Intro/How to root...
Order & Chaos Online is fully compatible with the Motorola Atrix, despite what Gameloft may say. Even on Android 2.3.4. Here's how to get it...
Android update 2.3.4 killed the root a while back, so here are instructions on how to get that root back if you need to. You must be rooted to follow this tutorial.
These instructions are easy to follow, and if you follow them there is no chance of bricking or damaging your phone in any way. This is the guide that I used...
http://www.atrixforums.com/forum/mo...including-stock-locked-2-3-4-a.html#post47155
Once you're rooted...
Simply make the following modifications in your build.prop file.
(Check the Market for "Root Tools" for a simple app to edit your build.prop. Costs a dollar but has many other great tools for root users. You'll only need it in this tutorial for a minute, so you can get a refund if you're really that stingy.)
ro.product.model=Optimus 2X
ro.product.brand=lge
ro.product.name=lge_star
ro.product.device=p990
ro.product.board=p990

Save your build.prop and reboot your phone. Order and Chaos will now be in the Market.
Also, reverting back to original Atrix build.prop will disable subscription renewal and hide the game from My Apps/Android Market. You must keep this build.prop to keep Market-access to receive the required updates.
Note: You will find a few other Gameloft games available in the Market now. I can confirm that Backstab and NOVA 2 do not work on the Atrix, so don't waste your money buying them and your time/battery downloading the game files.

Might want to remove the link to the file since its considered warez and not allowed.

I just changed build.prop to lg optimus ² and purchased the game from the market

I've changed the build.prop before, so I know what to edit, but what are the values for the Optimus 2? Also, does the game actually work?

Can you make in-app purchases? The hacked .apk I installed runs the game perfectly, but I can't make in-game purchases.

Would love this for nova/nova2 as I plan to buy them. Their dust service department has not responded to my inquiry.

the first NOVA is available on the atrix. go to gameloft.com in your browser. you'll have to sideload the apk, but the game will work. Compatibility isn't the issue, because lots of Gameloft games run perfectly on my Atrix 4G. I don't know why they're blocking certain phones from buying their games. That makes no sense to me. I emailed Gameloft asking them to make more games available for the Atrix, this is all they had to say.
Hi!
Thank you for your interest in Gameloft games and for being such a devoted Gameloft customer. We are always happy to answer all your questions.
Bringing the best gaming experience to our clients is our top priority. This is why we always try to work diligently to make all our games available for all platforms.
Unfortunately, I can not provide you with information about our future releases of the game for your device. We can not operate such information as it usually depends not only on us but a lot of other third party companies.
If you have more questions, please do not hesitate to contact us again.
Have a nice day!

What a great non answer. Their method wants me to give them my phone number to text me a link. I have google voice.
Their system/site is pretty badly made. Its terrible hard to know where to go.
Iphone ipad smartphone? Seriously? Why can't they just say smartphone and tablets.
I just tried to purchase nova and they f**ked up my order and then gave me 500 internal server error. I give up. The combination of a terrible website, a terrible support team (going on 2 days now) and a pathetic purchase install process has lost an interested customer.

If you want to play this through 3g, you can on your 3g network then on wifi without connecting it to any network

thanks
thank for this

How do we get the patched file since it's removed?

For anyone having trouble with Game loft support don't give up. I recently had an issue with some games and had a very good experience. There are a few things to keep in mind. One thing I noticed is it takes 4 or 5 day for almost any response. Another thing is English may or may not be a first language for the rep that you get in touch with. So try to be clear as well as patient.
Once I communicated the issue in a fashion that was understandable, they fixed my problems, and even gave me two free games for my troubles.
One other thing. If the game you want is not developed by them specifically for your device you won't get anywhere with them as far as support. I would speculate based on my experience that if you "accidental" bought the wrong game, maybe you could negotiate an exchange or get a credit. Just be prepared to show all receipts.

