Well, after I installed the VillageRom 2.4.2, Im missing the Norwegian layout on the samsung-keyboard.
I got the Norwegian layout on swype, but i want it on the standard keyboard layout.
So anyone got a clue?

I just flashed the wonderful "TPC Elite v3.1 Full with manila". But I have one big problem. The physical keyboard does not work as it should. I am swedish and thus have a swedish keyboard. And now I cannot write numbers nor the last characters in our alfabeth å, ä, ö. What can I do to solve this? Do I need to install a swedish ROM in order to get the physical keyboard to work? In that case, what is the best and newest swedish ROM? I would really like to keep this ROM, but it is hard when I cannot even write numbers. Thanks in advance for your help!

Its because most rom not only the language is to be set, also it is set to qwerty instead to qwertz (Fuze Keyboard Layout)
Try this CAB it works for my german rom, it lets the FN Button to work correct.
Thank you very much for your advice and links! I have tried several methods this afternoon but with no success. The numbers I now can write, but the letters are still not mapped correctly. I will try again later, but it is a pity that it cannot be done easier.

I bought an official ORFR Atrix, and Iflashed on CherryBlur v1.4d.
This rom is very good, but I have a little issue :
I've also bought a laptop dock with an azerty keyboard, but the webtop is in english, and the keyboard layout is english US qwerty, and I can't change it...
Do you know a way to change it ?

Edit : I still have the issue, the laptop keyboard list remains empty...
This fix works, but only for firefox, not for mobile view (sms, emails...)
and I must do this fix each time I connect my phone... is there a way to add the french azerty keyboard to the list ?
please help me, my laptop dock is completely useless now... :'(

And i found the solution:
Found the files: azerty.kl (PM to send to you)
And copy to
/system/usr/keylayout/
Reboot the atrix, et choose azerty keyboard in external keyboard setting .

Hello, I would like to add "Français (Canada)" language to a rom, because it use a QWERTY keyboard.
I did try to copie /system/customize/* (not resource) and /system/usr/keychars/* and /systen/usr/keylayout/* files to my current rom, but it didn't worked.
It's more for the QWERTY keyboard that I need it.

Hi guys, I'm the developer of SaNgO Vizion.
I actually develop my ICS rom, but I'm really frustrated by a problem , I explain :
In english, the keyboard is QWERTY. In french, that's AZERTY.
The samsung keyboard of ICS is not the same as the samsung keyboard in GB, the "m" letter is not a the same place and I really can't wrote something if this letter is here...
So I've replace the apk of the samsung keyboard by the samsung keyboard on GB ( AxT9IME.apk ).
The letter is now at the good place, but big problem : we see the letter a the good place, but when I beat the "m" letter, there is a "n" who is wrote, when I beat "z" there is a "x"...
So, I must found what's the file who is associate to the keyboard...
If someone know what's the file(s), tell me please...

These are flashable zips to change keyboard layout on MiniCM7 or any MiniCM7 based ROM
So far : English QWERTY,Greek QWERTY and Brazillian QWERTY.Suggest more languages.
I have so far made Qwerty English and Qwerty Greek and Qwerty Brazillian!.Start saying languages!

Guys I'm updating the zips because I think i did something wrong.Now you are going to have these hardware keyboards : Arabic,Brazillian (I set it to qwerty-br I dunno if its the one needed),Cyrillic,English,Greek and Hebrew.

Can anyone provide me update.zip for changing keyboard. I am on MiniCM7 with nAa kernel. I need any keyboard or Sony Ericsson keyboard so that on-screen as well as physical keyboard should work fine. With android keyboard selected...one can not access special characters on physical keyboard with bottom right key named "Sym". Every time one has to change the default input for accessing symbols and special characters with physical keyboard.
There may be some thread regarding this but I am not able to get what to do.

I have a mini pro, currently with nAa-11 kernel and MiniCM7-2.2.0
The german umlauts work with SYM-Key on physical keyboard, but the the system uses qwerty-layout instead of the physical qwertz.
I'd like to test what you offer if it would contain germany qwertz for mini pro
