It works on Xperia X10i. [Edit] NOT When you put Screen off, it automatically switches to Min frequency and set Max also like Min! So in my case if i turnScreen off phone goes 128/128mhz! only way is to change with CPU master or other tool! [/Edit:]
But i miss some things.
1:Change Voltage in 25mV steps, not 50mv!
2: Main screen with Min/max Clock, governor, I/O settings. So that you can change right away.
3: Option to deactivate Status Bar symbol!
4: Profiles with time Limit. (from 1AM to 6AM, i.e.)
greetings Haldi.

I agree with AndroHero, the CPU Monitor is really good but would look much better if you could make it a bit smaller to match the other icons in the status bar and maybe just make it look a little different?

I wish you could turn off the notifaction icon. Its the only reason I uninstalled the app which is otherwise great. Will be following this thread to watch progress. Its also really good to see an app that has so much control over over clock undervolt and being able to test stability. Great work dev!

do you have the file /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/stats/time_in_state ??
there i get the available frequencies
because xperia neo doesnt have
/sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_available_frequencies
can you check this pls. what file is on x10i available ?

[TOOL] SetXperia Overclock/Undervolt Tool

I am not the developer of this app neither I am a developer, however, I foundit to be very usefull and would like to share it.
The app is called SetXperia and can be downloaded for free from the Market.
This app is a modification made by another dev of an app called SetVsel so that it is optimized for Xperia Devices.
While it is not mentioned in the compatible devices list it works like a charm in my X10i with FreeKernel.
The main purpose of the app is to control CPU speed and voltages. Some of the features don't work, but hopefully our devs will take advantage of this app while overclocking our devices.
If you find this post useful please click the "Thanks" button.
This must be in 'themes and apps section'...

I posted it here since its an app to help us with Overclocking which relates directly to development. However, I wouldn't mind if the thread is moved to the Themes and Apps section but I think it will not get attention from the devs if not posted here.
Did you get to try the app? what do you think about it?

Just make sure you create a profile with the appropriate speed before applying the new settings.
I find this app to be very useful since it lets me set the voltages for each supported processor speed.
Sorry to read it didn't work for you.

IncrediControl - Easy control of voltages and kernel settings!

This app allows you to control your CPU voltages with an easy to use interface. You can increase or decrease voltages (undervolt or overvolt) for all frequencies or fine tune voltages for each individual frequency.
! HTC DEVICES !
! ROOT is Required !
! Kernel that supports HAVS or SVS voltage adjustment REQUIRED !
In addition, if you are an Incredikernel user, the app may also be used to toggle Incredikernel specific features on and off, namely USB fast charging and audio boost.
Get it over at http://www.incredikernel.com
IncrediControl is now also available in the market:
IncrediControl (If you have a dual core CPU do not use the market version until v1.5 final is released)
IncrediControl - Ad Free
Additionally, all donators are eligible to receive the Ad Free version. It doesn't matter how much or how little you donate or have donated. If you don't want to purchase the app from the market, you may donate using the button on this page. Please register on the site first and include your username in the comments box.
All previous donators, please register on the site if you have not done so and contact me with your username!
NOTE: It is a requirement of the HAVS adjustment that the kernel you are using has the HAVS sysfs interface implemented. If it does not, it will not work.
NOTE2: Before using, please delete any boot scripts you may have in /etc/init.d that toggle any of the settings this app controls.
Get it at http://www.incredikernel.com
Restore script - use this if you went too low and find yourself in a boot loop. Flash through recovery:

IncrediControl v1.5 beta1:
This is an open beta of the latest IncrediControl. Changes include:
Dual core snapdragon(msm8x60) support
CPU frequency adjustment
Ability to tweak various CPU governors
Numerous bug fixes
Please test and report any bugs in the forum. I have not yet implemented the ability to set governor settings or CPU frequencies on boot. This will be implemented before the final release so please do not report this as an issue.

It might be a permissions thing. I tested on my own internal build. I'll look into it.
New beta posted that fixes compatibility with ziggy's kernels.
Thanks
Thanks for releasing app so fast Chad.
I enjoyed your work on my Incredible and I look forward to your work on the Rezound.
The app makes my life easier, and I've been tweaking it down bit by bit to see how much I can get this phone to sip.
Do you have any plans to do kernels? I'm using Ziggy's which seems to be running fine now (although i had a reboot earlier, but who knows why that happened).
I ran just your kernels religiously on my Incredible and enjoyed the performance and stability.
Regardly, thanks again for all the work you do bro.
Works great!
I would recommend for the Rezound screen size to make the buttons a tad wider. They are rather tiny on this screen and sometimes when i click the voltage adjustment button I click on the value input and go into keyboard entry mode. I have rather smaller hands so i would imaging its more annoying for bigger people.
other than that, great job.
Awesome app. I didn't know you had incorporated cpu controls into it

I get random reboots on Ziggy's no matter what governor and clock speed.
It wipes dalvik cache when it happens too.
If i do a set cpu stress test, and let it sit there, eventually the freeze/reboot happens.
Something about how it's written.

I get it random reboots too, I tried many ROMs out and i still get them. The conclusion I get from it is that we have bad chips.
Ziggy mentioned it had something to do with the cache getting corrupted. Im wondering if regularly clearing it would prevent bootloops from happening

can we apply "save as boot settings" ?
and one more thing. Do we need to apply your setting in both apps i.e. extweaks and voltage control ?

the ExTweaks are recommended.
VC is optional.
I have applied both but it does'nt seems any problem.
GUI has been improved and for battery let me check for a day.
Bechmark result has been decreased to 3438 as previously it was 4410 with same Siyah kernal in GS 2 with Omega V6.0 ICS black blue edition.