I tired it again and it turns out their paypal method doesn't work it all. It always returns me to the game listing with no purchase made. I've lost interest anyways after talking to some peeps on the irc.

Bumping for LG Optimuse 2 values to edit into build.prop.
I searched the whole internet and found nothing

@Pizza4Breakfast: Check your PMs.
@Novancaiel: I've done some experimenting with rooting my phone and editing the build.prop and had no success. I'll send you a PM for an .apk that should work with the LG Optimus 2. Try sideloading it and let me know how that works.
Anyone else who needs the .apk, feel free to PM me. I'll try to get back to you as soon as possible. Gameloft keeps having the links taken-down, and I only have two links left to share. I'm not posting them here for Gameloft to see, and I'm not re-uploading it to any sites. When they're gone, they're gone--unless someone else re-ups it.
Edit: reminder, you can not make in-app purchases with this version. subscription renewal and microtransactions are done through the android market. don't dedicate too much time, because once your subscription is up--your characters are gone. (until gameloft ever releases it for more phones on the android market [if they do])

Aiight, thanks a lot!

Btw, I have just one question. If Gameloft does allow Atrix support in the next 3 months, how would we be able to upgrade to the market version and would we be able to keep the progress we've made on this non-official version?

Yep, i just spent the last 3 days looking and repeatedly messing up my build.prop ... thank god for back ups...
If you have this working PLEASE post values!

@Pizza4Breakfast: I was able to access my characters on a Droid X with the Android Market version installed. Character data is saved on Gameloft servers, not in the app itself. Upgrading to the official app when/if it is released for Atrix should not be a problem, and you shouldn't lose your progress. Just uninstall this release and get the official version from the Market. When your three months run out, you won't be able to access your account to continue playing though. Unless-
A. Gameloft decides to allow Atrix support.
B. Gameloft creates a way to manage your subscription outside of the Android Market.
C. Someone is crafty and finds a work-around.
@Carrion332: I don't think the Market compatibility check is based off of the build.prop for some reason. I've tried editing the values of my Atrix to all of the "compatible" phones, and it's still fails to show in the Android Market. Could be wrong, but I've wasted a lot of time trying. O&C is available for the LG P990 Optimus 2X (Star). Is that not the same phone you have? Check the Android Market

Super Manager:Awesome Root Explorer & MORE

I've never been so satisfied with an app for getting RW access. Root Explorer didn't work, SU File Manager wasn't working for me.. ADB was driving me up the wall.
I found Super Manager in the market and it has made changing /system/ files like the build.prop a piece of cake. Removing .apk's couldn't be any easier with this app either. It also has app backup/restore, APK Manager, a docking panel that includes a host of information in your notifications panel (it can be turned off), an app locker/protector, etc etc. - there is a bunch of useful stuff here.

Just recommending this one because I see soo many recommending Root Explorer and I think this is far better.
Man the settings menu scrolls for days when you look at all the options.
Wow that's a pretty cool app. I think the task tray in the notifications drop down is kinda cool.
Yeah but it gets in the way for me. Lots to play with here and I hope people take note and stop giving their money away for that mediocre "root" explorer which never has worked for me.
Glad there are more options, but you really discredit yourself by saying bad things about Root Explorer... The fact YOU had issues with it does not take away from the fact that it has been one of the best at what it does for a very long time. Besides that obvious point,i really have no clue how you could not figure it out....

Isn't that the whole point here? The app is as you said, stale and could use an update to the UI not to mention I'm not the only one that had problems with it obtaining root access. This is free and works better. What is your problem?
I have to agree with s15274n, Root Explorer works like a charm on my Vibrant, even after 10 different flashes I have done.
Lol all I have to say is why spend money in root explorer if you don't need to besides there are some like me who can't get root explorer because there is no option to bill tmobile only papal......
I think its funny trying to defend root explorer, which epically fails because it cost money and that alone is a no I will not download and I silk find a substitute that us free ie this

Application Functionality > UI looking fancy. I rather have a app that works PERFECTLY fine for me then making it look all pretty (boo hooo.. it doesn't work for you, that doesn't mean its better, for you its better.. for others it isnt) and there are ways in fixing it by reflashing a ROM.
This thread is fully opinionated.

