yes, works great.
with actual version i get FCs after screen off. doesnt matter which settings i set.
an older version works fine for me.

i restore mine over from sgs, i remember it worked fine.
last few days there was an update in the market, iirc. that also worked fine.

Didn't work in my case...
BUT!:
When i use an icon on the desktop or in notification bar, it works. But i have combined it with a swype option in Go Launcher Ex. When i swype up, the App is launched, the screen turns off, 2 seconds after that, he turns on again and [email protected]
So i dont think its a GoLauncher Problem, hm?

Tried to connect a minimalistic text widget with screenlockanddonate.main activity. Same result

That's strange!
I just installed the GO Launcher EX using default settings and without any theme on my Nexus S, everything is fine. Also, I tried to use minimalistic text widget to launch Screen Off and Lock and found no problem. However, you use select "com.katecca.screenlockanddonate.MainHelper" instead of "com.katecca.screenlockanddonate.main", otherwise force close is expected.
It is also fine by using gesture in my ADWLauncher. So if you are free, could you please try to install other launchers to test it or send me the log using catlog for debugging?

In Go Launcher Ex i can only select the whole App. There it crashes.
In MinimalisticText i can select an Activity of an App. When i use MainHelper instead of Main, everything is fine.
So it's fixed and working with minimalisticText, which is ok for me.
I will talk to GoLauncher Devs to make activities selectable.

been a while, but i think you go to the home screen, hit menu, edit
it should zoom out and show previews of the windows with an "X" icon on the upper corner. form there you should be able to delete and add screens.

How can i totally disable any lockscreen on the rezound? I use widgetlocker but after a restart the sense lockscreen always comes up until widgetlocker loads up. I tried a few no lock apps on the market and nothing seems to work.

you are going to have to use a app called Titanium backup (might have to pay for the pro edition but it is worth it) or something similar to this, but i recommend this app. Then go to backup/restore then freeze "Default lockscreen"

I renamed both fusion.apk and htclockscreen.apk to .bak and still nothing. Kinda frustrated lol.

Yes. I just removed all those apks. We shall see what what happens.
EDIT: just rebooted and now have the aosp lockscreen. I did a google search and i guess i cant do this. It has to do with the android.policy.jar.
Did you try freezing Idlescreen_Base.apk and see what that does?

I used to use THIS when I wanted to not have a lockscreen. I haven't tried it on the Rez, but I would assume it would work. Might as well try that.

I deleted most of those idlescreen.apks and it seemed to do the trick as far as removing the sense lockscreen. But now im stuck with a blank screen until widgetlocker loads up. Cannot acess my homescreen until then either.

Thanks i tried that today, doesnt work.
I also have this problem on my EVO 3D. Cant disable that darn lockscreen for widgetlocker instead. And I really hate it when i'm using poweramp via lockscreen. I turn on my evo to change a track and the sense lockscreen appears and then it loads the poweramp player with widgetlocker.
I used to use a dialer code to disable the lockscreen in my Droid Charge (when NONE of the no-lock apps worked.
I don't remember the code offhand as I like the sense lock & have no reason to disable it.
I would love to be able to disable lock screen myself. does anybody have any ideas regarding this process?

I just used NoLock. It breaks on reboot, but I guess that's okay because I don't reboot all that much. Plus, it's kindof cool because I can PIN or password or Pattern lock the phone easily if I want, yet still have the ability to keep apps from screwing up when I turn off the display.
Nothing worse that losing a GPS lock when you need directions and don't know where to turn next. Not to mention lots of other apps that you have to reload when have to unlock...
NoLock, works perfectly for me, even after reboot. I also deleted the sense lock screen. I don't use any lock screen at all though, I like to go straight to home screen.

Yes, and because I run expanded desktop all the time I had to tweak the settings even further by unticking translucent status bar/nav bar. I really like the app!

Just as title states I'm missing an option in the settings, I had it on my previous Mate 20 Pro and my replacement doesn't have it. It was the option to turn the screen on when a notification comes in, I can search the settings and find it but selecting it takes me to some settings option without it. Screenshots attached to show.

Spot on! Thanks, I changed my lockscreen style the other day and that's what's done it! Crazy that changing a style disables a feature!

i noticed there is another missing option in settings, specifically the Appgallery assistant.

Just checked mine and mines there. Maybe there's an update for the app, try checking in the Huawei app store.

I'm on the latest firmware (. 126) and I have tried to check huawei's appgallery app for any updates.
So far still can't figured out why the app assistant is missing.

You're on a different version to me anyway, I'm on .122 (LYA-L09 model).
Weird, sorry I can't think what else to try other than a factory reset as last resort.

Open the 'themes' app, go to 'me' then select customise, that will give you the option to change the 'Lock screen style'.

When I installed my favorite launcher, I found out, that there is no possibility to set/keep it as standard.
In app management>default app the content for Homescreen is missing ....
Got the latest ColorOS update.

Strange, I have the home screen option in default app settings as attached.
I would suggest install some other launcher and click home, it will ask you to choose which should be default as checkbox, choose your fav launcher and uninstall the other launcher.

Did you try installing some other new launcher and try to click home button which should ask what launcher to use, there you can see check box always use the same launcher.

Yes, I did. When I then click the home button it asks me whether I want to set the new launcher as standard launcher - so far ok. When I then click yes, then I get the screen with "standard home app" saying "no app"

Can you try installing QuickHomeSwitcher and see if it shows other launchers for you to select.

Thank you, I tried the app, but whenever I open it, it's not going to open but switches immediately to the first screen (Homescreen) of the oppo Reno standard launcher.
What I do now is, I start my favorite launcher and it runs like a normal app. To keep it open, I always have to switch back to it in the recent app list. When I end/kill it, then of course I get the standard launcher Homescreen back.
Very strange for me too, I have been working with many smartphones yet, also rooting and flashing things forwards and backwards but not yet encountered a problem like this

i have the same problem but i remember when i received it i could choose the default app to open word excel and pdf files then i did the latest update which is PCRM00_11_A.29_6423cd33 and now i can choose the defaut for message, phone, browser, camera, photos, music and video that all

it's really weird, i managed to add the line for the pdf when installing mixplorer but not for the homescreen. I sent an email to the assistance of my country I will see if they have a solution although the phone is not for my region.
