Alien ROM provides a concocted stew of Blur, Gingerbread, and Green for your Photon 4G. Motorola's Blur functionality stays intact, but the Alien theme brings a hint of envious green to the party. Don't worry! This ROM's available with the stock Motorola theme if you're not interested in a drastic change.

It's not working when I install! I'm receiving force closes, sitting at bootloops, etc.
Make sure you're installing the ROM correctly. Remember that kernels, MODs, radios, and carriers can mess with your phone.
Where is _________ feature? I'm on the stock theme!
Some features are only available for those on the Alien theme.
Why is my device running/booting slowly?
Your first boot will take an unimaginably long time. After that, your device will continue to run slowly until the application cache is built up. Don't worry, the speed will increase as you use the ROM!
The new Android Market doesn't work for me. Can I get the old one?
Yes! Check the attachments on this thread. Download and install "androidmarket.zip."
How can I block advertisements in applications and browser windows?
Download and install "advertisementblock.zip" at the bottom of this thread.
Where's my bloatware?
Alien deletes unnecessary bloatware that can be replaced by better applications in the Android Market. If you'd like the bloatware back, you can download the "bloatware.zip" from the download website.
Why is my battery life bad?
Your battery life is often killed when flashing ROMs in CWM. For the best battery life, you must drain your device’s battery until it turns off. Plug the device into the AC adapter and let it charge till the image says 100% charged. Then turn it on and use the volume buttons to boot into CWM. Click Wipe Battery Stats under the advanced menu. Then you should charge to 100% and install the ROM. Battery life should be comparable to (if not better than) every other ROM based on 4.5.25.
Why is my data not working?
Networking problems are most often caused by: improper radios, improper kernels (WiFi), the new Android Market, syncing, or international issues. Try flashing the old Android Market below.
Why is there no 4G?
As of now, the unlocked bootloader file disables 4G WiMAX. This issue is not caused or fixed by the ROM.

Almost all of the screenshots were taken using the Android SDK tools. But, one or two were taken with "Screenshot It."

I took out a number of applications from the ROM. The bloatware zip allows users to bring back the deleted applications.