@Colby: If everybody had your egotistic view on paid applications, then the Android market would be placed in a really awful position. The developers that create these applications DESERVE credit for their work. If they built a app and its used heavily, then I wouldn't mind giving them money. The app is only $3 anyway. And what are you talking about? the Android Market accepts payment methods OTHER than paypal. Are you like 15 year old and dont have access to a bank account or credit card or something, no offense but it really sounds that way if you can't support a developer by giving them $3 for lifetime updates.
You can make purchases through Google Checkout using a credit, debit, or gift card with the following logos:
* American Express*
* Discover*
* MasterCard
* Solo**
* Visa
* Visa Electron**
Additionally, T-Mobile customers in the U.S. can purchase applications from the Android Market using direct carrier billing.

... and? my point stands with him saying that it was only "papal" (he couldn't even spell Paypal correctly. Credit card/debit cards are not hard to obtain unless you're under 18. The reason why I don't like Super Manager is because it comes with all these other features that are un-necessary. I find Root Explorer to be the best due to it's simplicity UI. It's very simple and works very well.

I'm glad Super Manager pleases you. Perhaps you could help me better understand it. As their web page states: "We don't have an English webpage."
Unless I'm missing something, much of Super Manager's functionality is limited to the $8.00 pro version. For example, with Root Explorer, I have immediate access to the files and folders on my Vibrant. With Super Manager, pressing "File Explorer" takes me to an essentially blank screen. At the top, it reads: "Backup level folder." But pressing has no visible result. At the bottom is a scrollable menu list, but, at least with my free version, none of them does anything.
In all events, unless you can point to specific defects in Root Explorer, it shouldn't be necessary to put it down in order to praise something else.
I too like it as well it does work very well!!
Hmm i preffer root explorer, how is this app easy and functional? Bunch of icons with no labels. And an annoying pop up telling me to buy the pro version. No thanks
Holy Crap... just looked over all the permissions this app requests.
I'll stick with Root Explorer that just asks to access the SD card. Jesus.

ok first off i have paid for many apps.
Second, i am 23 and i still think the bank can screw themselves. I like cold hard cash period credit cards screw people over and debit cards are ok, but i still like cash. So when i buy an app its billed to my accout and if there is no way to do that then im not going to buy the app.
Third, the apps that i do buy, i buy because there is not an application that does the same functions for free.
its very simple, and thats why would not buy an application that cost money when there are applications that do the exact same thing for free. (best example is terminal emulator/ why pay 99 cents for it when there is one that is free and does the same thing. In this case the app is free does the same thing as root explorer and even has more functions.
last but not least if you are going to note that i didnt spell paypal correctly perhaps you should have considered i was on the xda app on my phone and that was swype's fault
very simple idea and makes sense other wise your just wasting money.
i am not trying to be an ahole lol im just stating my opinion on the matter.
oh and if it adds all that extra crap u dont want then why dont you just delete all the extra crap so that the only thing the app can do is root explorer. i see where you are coming from zep and it is nice for its simplicity but still will cost me $3... 3 dollars or a free app that does the same thing thats not as simplified... thats just my take

That doesn't even make any sense, its only $3. So I'm guessing that your logic would apply to: "Oh.. why buy Windows? I can just download Linux and it does the same things and its free." Like I said before, if everybody had the same ideology as you, the market would be in a bad area. The developers deserve money for their work. If $3 is too much to ask for then I don't really know what to say to you. The developers do this for the community and I wouldn't mind giving them money for their hard work.[/quote]
The app, "Terminal Emulator " that I've been using since my G1 is FREE. Where the hell did you find that it costs money? If you're referring to "Better Terminal Emulator" or the ones that cost money. The reason is simple, it costs money and there are the pro and cons to it. Pro: the developer is more dedicated to his/her application and may provide more updates than a free version.
last but not least if you are going to note that i didnt spell paypal correctly perhaps you should have considered i was on the xda app on my phone and that was swype's fault

