What's with all the hating seriously I know the background of what happened, but that is a battle between the dev's why is the community getting involved in this. Many of the good developers threads are being rated low and I know its is the users who rate them badly all the synergy threads were rated low and at one time they were 3 stars, the AOSP port which is flawless except for sound and camera is rated 4 star! C'mon these people take their time to build these things for us and this is how we repay them? / rant [my opinion is that they should all be 5 stars]!
I agree that people should not hate on devs or takes sides based on the dev alone all the devs here are great and work very hard for the fun of it. However, some roms deserve better ratings than others, otherwise why have a rating system.

true, but all the synergy roms are great, and also the AOSP port. Some got rated low after all the drama before that they were five stars. Just saying, I'm sure this bothers some of the developers [rating system]

It is so nice for the tg01 developers to kick start this forum again now we have android in developement some fantastic roms off all different kinds, and even wp7. and on the other forums all the apps and themes etc. TG01 has really come to life in 2011 and its still my favourate device so a big huge thanks to everybodys help over the time for creating such wonderful roms and a huge thanks to those developing android on here and over at toshdevs. thanks miro, Nokser, Nyl, Feropont, and the rest of the team

Whoa Mozilla labs has plans to build their own OS based on android. Its just a concept right now but its crazy to see how far technology could go. The original article was on gizmodo but I thought id share since were all bored and arguing around here anyways. If that thing was ever built, it'd be the most expensive smartphone that has ever existed, haha.
Can't imagine the battery life on that thing.
I saw that about a year ago and I don't think we are much closer to it being realistic. It looks amazing but I think we are years away from anything close to that.

Although they don't have the same sensor technology for typing and stuff, you have been able to order phones with built in PICO projectors from overseas forever. I own a Pico projector seperately and it is awesome. Not much bigger than the 3VO. Well, like 3 times thicker, but can fit in your pocket.
Again, they've been making them for years overseas, so why the have to pretend being able to project your phones screen on to the wall is some future concept is silly. I know it has a lot more features than that, so it is a concept phone. But I just think it's interesting that projector part has such a wow factor when they are made everyday.

Its the stock photo editor. While in Gallery you can edit the photo with the s pen...

For future reference it does matter what ROM. You should be able to pull it yourself from another ROM like flappjaxxx's base or the OnlyOne.

I know it matters what ROM I'm using, that's why I said for this instance it doesn't matter. I have that app installed but still no editing like before...even reinstalled it. No difference...

Well to be honest it wasn't what I was looking for, and it's my fault for not knowing what i really needed. but here's a consolation thank you.

why do you wanna make the switch? honestly if the dx2 is your first android phone, try a cheaper replacement (ie fascinate, dx, og droid) those phones arent anywhere as difficult as the x2. plus the og droid & fascinate have unlocked bootloaders and both are running jellybean so why leave the openness and fully user customization of android to the locked down, 'we know whats best for you' apple attitude?
I'm making a switch when the iPhone 5 comes out. My buddy is foolish and is selling me his g nexus for 100 so he can get an iPhone 5.

What do you guys think about google glass? Ive used a pair a few times, someone at the university has one. I think they are pretty sweet to be honest. But I keep reading this crazy reviews about how people are going to be using it for "always on" video recording, discreet photos, surveillance..
And then there are the people who think its going to cause car accidents, promote inattention, etc. Others are complaining about the cost (which isn't even released yet) or the lack of apps (again.. not released..)
I don't understand the constant "doom and gloom" outlook the general population and the media have on this. 90% of their information is plain wrong, and the other 10% is misinterpreted..

There are definitely a lot of people I classify as the "haters gonna hate" category.
half the people using the material strictly for trolling content wake up everyday reading every article in anticipation of getting a pair. But they enjoy having something to troll about and its fuel for the keyboard gangsters.
