Did a quick search and found this: In the Root of your SD card just create a file called "qaWifiOnlyMode.txt" (without the quotes), and inside write this word: "FALSE" (without the quotes) and save it. Now you can download trough 3g. I have attached the file, so just download it and place it in the root of your sdcard. I would recommend clearing the game's data after doing this before starting the game.

No data here as I don't own these games, but here's a workaround for you to d/l via 3G. Hope it helps.

There are plenty of grey market sites with links to the sd data. Use google.

i already tried to google but all i got is empty links.
thanks for suggestions.

cool.that works...d/l in progress now using 3g.thanks mi3x.

Gameloft game data is specific to the device. My data backup from my old Samsung Vibrant caused the games to close on my myTouch 4g Slide.

it worked for nova 2 and modern combat 2 but its not working for new games like 9mm and backstab

Thnx this really helps

If anyone comes to know of a solution to download 9mm (and other new games) data through 3g please let me know

Gameloft Games

Hey guys, is there a way to make Gameloft games, like NOVA 2 and Asphalt 6 work on GS2? I'm just first turned on my new phone, entered the market thinking that I would play high end games I couldn't in my Xperia x10, and I discover that Gameloft games aren't there
You can try using Stock Build.prop to maximise market content.. If there's still stuff missing Market Enabler (free in app store) will let you change country/carrier. If it's Tegra2 games you're after Chainfire3d can duplicate that.

But will this allow me to get games? Does it bypass the market restriction? I ask this because I'm not in favor of pirating games...
Can you teach me how to do those things?
Download Chainfire3d from the market, the search for Nvidia drivers for Chainfire on google, copy them to your phone. install, select the Tegra driver (easy enough to find instructions on Google), then search nova 2 on marketplace, if it allows you to buy and install then you're all good.
Asphalt 6 and nova2 work without the need for chainfire.. you just need to dl them from gamelofts own store.. just google gameloft and you should find them.

Use samsung games hub or gamesloft websight as said above.
Can't it be the market version? You know, I love the easy updates, etc...
I got nova 2 hd from the market, no problems. I am in the uk though, so you may have to use market enabler if it's not showing up.

don't worry about the updates. all gameloft hd games have builtin in-app update functions and regularly check for newer versions.
Issues I have with Gameloft games is.
this is the biggest, load times especially if you pause them and go to homescreen to check a text message or something, then immediately hold down the middle button to return to the game, they take forever to start up again, upto a minute, why on earth is this, on my old Iphone they would resume instantly. This phone is miles better spec inst it?
Also hardly any of them use the gyroscope and when they do its just not smooth enough compared yet again to a year old clunky fruity machine
just don't understand why
Yes, with the demo version I got, NOVA 2 takes a very long time to load...
Trying to set up the Chainfire3d thing to download the games through the market. I preffer it that way... having all apps on one place feels better.
---------- Post added at 03:20 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:00 AM ----------
Even after I put the market to the UK Version, installed Chainfire 3D and enabled nVidia Plugin I can't find the app on my phone and neither am I allowed to buy it from the desktops's browser ¬¬
But isn't it just a demo?

Asphalt 6 is free via the "Samsung Apps" on your phone. I had tried versions via the market and they stuttered. The one via the Samsung Apps is not only free (always liked that price) but more importantly runs sweetly.

There is no where on it that says it is a demo.
To be honest, I am not very good at this type of game and got it for my son to play with. I downloaded it to compare it to the market version.

Please post how you installed them (& links to where they are), because you can't install a bunch of these through the Android Market yet
I've installed:
->CF-Bench (beating SGSII when TP is overclocked to 1.4GHz, woo hoo)
->PowerAMP 2.0 Beta (minor graphical glitches)
->ArchiDroid
->SetCPU
->GameBoid
All in (mostly) perfectly working order.
I flashed gapps after installing CM7 through CWM recovery, and installed all apps below via Market. No issues for me at all with the market except for apps like Facebook. There's a fix for missing apps in the market. Just flash the zip in cwm recovery.
Issue detailed here.