Uh sir. You SPELLED Paypal wrong. Don't blame anyone but yourself because you could of proofread what Swype inputted for you. So yes, you did spell it wrong.
And no.. I am not wasting my money, ever heard of the economical term "paradox thrift?" It states that too much savings causes less savings. It's a mixed economy, you spend money.. it goes in a consumer cycle back to the developer.. the developer spends that money and it circulates. If too many people "save," then the cycle is disrupted and people begin getting laid off because there isn't a demand for it (in this case.. it'd be not getting any profit).
If nobody paid for applications, then there wouldn't be a business for it such as the gaming industry on mobile phones. Especially with the rise of games coming out for Android. In order to develop these apps, they need money. And if they're not getting money then they won't have the resources to give back to the community. It's $3 for lifetime updates, is that too much to ask for?
How exactly am i wasting my money if im being nice for GIVING back to the developer. They gave you features in a app that you rely upon on a daily basis. Is it too much to ask to give them $3 to feed their family? child? Hmmm?
And no.. I don't think your an "ahole" at all but your mind is in the wrong mindset and its bad for the Android community. Just like donations, it's free but developers such as Eugene has a family. I'm sure he has a job as well and especially with him raising a child. Would it be too much to send some cash to him? No. even though they don't initially charge you a fee to download their ROM. It's the same thing as popular apps such as ASTRO (lite... ad supported) then a Pro version that removes the ad.
And you can't SIMPLY remove the features that you don't want from a app and take what you want. That's not how it works, im assuming that you can't see yourself from a developer's perspective. I'm not a developer but I have a huge insight on what goes on.
If the developers made something worthwhile they would be charging for it. I would pay good money for something that wasn't a hacked up version of Samsung's work.
Root Explorer should be free or it should be $1. It's not worth $3. I can't even use my discover card to make the purchase. Further if you don't like something don't use it and don't post in this thread! Words from your savior eugene.

Never said he was my savior. Was just giving a example, and I don't care.. I have my own two cents, if you don't like it then DONT READ IT. Freedom of Speech EHHHH. And Root Explorer has NEVER caused any problems for me, you're just upset because it isn't working for you for whatever reason that you never even explained. The developer is also European, and its 2.50 EUR. Blame the U.S. dollar. It doesn't even matter what you think on how much the app is worth, if the developer sets it at a price and people are willing to pay for it then why should he lower it?
I never seen anyone complain so much about paying <$4.99 for a app.

the bloatware is shocking and offensive

I went from a G1 to a MT3G to an N1 to this perfectly sized vibrant with its smooth processor and beautiful display and I can honestly say I'm furious enough with all of its bloatware that for the first time I may take an android phone back solely because of the crapware (although the lack of a flash and trackball/pad are unforgiveable as well). Anyway:
Memo
Diary
Office (can't edit docs of course)
Gogo
mobitv
Avatar(its an f-ing app!!!)
Telenav (less than pointless and if you don't pay $10 a month for something you already have free from google you have yet another dead icon in your app drawer)
write and go (another note app?)
Swype tips (just shoot me)
Slacker
Layar
Audio postcard (I almost slammed my phone onto the pavement)
Daily briefing
I don't even think that covers it. I have two questions: if my previous 3 androids including the very awesome nexus one didn't come filled with the scum of the app market how theo **** did this happen to this phone? And more importantly what can I do about it without rooting? Thanks, I realize I'm probably late to the party on this deeply offensive issue but I'm here now and, frankly, I'd love to stay if I could turn this monstrosity back into an acceptable mobile device. Thanks again for any help

First of all. Calm down, man. It isn't that serious, they're just applications. Who gets so heated over extra applications. Especially when you have 1GB+ to install anything you want. Including any alternate launcher that has the ability to hide applications.
Second, you can't do anything without rooting because all those applications are system applications. It's simple and harmless to root. Then if you do you can just use an application like Root Explorer and delete them to to delight.

