Hmm not really considered a short cut since you need to go into the menu and press refresh
Opening new windows via squeeze pinching the screen all the way - Now that's a shortcut

FYI, the sense bookmark widget uses the bookmarks from the stock internet app, so if you are using a different browser, it won't pull those bookmarks. Anyway, all you need to do is click on the black page bookmark, it will go to the website in question, it automatically caches a thumbnail for the widget, exit out, refresh widget, done.

I'm using stock browser and I've added a few bookmarks and all work but 2 gamefaqs and dish network. I didn't see an option to refresh but I did exit and reenter the app im assuming that would work but it did not.

Ideal Buttons Functions/Layout

I'm not particularly fond of Samsung's default button layout and I wish it was this way (maybe some developer can hack it to make it so?)
Home Button:
Single Press - Home
Double Press - SVoice (Which can be disabled)
Long Press - Search
Menu Button:
Single Press - Multitasking (this is the most used button after home so it must be quick to access in my opinion)
Long Press - Settings
What do you guys think?
Menu button :
single press for multitasking - I don't use that. Scrolling the task menu is slow and annoying. I prefer going back to any apps by clicking on the apps icon on my home screen.

Task menu is slow cause of the long press, and that's exactly why it would be great to have that on single press

I think its slow because you can see what, 4 apps on the screen? PITA imo, I usually have so much stuff open that a reboot is faster than swiping it all away

There are two ways of doing it:
1.
- Open your stock browser or chrome or Firefox
- bookmark your favorite website.
- goto bookmarks, long-click on anyone and select add to home screen.
2. From your launcher.
- long click, select add shortcuts,
- choose bookmark and select your favorite one.
With method two, you must have previously bookmarks that page on your stock browser at least.
Click on the THANKS button if I've helped you

[Q] Popup browser - > Chrome

Is there any way I can make the Popup browser to open into Chrome instead of the Android Browser? Are there any alternate Popup browsers available in Playstore that enable me to open up the browser of my choice?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
Use flux browser you can find it in the play store
Edit: what do you mean by pop up?
If you have more than 1 browser it will prompt you to choose the browser before you open a link, just press just once so it will not be default
A simple THANKS button would suffice

Thanks I'll give flux browser a go
S3 Has a mini browser that opens up as a pop up window. You can move it around while not opening the default browser. This usually happens when using Google search bar.
When you press the expand button it takes me to the default Android Browser. I am looking for an alternative that would let me open Chrome instead of the default browser when expanded

I don't think there are any other popup browsers. I did not find any.
Thanks for your reply
I can't believe no one has thought of a good customizable Popup browser
