If you're using ADW, untick the wallpaper hack in settings, or get GO Launcher Ex.

Im using GO Launcher Ex, tried Launcher Pro same problem on both

You guys should be more focus when you are reading my site
Important
As you should already know not each launcher supports transparent statusbar, but if you will use MultiPicture Live Wallpaper you can get transparent statusbar using any launcher , so I added wallpaper.png to the archive.

Thanks man! it worked! i guess the problem was that the status bar cant hold the scrolling effect underneath it ?

honeycomb launcher and met launcher provide transparent bar without live wp at home screen.

It works without LWP with GO Launcher EX for me.

Yeah but there is lots of launchers over the Market, so it's the best way to make it work for all of them

At present I am using xperia launcher which does not supports gesture ,but your trasparent works fine. My question is that is there any other way to access notification bar?

Mine is black :O
Might try uninstalling adw launcher..
edit: still nothing.
Selecting background with multi-live still gives me a black statusbar.

i'm getting the same problem, my statusbar is white, i'm using ADW launcher without wallpaper hack, but ican't make it works.

go get muitipicture live wallpaper.

with 'go ex-launcher' work?
need to set something in preferences?

[How-To] Transparent Statusbar CM6 [Without theme chooser]

Hey guys, just discovered something nice on froyo
check this out
Cyanogenmod settings > statusbar bla > check use custom > get alpha to minimum, and you have transparent notification bar
See the first image, and see the second one , you will understand everything
btw, you need to have density 110 to see that alpha bar
i always knew that the alpha setting existed on the bar color screen...(even in 120 resolution, one can see the yellow bar n move it with difficulty)...
but i never knew that it can b completely visualized in 110 resolution view...
thnx for this
nice trick but i have problem i set notification bar to transparent in lock screen is transpared but on launncher pro's home and everywhere is black. what do i have to do for getting transparnt everywhere?
EDIT: i'm on CyaNoComb v 1.2
I dont have those settings i mean i have but cant set them...cant ''click'' on them

solved ;-p
Have you read the last sentence of the original post? You need to change the screen density to see it.
Or can you see it but just not able to select it?

witch launcher do you use?
i found how to do transparent in Launcher Pro and ADW Launcher
1) Launcher pro
to get it work you need to use live wallpapers othervise it will be just black or grey statusbar
2)Adw launcher EX
got to launcher settings then general behavior/system preferences and uncheck wallpaper hack
ok thx i test it now
edit:
so i have test it :-( its black... i hate black today!!! ;-)
is it the framework.res the mistake???
need to change this?
what theme do you have?
well im using mini pro and current rom is MiniCM6 v6.1
in this rom i have option to use theme via theme choser and im using meizu theme.
and my launcher is ADW.
i dont think that is prob in framework.
Do you have a solution for Go Launcher EX Eyama ?
For Go Launcher EX I find the solution
Go to Preferences -> Advanced Settings and select High quality drawing !

It definitely works when using icons from another adw theme than default. Maybe if you can find an adw theme with default icons, then set your preferred theme in theme chooser and set adw to use icons from the former.
A few extra steps, not sure why it won't just work.

by the way when u open the app drawer , the wallpaper with app shortcuts/appdrawer button/ clock will still be shown? im looking something like the launcher in jb on samsung s3/mini or xperia launcher
Which ROM did you try because some ROMs don't have trebuchet. Also you can look in the x10 mini forums for an ICS xperia launcher for ICS. Also look in the galaxy mini forums for an ICS touchwiz launcher as both of these phones are ldpi.