Wow... You seriously need to settle down. They are just applications. They aren't going to harm you. I don't think anyone has been as "offended" as you about it so you're the only person at that party. I'm curious since you stated you've owned 3 other T-Mobile android phones, did you not use the phone prior to your purchase? You're obviously not oblivious to this forum; so why didn't you check here first before having your meltdown? Just doesn't seem like an act of common sense...
Anyways, just use launcher pro and hide whatever apparently you don't want to see. Or root and remove them. Both are easy to do and don't require any further irrational behavior from you such as returning the phone.
Good luck!
Featuring Sombionix 1.9.1 OC/UV, FFC installed
bummer about chrome to phone. And no i didnt use the phone, i still have my nexus but wife was at tmobile getting one so i wanted one too. But the crapware is just stupid, i dont care how much room i have on my phone that doesnt mean i want a bunch of useless **** on my phone. And like with my other phones, i refuse to root just to fix my multi-hundred dollar phone. im not against rooting, just not to make right what should come that way. But honestly, telenav? I mean if samsung or tmobile is going to try to curb their costs by adding redundant apps, they should at least give me the option to pay the extra few bucks to have a decent experience. There just needs to be a way for the average user to remove the crap.
Then again maybe im just pissed because of how i have to pay for how greedy these ****ty companies are. It never ends. I do like the UI though, ive heard nothing but bad things about touchwiz but the whole UI seems very put together. Android said for gingerbread they want the UI to look more cohesive, common visuals/elements. Like what touchwiz already has. Im not a huge fan of the dock or the utter lack of widgets, but its better than vanilla and even sense imo. so theres some positive feedback to even out the meltdown

Wow, you get offended too easily. Just to be fare, tmobile do give you an option to use or not to use the apps. If you don't feel like using those apps like telenav then don't use it. They are not billing you for it just because it's on your phone. You also have an option to root and remove those boatware. Just because you rooted and remove those bloatware it doesn't mean you're fixing anything. Just are just simply uninstalling a few apps. I'm sure some others find some of those bloatwares useful, so each to their own. Main point is, you have the option to decide how you want your phone to be. If it really bother and offend you that much then just stick with other android phones. I highly doubt anyone else find bloatware offensive.
LOL at this thread.
"OMG HOW DARE SAMSUNG MAKE EXTRA APPS FOR PEOPLE??...I DONT USE THEM SO NO ONE ELSE MUST EITHER!"
get over yourself. It's OK for Google to load your phone with Google talk and voice and maps (even though you can get them in the market), but not for the manufacturer? LOL
Cut it out.

Dude seriously? Cry much? you have been here for over a year and did not do your research prior to buying the phone? This news was all over every gadget blog, all over these forums.
People here have given you options. Get over it and be an adult.

Not exactly sure how the survey was done. I have access to IPad and Samsung Galaxy Tab. In fact, I realize my Samsung Galaxy Tab slower and crashes more often than IPad.

Well that obviously depends on your usage - I rarely get crashes or FCs.
iOS doesn't pop up an error message, so you notice it less

iOS is written so that no error message is given when something crashes. This is pure dishonesty in my book. To regular people like yourself, no error message means everything is OK.
The following article explained how they came to the conclusion.
http://www.redmondpie.com/study-reveals-that-ios-apps-crash-more-frequently-than-android/
It's not really a fair comparison. It's like trying to compare Mac crashes vs crashes of windows. iOS is only one one set of hardware and doesn't require as much as work for compatibility. An android app may work flawlessy on 80% of devices but crashes on the other 20% due to different hardware and or software mods. iOS developers don't have to worry about these issues.