Best rom for battery life.

Hey guys I just got revamped and back into the android game with the evo 4g LTE and needless to say I am very pleased with it. The only problem I've run into was that my battery is dropping at quite a high speed(about 15-17% an hour for moderate use.) I am on stock 4.0.3 at the moment. I am fine with stock, and if at all possible I'd like to stay on 4.0.3. But if anyone could redirect me to a rom or kernel or even good settings to arrange to get my battery up to the braggable amount that everyone has been talking about.

Flex stock w/googies ICShas good battery with stock kernel, I have been running viper4g 2.0.2 for the past 3 months on the kernel that installs with it I guess is stock, I get 14+ hours with moderate use and that's with all the automatic sync off on everything and data on all day and when at home wifi on.
I personally like viper because of all the different settings, if you use viper flash "fapple" for the link chooser stuff apple patent

u must got use the phone much with battery life like that!! there's no way your using the phone normal and have 1 day 7 hours and still have more then half the battery life left...
Running stock Jelly Bean on mine, turned off GPS and turned on Power Saver and got about 36 hours of battery life.
I have had good battery life with Viper4G (both with the stock kernel and the Beastmode kernel).
I recently tried Frozen Jelly Belly and am getting really good battery life (over five hours of screen time with charge left over). They use the AwesomeSauce kernel.

Better Battery Life..
This involves under clocking and disabling one core but it will give you 8+ hours with pretty much any JB stockish ROM..
If you are a business user than this is for you. If you are a gamer than not so much..
Obviously you need to be running a rom that is rooted.
You will need the following apps
- Kernel Tuner
- CPU Spy
KERNEL TUNER
1. Install Kernal tuner and CPU Spy.
2. Start up Kernel Tuner
3. Goto CPU Tweaks
4. Set CPU 0 to 384min and 1026max
5. Set CPU 0 Governor to ondemand
6. Set CPU 1 Governor to userspace
7. Press back button
8. Press CPU1 on/off to disable CPU1 (CPU1 should say offline now)
9. Press settings (little rench)
10. Under Boot Settings change Restore Settings After Reboot to init.d script
11. Press back button to exit program
12. Restart Phone
CPU SPY (used for confimation)
1. Go into CPU Spy
2. Press Menu
3. Select Reset Timers
4. Exit program by pressing back
5. GO back into CPU Spy and you will see that percentages between the min (384) and the max (1026)
I am running MeanBean 1.9 getting an average of 12~15 hours of average usage. Your results may vary..
The the min max settings should give you smooth UI and usable business battery life. If your UI is sluggish try Nova Launcher
My 2 cents..

Another vote for MeanROM ICS (I'm running MeanBean now, but I'd stick with ICS until Jellybean Kernel source drops). Also, be aware that asking this question is highly unlikely to get you applicable information, as almost no one will have tried the majority of ROMs out there, and your tower/signal situation may be different from someone else...

Great work, really useful and the layout is ok on my G Watch with 5.1.1w but there's a small bug: if you don't have busybox installed (I forgot to flash the zip after I had to restore because I managed to mess something up) it will FC before starting and telling you that busybox is not installed.
You can install 'Busybox on rails' from playstore... Works fine with wear!

No flashing a ZIP is needed that way...

Well that is true but busybox on rails seems to be missing some commands (one of them being clear and I do use it in most of my scripts just to make it look clean) and I'm also not so sure if the busybox version it installs is compiled with SELinux support and I already have the zip on the watch so that's not a problem, I was just reporting about the app giving a FC, I can uninstall busybox and grab a log of the FC if you would like me to.
Great app thank you!
Wooooow!!
If this app will be a donate only version I will surely buy it!
Awesome work! I've set my SWR50 5.1.1 to 1CPU - NOOP and it's lasting almost a day extra with one charge, that is up to 3 days full!
Keep up the amazing work!
Amazing, a must have. I was using "device control" from playstore, but this is sooo better
Curious if you have any input on using this with a rooted Moto 360. It seems to launch just fine, but there's a white bar that goes horizontally across the bottom and blocks about 1/4 of the screen, so when you select things such as the cpu speed, the top numbers on the scrollable list cannot be seen. One you swipe as if you're going to close the app, you can see what's behind it. Do you know if this app will allow the settings to stick with a Moto 360? Thanks for the help!

Is it normal that only 1 of the 4 cores is enabled by default? I see it on your screenshot as well. However, I don't understand why it would be disabled. Why put 4 core cpu into watch if they don't intend to use all cores?
Also, I recommend using smaller density. Mine is set to 200 on galaxy gear live.

I selected "performance" governor and it still only uses 1 cpu core unless I specifically click to enable other cores. Even pushed cpu to 100% cpu load using infinite loop script and it still only using one core. Which governor is supposed to activate other cores?

No worries, if you need help testing on the Moto 360, let me know, I can side-load a beta version. It's strange, because that white bar goes away as soon as you start to swipe the app as if you were closing it...

Please do me a favour,
Try to disable Beta-Informations under KernelAudiutor-Menu->Settings->Beta-Information; and have a look if the white bar problem is gone...
I think it's a dimension problem with Beta User PopUp Panel...

I did try that, but it is still there. I turned off most of the options on the settings page with no difference.
Hey! Would that work on our android wear Gear 2?
