wifi keyboard for sgs II - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there any app to use my wifi logitech mouse and keyboard on the phone? I know you can do that with a bluetooth keyboard but is it possible with a wifi one?

There used to be a mouse-cursor mod for android 1.5, but I haven't seen anything about it ever since.
There is however a Wifi keyboard thing available, here.

Can you tell me the brand and model of your Logitech mouse and keyboard?
I don't remember seeing Logitech ever making a keyboard or mouse that runs via 802.11b/g/a/n WiFi.
I do know they have wireless and bluetooth keyboards and mouse.
WiFi does not have HID, Bluetooth does.

App to connect a BT Mouse?

I have a Nexus Galaxy, I'm wondering if it's possible to connect a BT mouse to it and what app I'd need to use to help pair them?
Thanks!

Because I have HDMI out and it would allow me to [easily] control the phone from a distance.
I've got a GN and a Bluetooth mouse and they work together just fine. Pair with the mouse from within the Bluetooth settins thingy and it'll be good to go. Same with the Bluetooth keyboard I got.

You're right - my BT mouse worked without having to setup anything additional, no extra apps, I just went to the Blue Tooth screen, enabled it and it found the mouse right away!
FYI - mouse was nothing special, just an extra one I had laying around from my old Dell, turns out the other mice I was testing with weren't actually BT, that was the disconnect!
Thanks!

[Q] Apple Bluetooth Keyboard

I have a aluminium apple bluetooth keyboard. When I connect it to my tablet I put in the passcode to pair it and then check the box to use it as an input device, but when I go to type anywhere it doesn't do anything and the touchscreen keyboard comes up. I have tried the tablet with a wired keyboard, which works fine.
Thats odd. Ive paired mine as you and when i press any key the internal keyboard goes off. Are you sure you have set it up as the default keyboard?
How do I do this? In language and input I can only choose standard keyboard as the default.
YOU must type the correct Numbercode and hit the Enter Button on the Keyboard. This works i hope

I have an Apple Bluetooth Keyboard and want to use it with my Xperia Tablet S 32gb,
I input the 4 digit code and it pairs, but it doesn't input anything. Strangely, it works on my Xperia S mobile phone!
I posted here about it! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1908522
If you have any ideas, please can you post for me?

Hey there, I do believe this comes down to incompatibilities with the version of bluetooth supported. Eg my my bluetooth mouse works on my laptop and galaxy s 2, but not my tablet s. My bluetooth key board which I know to be bluetooth 2.0 works fine on all. No idea what the mouse is, it was just a cheapo one with limited specs available. Wroks great on compatible devices though
Hi DreadPirateDan!
thanks for your reply,

I understand a bit about Bluetooth Human Interface Device Profile (HID) and wonder if some genius has worked out a way to get these to work together..
But guess I will have to give up! I have the case with keyboard for the Xperia Tablet S but the viewing angle is not good for me. Maybe I will find a cheap Bluetooth keyboard.
The Sony one - http://www.sony.co.uk/product/other-sony-tablet-accessories/sgp-wkb1 is a bit too pricey!

The Tablet S doesn't support Apple Bluetooth keyboard is because the kernel excluded module hid-apple. You can root your tablet to support it.
Sent from my LT26i using xda premium
Thanks WonderEkin!

I not sure whether to root yet. Only experience is with my Samsung 7" tablet, and that must be 2 years ago now...
Then I am not sure how to add the correct Bluetooth profile!
Lots of reading and research to do!

I've used a number of combinations. The HP TouchPad Bluetooth keyboard works well, and then you can just get a small wireless USB mouse in combination.
My personal favorite that I've switched to is Logitech's K400 keyboard/mouse pad. Cannot recommend this enough, it works great. Scrolling with two fingers on the touch pad works, home key, volume buttons all work as well.

Bluetooth Mouse and Keyboard

Anyone else having issues trying to connect their Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse at the time same? Seems like I never had the problem before the 4.4.2 update which kinda sucks. Think KitKat might have broken multiple bluetooth at the same time connectivity...
On the ATT 4.4.2 Galaxy Mega.
I'm interested in using a bluetooth mouse on my galaxy mega, but i can't find it on phisical stores... just online!
The bluetooth mouse is great just can't use the keyboard at the same time. Guess I should can get a keyboard that has a built in track pad.
oh, i didn't know i can't use 2 bluetooth devices at the same time... at this point, as you said, a solution could be a keyboard with built-in trackpad. thanks!
Well it's a bit buggy because I can use my Pebble smart watch and mouse fine just having issues with the mouse and keyboard

Which Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard....

work "best" with the Nexus Player? Looking for a mini keyboard with touchpad.
TIA!
One of these types I think:
http://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Keyb...ywords=wireless+keyboard+mouse+android+player
Logitech k400, no other, of course
k400
I have been unable to get my logitech k400 working with my NP. I'm guessing that maybe it is my OTG adapter. Anyone else having problems getting their k400 to work?
Nexus Player keyboard
Yes you have given an option for a wireless keyboard to work with the nexus player... It says Bluetooth keyboard is needed so will the keyboard you showed work with an otg or do I need a Bluetooth keyboard