It's the exact reason. Moreover, the Android Market doesn't take ages to censor your application before publishing. That also make some un-mature application running on devices

Apple doesn't "censor" anyone they have guidelines that developers agree to when signing up. If you're not comfortable then you can go develop for another platform. The reason all apps have a review process is to assure best possible experience for the users. This is why Apple doesn't have a malware problem that requires you to run anti-virus software on your phone. Strangely enough even with all this "censorship" in place the devs are still flocking to the platform more than Android.

Actually there has been malware on ios market despite its review process. And you don't need av on android if you use market, av can't stop a malware app before it gets on your phone so they are not much use.

iOS and Macs both get malware and virus's despite people saying they're immune or they don't get any. Neither Android nor iOS has any real issue with malware, but Android offers more "virus checking" apps and other similar apps than iOS for sure.
I think it's pretty lame on Apple's part to not display the error messages, pretty much tricking users into thinking everything is ok and it was just a random glitch and not an actual app crash.
Apple does censor in the respect that they do not approve many apps if they do not fit in with their guidelines, which are tough, and for some certain types of apps it makes it impossible to publish even if they're amazing and useful apps.
And yea I can see why many app developers would go to iOS before android.
Because you code 1 thing and it gets pushed out to the most people. Android you have to code 1 thing, then code it again for every device with different hardware or version of the OS.
I'm actually surprised, it would seem Android would have more FCs caused by poorly developed apps or compatibility errors that allow a program to be installed on a non-compatibile device. Not that this is common, but it usually happens with new games. iOS developers can easily test every compatible device, but it would be nearly impossible for Android devs to do the same.
The whole Android virus thing has been blown way out of proportion. Common sense is always the best A/V. Most people get these viruses from downloading warez or risky looking apps in the market. But Google has recently added a new verification process for the Market that will check code and run apps in an emulated environment to make sure they are legit before listing them.

In my use I would say this is even. Ios used to crash less but ios 5 has been a total disaster in my opinion, and crashes and lags have increased dramatically ( company phone, i would never pay for a ios device again). They totally try to hide the crashes by not giving you notice.

ios just for iphone,with same hardware,so all apps in their store are really compatible,but android isnt just for one devices,it is in many different devices from different company with different hardware,so not easy to tell the compatibility..

I just came back to the Android community. I had a Captivate when they came out and had nothing but problems with the GPS and it constantly rebooted. I got the iPhone 4 and I have to say, they may not have a message pop up about an error with an app, but I can honestly say that I never had any issues with any app that I used. I love my new Skyrocket, but the same issues are still around. It has rebooted several times and still getting issues with F/C's on some apps. I am trying to figure out why these issues are still around now that Android is getting some age on it? I understand there will always be some issues, but I am about to start missing my small screen!!!! Tell me what how to permanently leave my iPhone in the past and start enjoying this great phone??

no simple answer other than learn. What apple has going for it is that it is dummy proof (no offense). You do not need to be curious of how to make things work better they just work as is. With Android, you have the option to learn, mod, flash roms, and improve. I too had a Captivate and all of the issues I had with the device were fixed via custom roms/kernels. I sold it and now use an Iphone for daily business. I would chew my arm off to have my Captivate back as the Iphone 4 is intollerably slower and terribly boring.
So my advise is to either learn or return to the saftey of the shoe box that is an iphone

So you prefer a phone that needs to have its warranty voided instead of something that works? You must have a lot of free time on your hands since most normal people would rather not waste hours making their phone functional. I don't have a problem with tweaking the phone to improve performance or personalize it if that's your thing, but it shouldn't be a requirement to make the phone work.
so go back to your shoe box. or, do better research on the device you are buying before you pcik it up. The captivate issues were well known and any small degree of research would of led you to that. And none of the issues were software related they were hardware.
I find it hard to believe that you would come to a development forum and be confused that people who frequent it mod their phones and void their waranties.