I was able to side-load a Facebook apk, but it FC's as soon as I try to open it. Did you guys that have it working do anything special?
Edit: I uninstalled Facebook and reinstalled it after fixing the market, and it worked. However, if I reboot the tablet, it starts FCing again. I have to install it and install it again for it to work. Weird.
Has anybody tried the Wii Mote app? Does the Wii Mote work?
Just so everyone knows, in case you haven't tried it, you can install apps from your phone by using Titanium Backup (Not sure if it's been mentioned already)...
- Backup using TB on your phone
- Copy TB folder from phone to Touchpad storage (Via PC/Mac)
- Restore using TB on Touchpad
INSTALL GAPPS PAK AND MARKETPLACE FIX FIRST (In Android Thread)
Apps I have working.
All google APPS Including navigator with BT tethered from my Atrix EDIT: BT No longer works after restarts and unpair/re-pair...
everything else seems fine..
EDIT:
Market
Zenonia 3
Destinia
PSX4Droid (runs but my BIN/ECM wont work. They work on my atrix so probably just not compatible yet..)
MKV movies
Facebook (crashes after first use)
Angry Birds
MIUMeet
Hanging With Friends
Words With Friends
SNESoid
SCUMMVM (Nightly build only) ENABLE MIDI CheckBox for TOUCHPAD MODE (Much better than the initial control scheme)
Quest for Glory 1-3
Space Quest 1-5
LANDS OF LORE CD (Talky version) (I DUNNO ABOUT YOU BUT THIS IS AWESOME!!!)
MOBO PLAYER(movies play better)
I plan to add tons more apps tomorrow. Ill make a new post. just wanted to edit this one with updates.
I installed genial writing it works awrsome

Are all of you getting Facebook to work normally. After I install and use it, I then back out of it to close it. When I open it again, it keeps force closing. Only solution is to uninstall and reinstall. But I have to do that every time I wanna use the app. I'm sticking to the website for now.
Also, the XDA app keeps force closing on me when I try to open any thread.
Six axis is compatible!
For Facebook Install fake GPS and set your location and then will work without problems... OMG NOVA 2 works (first of many Gameloft games that i tried)
I've noticed that few of you have installed the Amazon app store. i got it to install, but for some reason, I can't sign in. I can sign in fine on the Amazon website, but not the app. Is there some authentication issues with cm7? anyone else experiencing anything like this?
Did you try my app Task Changer PRO? it works perfectly. Perfect for cm7.
Tweetdeck works

In order to get Facebook working you have to install the app "fake GPS" from the Market and set a faked GPS location.
After i did this Facebook works fine for me.

All gameloft games not supported

Hello I have a GT-I9100P (Orange) with a 2.3.4 gingerbread official (not rooted , no cyanogen) and every single gameloft game does not work , when i launch either modern combat or nova or 9mm or asphalt any game from gameloft it says that my device is not supported , and i dont know what to do.
It seems that Gameloft doesn't know, what GT-I9100P (Orange) is. Can you download it from market?
nope either does not show up in search or says incompatible.
I had problem with gameloft games too. I tried to install Let's Golf 3, but i couldn't find it on market from phone. I found games instalation file and could install and run it. I also have rooted my phone and installed CyanogenMod7. So this does not seem the same problem.
well the only game i got working is modern combat 3 , I had to root my phone then use titan backup to make the game launch in offline mode only. So the check dissapears and I get to play the single player portion of the game , though i cant find similar methods to other games.
Try if this works:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=20904858
first backup, because phone might not boot up, because of wrong values.
There is also link to my post. Thy your luck
Open /system/build.prop
Search for "checkjni", change value to 0. This applies for modern Combat and Google Earth and probably many other apps
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk
there is no such line in the file , should i create that line?
Have you tried downloading the games directly from Gameloft website?
I couldn't find Let's Golf 3 on Market, but I went to its website and now I've got it installed and running on my SGS2.
I tried but the gameloft does not support the phone model so i cant get passed that screen , BUT yesterday I installed ICS and all gameloft games worked , probably because after flashing the build.prop was changes ( i dont actually now i just think that it did) but i didnt like that some functions dont work so i reflashed back to stock , so the games stopped working , so im thinking if i find what to do in the build.prop file , i would be able to play gameloft games.
See if change ro.product.model= line in build.prop to GT-I9100 helps.
got it resolved , flashed cyanogenmod 9 to my phone , now all games work fine.

