Logitech k400, no other, of course

k400
I have been unable to get my logitech k400 working with my NP. I'm guessing that maybe it is my OTG adapter. Anyone else having problems getting their k400 to work?

Nexus Player keyboard
Yes you have given an option for a wireless keyboard to work with the nexus player... It says Bluetooth keyboard is needed so will the keyboard you showed work with an otg or do I need a Bluetooth keyboard

which external keyboard

Which external (infrared or bluetooth) keyboard is compatible with MDAIII? What would you recommend?
Install the new Unofficial patch by Broadcom (Available at this site...). It will add HID support for Bluetooth keyboards. After you do that, you can use the ThinkOutside Stowaway Bluetooth Keyboard and it'll pair and work like a charm! Gotta love it.
preternatural
I just picked up a ThinkOutside Stowaway Bluetooth keyboard.
After a few attempts at getting it setup, it now works great.
It's nice to be able to use the keyboard with the SX66 in portrait or landscape modes. I've seen it online for about $90.00

Bluetooth keyboard/mouse combo?

Hi all,
Am thinking of getting a bluetooth keyboard and mouse, or maybe a combo..
A couple of questions...
a) Will this work, ie, a bluetooth keyboard on this device?
b) Can I bluetooth two (or more) separate devices? A separate bluetooth keyboard and mouse? Or will I have to get a combo keyboard and mouse?
Finally, any recomendations?
Thanks!
Both Logitech MX5000 and MX5500 combos work, but you have to connect the mouse and keybord separately.
Logitech Cordless MediaBoard Pro
Logitech Cordless MediaBoard Pro works perfectly as does the touchpad.
Pairs up, works great.
The upper "media" buttons don't work but they won't work for my laptop either.

wifi keyboard for sgs II

Is there any app to use my wifi logitech mouse and keyboard on the phone? I know you can do that with a bluetooth keyboard but is it possible with a wifi one?
There used to be a mouse-cursor mod for android 1.5, but I haven't seen anything about it ever since.
There is however a Wifi keyboard thing available, here.

Can you tell me the brand and model of your Logitech mouse and keyboard?
I don't remember seeing Logitech ever making a keyboard or mouse that runs via 802.11b/g/a/n WiFi.
I do know they have wireless and bluetooth keyboards and mouse.
WiFi does not have HID, Bluetooth does.

Bluetooth Mouse and Keyboard

Anyone else having issues trying to connect their Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse at the time same? Seems like I never had the problem before the 4.4.2 update which kinda sucks. Think KitKat might have broken multiple bluetooth at the same time connectivity...
On the ATT 4.4.2 Galaxy Mega.
I'm interested in using a bluetooth mouse on my galaxy mega, but i can't find it on phisical stores... just online!
The bluetooth mouse is great just can't use the keyboard at the same time. Guess I should can get a keyboard that has a built in track pad.
oh, i didn't know i can't use 2 bluetooth devices at the same time... at this point, as you said, a solution could be a keyboard with built-in trackpad. thanks!
Well it's a bit buggy because I can use my Pebble smart watch and mouse fine just having issues with the mouse and keyboard

Working Devices

Belkin F3U047 10/100 Ethernet Adapter working - working (Had to boot into recovery and then reboot before it works. If I unplug Nexus Player and reboot, it stops working until I boot into recovery and reboot again)
Nyko Playpad Pro - Working in G Play games that I have from store etc.. but not so great in some emulators yet (still working on it)
diNova Mini Bluetooth keyboard - Cannot get it connected
Logitech K400 Bluetooth Keyboard - No connection also
I'll update as I try additional devices

Did they make a bluetooth version? I have two K400 keyboards and they are both Logitech Unifying connections; I am using one with the Nexus Player via the USB dongle and it works fine.

xBIGREDDx - My bad. Yes, it is a wireless Unifying keyboard (NOT bluetooth). Nonetheless, mine did not work. I know the dongle is fine as it's recognized by windows, so I'll try again tonight.

Well I've tried two different K400s on two different Nexus Players and had 100% success rate, so don't get too worried yet.

Oh! I missed where you said yours had worked. That's awesome to hear. I'll give it a shot myself when mine comes in. Did you have to do anything special?
Nope. Just pulled the receiver out of my PC and connected it to the Player with an OTG adapter. Works through an OTG hub as well.

My dumbass.... Had wrong dongle.
Found correct one and K400 works.
Sweet! I'm going to use the K700, which came with the Logitech Revue (Google TV). We kept using and were really happy with the Revue, to honest. But it died about a week for the NP went on sale. Timing was perfect, but we balked when it first went on sale, and then it was taken off the market for a few days. I bought a Unifying adapter, and configured the K700 on my PC, and it works great. I also tested it on my Oneplus One over OTG, and it's fantastic. Love that the home and back keys work, and the touchpad.
I've tested a Rii RT-MWK02 Mini Wireless Keyboard and it seems to work fine via Bluetooth - http://www.amazon.com/Rii-RT-MWK02-Wireless-Keyboard-Pointer/dp/B00BVZZG0C
I haven't done extensive testing but it does work.
MOGA Pro controller works. Tested with Modern Combat
Microsoft Wedge Mobile Bluetooth Keyboard --- Working
EDIT:
Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Bluetooth Mouse --- Working Kind of
Found that once it was connected if I activated voice search and then jumped out to the home screen while it was still connected, it would keep the mouse connected... otherwise I would just receive the same error.

Did the menu work as well?
Logitech Dinovo Edge works beautifully
paired the keyboard and it works nicely. installed xmbc through google browser using this keyboard and built in mouse...
K700 Keyboard
K700 Logitech keyboard, that came with the Revue works. I got a cheap Unifying dongle for it, configured/pair them on my PC. And plugged it to a hub via OTG, and it works pretty great. Things like the volume/mute and some Function buttons don't work. But for typing and the D-pad and touchpad/mouse works great.
Installed ES Filemanager, and it can read a USB Flash Drive, and sideload apps from it.
I'm really happy with this so far.
