i use the kitchen 1.63 to customise my zte blade rom ,but when add the support of data/app functionity ,it shows successfull and also create a new data on working folder ,so i copy some of the need *.apk to the data /app folder ,then bulding new rom throght kitchen 1.63 .after ok ,i flash it ,but no my adding app run after i flash the rom by kitchen ,
could someone tell me why ? what the problem happen in my step ?
dsixda ,can you tell me why ? can you help me ?
is any boday ,here ,who can help me ?

Can someone please guide me how to convert the SYS folder,used in ervius kitchen,in BUILD OS KITCHEN's SYS folder.I have used one tool Convert_Sys.but it failed to convert dpi96 and dpi_resv folders.
any help will be highly appreciated.

Are you trying to convert from a dumped SYS or one that has the Ervius Kitchen folders (shared and dpi folders)??
If you are going from EK to old style kitchen, then simply copy all the folders from within the shared and dpi folders into a folder called SYS. so shared\common and shared\0409 (for WWE) contents and dpi_96\common and dpi_96\0409 contents, etc into the SYS folder and then it can be used in the old style kitchen.
I hope this has answered your question and not confused the matter

but the point is,i had been doing the same as u said.but when the BuildOS runs...it stops and the error report says "the file 'temp\dump\_skip' already exists.
when i removd all the _skip files from all the folders,it complets the run.but the rom doesnt boot.and stops at start.
can u plz tell me,what can be the problem.

in sys folder seach _skip file and delete all files, in old stile kitchen yuo dont need of they

When i delete d _skip files,the rom doesnt work.it goes up to showing the details of radio and rom version,and thats all.it doesnt go beyond that.what should i do?

It may be your XIP(ROM), not the SYS. Yes you would have to remove the _skip files, as they are only for the EK setup. I used to use the BuildOS up until Insomnia 2.xx, then I switched to the EK and found it so much easier to build a ROM.
How are you porting the XIP??

I also use ervius kitchen only.Just was trying the OS kitchen.I use mreloc for xip porting.eveything seems normal,but the rom doesnt boot boss.will have to give up the OS kitchen, i guess.
can u plz guide me how can i port the xip properly.

i have idea for add other language from original rom to cooking rom like example Megatron-v1 .
i mean some cooking rom build on original rom Does not contain all languages and for example " Megatron-v1 " Does not contain the Arabic language and Hebrew, because these reason some body like me you can't Benefit from these rom or other..
i have original rom contain Arabic language i was extracted system file and i have unziped or uncompressed " Megatron-v1 " also contain system folder ...
my idea it's copy the language files from original rom to cooking rom after these make the cooking rom zip file and install on phone ....
i am do Something like these but dos not work ..because i don't have a lot of experience to do that for these i would share you my idea to help me how can Add other language to cooking rom ....

" megatron - v1 " look what i do ...
I've copied these files from the ROM containing the Arabic language in order to add this to the "rom" the tow file from system/lib, libskia.so and libwebcore.so
copy and replace with the original files in megatron rom ..then i am copy framework file from system/framework and replace with original framework file in megatron but when make check update script file from kitchen i have 1 issue in the script the issue it's " error in overwrite or something like these , i am do more tries but i need help you , I do not know the way of writing and the amendment to script
pleas Any proposal to help if possible.

Hey guys plz help me, requesting all senior and junior members..
So i had started cooking a ROM using ervius kitchen, i involved in cooking becoz there was a rom that work perfect on my Gene but it had a camera problem so i decided to recook it and to change its camera files, and after a lot of research i had change its camera files, but along with the camera every thing in the rom was changed (remember i used ervius kitchen) that i hate, even in the device info the name was BenFes, that i think is the creator of kitchen , so plz guide me to change only the camera and nothing else in the ROM, beside this, i want to know how to convert a dump folder again into NB file... plz plz help me guys, i need ur full support..........

what is not to give permissions from the update-script ... is a big problem for me ...
if someone could help me integrate the necessary permissions to update-script, that I take them well, install the rom, would greatly appreciate it.