[Q] game asking to activate internet connection

hello i have a problem with my game.
i already install hawx from gameloft and able to play it on my xmp smoothly until i try unmount my sd card from setting then mount it again and then my hawx game ask to activate my internet connection to register the copy of my hawx game.
what must i do ?
thanks in advance
If you have bought it legally from Market, then there is no problem with registering the product.
If there is no chance to bypass it, then you can't play. There are some games, that just prevent it.

[Q&A] [SOLVED] EA Games 5002 Error

Hallo.
Today i had the "Server Error 5002" after i installed the game EA NBA JAM.
If you google or browse this forum you see that there are a lot of people with that problem. That's why i start an new topic.
EA offered a workaround (copying data from another device) but there were also some users who just changed the displayresolution.
Yesterday i installed a new NXT ROM (Android 4.0.4) with that navigation bar at the bottom of the screen.
I detected that this bar needs 10 pixels, so the resolution used by apps was only 480x844.
SOLUTION: When i disabled the bar, i had 480x854 and then i the Server Error 5002 did not accure anymore!
Thanks for that!
Monopoly + nexus 4... i was in fullscreen mode with paranoid droid rom and i switched off the expanded desktop i manage to download the files
Thanks alot for this fix mate!
This method really helps. Thanks.
could not download nxt Rom and run the game
Yesterday I download nba jam but I am having the error 5002 also I am not able to download nxt rom please please help me......

Seems that it's a good time to revive such an old thread. Maybe it can help some people out there still facing these kind of problems, like me.
Today i wanted to try EA Dead Space on my Redmi 4X phone. I had bought it from playstore a long time ago and played a bit on my older devices. But this time it gave a server error 5003 when i launched it on my Redmi 4x (SD435, 1280*720p) running on MIUI8.5 Marshmallow. So it couldn't download additional required game data and i had to quit game.
While searching about this error, i found a solution which helped me right away. Thus i want to share it here for other users which may encounter similar issues on several EA Games like The Sims, FIFA 12, NBA Jam, NFS Most Wanted, Dead Space, Mass Effect, Real Racing etc.
1) Turn OFF your wi-fi and open the game. (IMPORTANT: Do NOT launch the game when your WiFi is already active!)
2) In game it will ask you to connect to wifi or 3g (or something like that) or cancel it. YOU MUST CONNECT TO WI-FI.
3) When you press the wi-fi button it will redirect you to your wi-fi tab in settings. So open your wi-fi and press several times BACK until you go back to the game! ( DON'T PRESS THE HOME BUTTON!!!!!!)
4) When you'll be back in game it should automatically pop a window which says if you really want to download the game and the space it requires. PRESS DOWNLOAD.
5) Let your game download the data.
6) Have fun playing the game.
The original post can be seen in the link below, I just edited a little, thanks to @eXezeSt :
http://answers.ea.com/t5/Need-for-S...eed-most-wanted-error-5003/m-p/3853025#M11378
This method solved my server error 5003 problem for Dead Space on my Redmi 4X. But similar problems might also be solved by:
1) Previously downloading and locating game data in the right folder, before launching the game (Alternative to EA servers).
2) Tampering with screen resolutions.
Good luck to all.
PS: Unfortunately, Dead Space has a very serious buzzing sound (noisy static audio) problem in newer android versions since Lollipop, but that's another issue:
"The Android version has been discontinued for newer devices and renamed zzSunset Dead Space™, however, newer devices running Android Lollipop can run into major problems with audio."