[XPOSED][MOD]TinderMods v1.0.2 - Restores the 'last seen' on your matches.

All this module does for now is restore the last seen time on your Tinder matches.
It currently works only with people you've matched with and not when you swipe.
Hopefully future versions will include more features.
Download
Through the Xposed repo.

Tested on Tinder versions 4.4.4, 4.5.2 and 4.5.5.
Tested on KitKat and Lollipop.
26/03/16
Released version 1.0.2 that now supports KitKat as well.
Would love to hear suggestions, comments, bugs and positive / negative feedback.
And if you'd like to, buy me a beer (or a bottle of Chandon )
I been looking for something like this
Any Screenshots or anything? Proof that it works? Tinder version required and such? It doesn't work for myself so would like more info.
Confused..
I'm utterly confused... What purpose does this mod have?.. To show what? Why would you want your matches to know your on 24/7 ... Isn't that counter productive

I assumed it restored it for you to see when your matches were last on. Not letting yyou matches see your "last seen" but you see when they were on.

Up to version 4.3.5 of Tinder, you could have seen the time when your matches were last online.
This feature was removed on version 4.4.1 and forward. What this mod does is simply bring it back.

It was tested on versions 4.4.4 and 4.5.2.
As I said in the top post, XDA won't let me link to the repo or post screenshots because I am a new user.
Just google TinderMods xposed and there is a screenshot on the repo website.
I tried this with 4.5.2. I can confirm it is working, although the format makes me do a double take. It's listed as 16/2/16...........instead of 2/16/16......and a 24hr time stamp.
In the US, usually we read dates as month/day/year, so if you are not used to reading the day/month/year, it'll take some getting used to. I've used Tinder since it first came out nearly 4 years ago, and have seen the app change quite a bit.
The OP can correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the OP's purpose for the last online time stamp is to determine when the person was last online so....in theory you can tell if they are ignoring you after you send a message, b/c if you sent it, then they were online, they likely saw it and are possibly ignoring you.
This is the reason why I think Tinder took away this option was b/c of it allows ppl to check messages without the scrutiny of giving the perception of ignoring the person LOL. Tbh, it's not an issue based on my experience (as a guy), b/c:
1. If the person likes you, they typically respond very quickly. That has been my experience.
2. If they person does not respond, they either are never online or are not interested so you are wasting your time anyway.
I can't seem to get it to activate. I installed the module, rebooted, and still no dice. I even tried reinstalling 4.5.2 but nothing.

If they picked you they were online at some point. That doesn't make sense. I'd rather women just unmatch if it's that they don't want to talk. Online dating is either a cheap thrill or stressful depending on your personality.

Thanks for the mod. It is useful. As I said before I've seen the app change during the years. Before it used to also be much leaner, then the app seems to have progressively become more and more "bloaty"

Sure that is true. Again, Tinder has changed a lot since I first started using it. In the US, Tinder is FULL of bots. They are profiles which send automated messages. This really took off around late 2014.
From when it first came out until, I'd say late 2014, Tinder was great. The app was lean, less bloat, no bots, and girls who were on there were worthwhile. You also had unlimited swipes, they didn't charge. Now (today), the app is heavy although gotten better, girls are on there are usually a waste of time, there is a limit on swipes, etc.......Usually most girls are just wasting time with it.....

Please paste the logs relevant to this module in a CODE tag along with the version of Tinder you're using and I will examine them.

General Well I cancelled my order….

I am very sad to say it but I have cancelled my order. I just cant justify paying what this phone costs for something that wont even let me use Android Auto and keeps switching Google apps to Oppo even after setting Google apps as default. I will continue to lurk and hope for a day when we see this phone released with a Global version. Thanks to everyone for all your answers and feedback, it is appreciated.
Anyone want to buy an Oppo light Gray case…should be arriving at my door any day now

It is interesting that you are active on this forum. This community is all about customizing devices, and making them do things they are not originally intended to do. If you come here, you will get recommendations on the same. For those that want a phone to just works, buy one from your carrier, for those that want to play with tech, and force it into submission, buy one that is not meant for your carrier, visit XDA, and get to work.
Also imapfsr has received the feedback they requested here, to include the recommendation to not buy the Find N.

This person wants honest opinions, he does not want to waste over 1000 bucks for some person to say it works because they have downloaded an app on PlayStore to work around the devices limitations. Don’t worry he’ll wait for your analysis on Android Auto.
You say most of apps works, 99.999% would work fine, yeah OK….have you used every single one of PlayStores apps? Do you know every little UI issue on every single app? I doubt it.

For your first question... It's in the name "XDA-Developers", and if that is not enough it is in a statement on their home page.
Ask what you want, but if you are coming here to ask questions you should expect responses that include customizing. imapfsr was smart in coming here because they knew they did not want to do heavy customizations, and asked questions that lead to not buying the phone. You on the other hand seem mad that people are offering up solutions to these issues.
Last, if you want to quote me pay attention to context, it is important. My comment was this:
I said 99.9999% of apps would look fine in landscape mode, and to turn to portrait for the others. In a later post I offered to test specific apps for anyone that would like. This was in response to you complaining about the phone being in landscape by default.
Do you also complain about all the default portrait phones that force you to turn into landscape when you launch a game?

It is interesting that you are active on this forum. This community is all about customizing devices, and making them do things they are not originally intended to do. If you come here, you will get recommendations on the same. For those that want a phone to just works, buy one from your carrier, for those that want to play with tech, and force it into submission, buy one that is not meant for your carrier, visit XDA, and get to work.
Also imapfsr has received the feedback they requested here, to include the recommendation to not buy the Find N. View attachment 5507817

Your argument about games makes no sense - most games force landscape mode, that’s just games - most other apps don’t force landscape mode and most people aren’t playing games most of of the time on their phones, so that’s awful comeback.
Context doesn’t make your argument any more relevant. You have no idea that this % amount of apps ‘look fine’, stop pretending you know more than you do. Also why would offer to test apps? Who on earth do you think you are? Please calm your ego. You are a nobody. No one’s care about you testing anything.

And I thank you for that as well sir!
Hey you guys, nothing this trivial is worth arguing over, we have enough garbage to deal with nowadays to not get pissed over this. I appreciate everyone's help and feedback for and against. I am just looking for everyone's honest opinion and I always get that here without question. As I have stated previously I have messed around with phones since the original Mi Mix but I am passed the stage of wanting to do that anymore, I just want my phone to work...who knows, global version maybe or late news is looking like maybe the Google Pipet might be Find N like so we will see. Ideally that would be perfect...a Google foldable in the flavor of the Find N with pure Android...yes please
Thanks again to everyone!
You have made a great choice. Great hardware, poor software with way too many irritations. I sold mine 2 days after getting it.
Good luck to those jumping off; but I've been using the Find N a week now, and very happy with it (Fold is going on sale shortly). It's just an all around better package with better trade offs (for me) than my Fold. Every phone has trade offs, and it is true there are some things that might not work yet (Android Auto) and some that are annoying (aggressive battery); but with the Fold the form factor is just not quite right (for me), and it always felt like a folded in half iPad Mini which doesn't fit comfortably in the pocket; where the outer screen is too tall and the keyboard too narrow such that the outer screen isn't very usable; and then the weight in the hand is unwieldy due to the length. I can understand if there are deal breakers for some (such as for those where Android Auto is a must have), but so far there aren't any for me.
@conceptgate
What do you mean with "(Fold is going on sale shortly)"?
Do you mean the Oppo find N going on sale soon?

Haha got it! enjoy it
All Samsung Fold's are even not close to this phone's build quality, if this phone came with global version than for the moment no any fold can be a competitor.
