[Q] torch for miui v2 ?? - Milestone XT720 Themes and Apps

hello, does anyone knows an app so i can use the flash as a torch?? im using miui v2,., thanks

Can't use it that way b/c it isn't LCD, it a Xenon flash. It requires a charge/pulse type thing to run. There is the red light that reduces Red-Eye and a hack to use it as a flashlight posted here-> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1018568

[Resolved] [Idea] Light meter app (using light sensor)

Hi all!
I have idea for new usefull (for me for sure) app to measure light power. It will be very usefull where you must provide very concrete light conditions, like for plants, work places, for in-door projectants, and many other
It will be great if this app can give results in known light units (lux, lumen, candela).
There is app which in some way can realize that - free app from ageye - G-Light. Look on last two lines:
not a perfect solution, but in settings window of Lumos, you can see the current light sensor value (probably in lumens?)
This is light controling app - i don't wanna it. The same unknown vaules i have here in G-Light.
I prefer app only to light metering, nothing else.
I'm interested in the same APP. I have a real luxometre so i can calibrate it if is necessary.
Google for AmigaLux App.............
or google for mtoolbox 0.3 ...
Jaguarlani that is what i lookin for! Thanks mate!
There is link: http://amigapocket.free.fr/amigalux.html
bespinillo - can you check this app acurete with your luxometer?

Welcome........
mtoolbox and amigalux does the same in my acer F900; start and exit quickly.
Both block the gsensor and i must to reset the device after it.
I think tat the problem is that acer does'nt use the same .dll as htc to control the gsensor, ligth sensor and flash led.

[Q] Problem with the white balance of the camera

Hello,
today I found a problem with my new sk17i regarding the camera and the photo that I take.
The problem is: there is a pink-red stain in the middle of the photo when ther is a bit of light.
This problem appears only in daily light and cloudly light mode (and automatic mode obviously).
If I put on the fluorescent mode, the stain disappears.
I cannot attach a photo because im a new user >.<
Any advice?
PS: Sorry for my bad english, im italian! xD
no one can help me?
with my SK17i if I use flash, photo is yellow/golden piss color lol.
I must change light source for get good photo & color

You could use a third party app to fix this problem or use adobe photoshop express and edit the photo from there.

[Q] Green tint photo

When i took a photo with flash, the photo have a green tinted on it (DC 32). without flash not so obvious i think(DC 33). I'm using night elf kernel and rom from Team xperia V01 right now. it is normal?
I'm also have the problem with video chat in G+. before using this Rom, i can join the hangout. The video icon in the red circle (see attchment) seem dissappear now. Is it becausemof the rom or kernal?
I have white balanced your second photo, using the white on your notebooks screens search box.
Does this look right now, if it is, the lights in your room might be confusing the camera`s white balance system.
John
use larut improved camera files it will fix your green tint problem and will also make your images look a tad better
you can find the improved files here
try to take pictures in party mode in camera mode (sorry my poor english, I'm brazilian)
if you do not want to do the above procedure, taking the order "party" will help you to improve the quality of the camera, I noticed also that the pictures taken with ICS are much better.
On ICS: Just flash camera fix v3, fixes everything.

Not on ICS right now. Still on GB. Yes I had tried that larut.apk before but fail to do correctly .
So i had to flashed my phone twice. So i give up to that method. So maybe try to use the party mode and see the result. Thank for the advice guys.

1. Find a nice place without street lights close to you. The darker the better.
2. Use a small tripod. I got one for 6$ on AliExpress.
3. Set the ISO to 50.
4. Usually manual focus and focus on the the farthest possible. It depends on the scene so you can also use auto focua.. I prefer manually so it won't change.
5. Set it to 10 seconds timer , or use voice shutter.
6. Start with around 5 seconds shutter and play with it until you get your desired shot. Play only with the shutter speed.
7. Profit.

The instructions i gave you are for long exposure. I thought that was what you were asking..
Which kind of photography do you want to do on daylight?

Yes and no.
Yes, but not without sonething to block light from the camera. In DSLR we use ND filter. Yoi can search online for how to make ND filter for the camera homemade. I think it is possible to use camera film to block the light but I'm not entirely sure. Google it, I'm sure you will find something. Google "How to make ND filter for my phone".. without blocking light the photo will be overexposed no matter what.

[APP] [Camera2 API Enabled] Asus PixelMaster Camera

The super resolution mode doesn't take pictures as it says. It shoots then without a problem and shows a preview in the bottom right circular preview-cum-gallary button but when opened, it's all just green colour. Can anyone who has tried confirm it? Any workarounds you found would be welcome.

Yes...super resolution just shows green colour when opened. But, in preview area it is showing the image taken
Super resolution will not work on drivers written by third party. Only ASUS camera driver (or blob) can get super resolution working.
However, since our phone wasn't shipped with PixelMaster camera, therefore ASUS never wrote a camera driver with super resolution for our phone, so super resolution will never work on our phone, unless someone cracked the API behind super resolution, but I doubt anyone will be able to reverse engineer to that degree
Camera 2api enable failed in cmd how can solve it suggest me
