed to be available for Android 2.2, but I can not find it ..

[Q] Cyanogenmod 6.1, Froyo and Baidu Input

I'd like to try BaiduInput (Chinese handwriting among other input modalities on my G Tablet running Cyanogenmod 6.1.0-Beta4-Harmony and Froyo 2.2.1) but the program is not available on Google Market despite it states it is compatible with Android 1.6 forward.
I do have it running on my Google Nexus phone running Android 4.2 where it works nicely. I do have the Google Pinyin IME keyboard installed on both the G Tablet and the Nexus phone, it works nicely on both but does not offer handwriting input.
Does anyone have Baidu Input running? Thanks.
You could install ES File Explorer (from the market or internet) on your Nexus phone and make a backup of BaiduInput.apk (or whatever it is called). Then transfer it to the Gtab (using bluetooth or a PC) and install. No guarantee the app will work on the Gtab, but it might.
About your Gapps question in another thread, they should update through the market to the latest version available. You are running a Froyo build, which is old, so there probably haven't been any updates to it's version of Gapps in quite a while. If you want to use the newer versions, you will probably have to update to a newer rom/android version.

I do have ES File Explorer installed on my Nexus phone and will try your suggestion. Thank you.
As for updating to a later ROM, I would love to but last I checked - which is quite some time ago - there were no Tegra 2 drivers for the G tablet supporting later ROMs, thus adversely affecting speed.
Perhaps that has been corrected? If so, what would you suggest I update to (that is stable, works well etcl)?

Bought advantage over KitKat?

Hi, I have a touchpad running KitKat. I wonder what are the advantages of nouget has over KitKat?
It all depends on how the Tablet will be use for.
Eventually newer Apps will not be supported on older Android version, it will end up similar as WebOS. A great OS but with limited updated Apps.
Follow this guide to have a faster tablet and select any desire ROM:
