[APP2SD+DC2SD HELP] Market Error!

I can't get quick response from the original thread so I decided to seek help in general. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=11070039#post11070039
I was trying to install App2sd + DC2SD on my new mini and here are the process that I've done.
Firmware updated, rooted, xRecovery installed, sd card partitioned to FAT32 and ext3, installed .zip file via xRecovery, reboot and...
stuck up at SE logo for quite some time then automatically reboot again then...
finally make it through.
Question: How will I know if i succeeded?
I checked on the settings and it says that I only have 1.32GB on sd memory and 175MB internal memory.
I tried to download an app from the market and got an error message "process com.android.vending has stopped unexpectedly". Can anyone help me please and answer my queries? Thanks.
Tried re-installing the apk in system/sd/app and reboot. I can now access the market, i think it's ok for now... I hope so.

[Q] Uknown Error -18

Any help here will be appreciated.
Just in the last few days I jave been getting error messages when trying to install some apps fromt he market.
One was a game, and some have been updates to apps I have already installed.
(GPS Tools being one of them)
Anyway the error says
UNKNOWN ERROR -18
I cannot find any information on this unknown error, so any news will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
v008.1
kernel 3.60
hmmm that issue used to come from roms that had a memory issue.
Try unmounting your sd card (from sd card settings) and then downloading the app with it unmounted, to see if that fixes the problem.
Cheers,
If its an sd card problem that might fit in with another problem that has just surfaced.
All my apps on the sd card appear now to be unistalled and TB cannot restore them.
Maybe the problem is with my sd card, I may have to back it up and format.
Cheers.

[Q] System FC after App2SD

Hey guys,
I gut some serious problem.
It all began with moving some apps(80 apps) to the SD card using App2SD pro. After that my phone freezes and an error appears : "Sorry! Prozess system reagiert nicht" . So the phone crashes and stated to reboot. Once rebooted the phone freezes again and the error appeared again . When i reboot without the sd card connected it starts normally . Just when the sd card is plugged in it keeps crashing .
I think i have to move these apps to the internal memory but how can i do this if the phone keeps rebooting ?
Thanks in advance .

[Q] Android app to identify corrupted apps

I recently updated a game on Play Store which was installed on my external sd card and after about 2 mins, the phone started to restart repeatedly...on reboot the message scanning sd card is displayed and in 2 mins the phone restarts again... this keeps happening....
on removing the sd card the phone operates normally...
in some forum i read that this happens because of corrupted apps....once i uninstalled the app (i updated ) the phone returned to normal working condition....
is this a bug in S2..is there an app that can run on boot to identify and uninstall these corrupted apps
Phone Model: GT-i9100 (India)
Android Version: 2.3.5
thanks, darengive

some games and apps do pose problems due to incompatability for various reasons like rom not supporting, kernel issue, android ver issue etc so always google for games and apps compatable with ur rom and install them only

Hi I don't know whether or not this is useful to yourself but I had a similar problem with my S2 and my S3.
Every now and again it would unmount my SD card and I would get a similar message.I used an app from the play store called the SD card monitor "i think" to check for errors and to see how often this happened.
After all this a quick backup of the memory card, a quick factory reset followed by software update cured my problem for both handsets.
If this has helped please :good: this :highfive:
