I mean the type that just covers the edges and back of the phone to protect it from knocks

I've only seen PDAir leather case, its beautiful.
There are no Slim cases yet, or not much.
But acer promised to promote the rerelease of the Liquid E much more.
I gues we'll see several ones after the release of Acer Liquid E.

I suppose that all we can hope for is that as the phone has more buyers and users the aftermarket will see producing extras as a commercial proposition

I'm afraid the silicone cases will have problems with the flush buttons on the Liquid. You'd have to dig your fingernails inside to push them.
The only thing I would be interested in getting is a camera lens cover since it seems that could get scratched easily.

Hi I received the Silicon Case from Hong-Kong a week ago.
It fits very well the the Acer Liquid and I have no problem at all with the buttons.
I'm very satisfied with it. You can have to combine it with a screen protector to complete the protection.

I confirm what you say. I'm very satisfied, I also found an improvement with the on/off button: now i "feel" it because the case has a little "step" on it: it's so easier to press.

I bought the one off eBay dancerobot recommended. It fit the phone well but when in my pocket, buttons would be easily pressed (including the damn power button).
I got the one off of eBay as well, it fits perfectly. It was about $13.00 CDN and came with 2 additional screen protectors and a little lanyard thing that I don't have a lot of use for.
It took about 10 days to come from Hong Kong. The pleasant surprise was their was no duty or HST due when it was delivered. Usually things ordered international have duty and GST/HST owning.

I've thrown out silicone cases, because of this.

I purchased one of the Chinese ones as well and it took 3 weeks to get to me.
It's cardboard with a Pleather wrap which was fine but the tablet squeezes in so tightly that the top of the leather bows downward.Not a good fit or look at all.
There is a velcro band/strap on the left side that holds in the tablet.The foldover stand is ok but overall this to me is a POS.
I ordered one from another ebay vendor for 39.95 which is supposed to be a custom fit.We'll see.

I have used extreme guard on all my devices for years, I even had it on my Note 3, I have 2,, me and my wife... but 3 months ago, my cousin found someone on ebay, lucky he was close to our neighborhood, and delivered the protectors...
It is even better, its the tempered glass... cost 10 bucks each.. feels so smooth and so real... this is my 3 phone, my 2nd replacement from my original Note 3, and this is the same tempered glass... I must have took it off over 20 times, because and eyelash fell in, some little dust, and I removed it and took off the little specs and it still looks great.. except on the lower right corner has a little air pocket, but remove it about 20 times.. I don't care about it anymore.. this is the guy, I couldn't find the Note 3, but we have bought 3 Note 3... 2 S4, and 1 for HTC One M7, and 1 or the Note 2... also 2 iPhone 5s..
My cousin actually dropped his getting out of his SUV.. all that happened was the screen shattered,,, well not the screen the temper screen, that is what is supposed to happen, the temper glass is supposed to protect the original glass, he didn't have a case...
I sold my Note 2 to my other cousin in March, she still has it on.. no problems.. the guy is cool is all I can say, none of us has a scratch on the glass... it is awesome,

They are very nice, I put one on my wife's S5 a while ago and really like it. It's a nice fit with barely any gap between the edge and the bezel, also the edge of the glass is rounded with a nice smooth finish.

I paid for the 2-5 day USPS package shipping, but the shipping confirmation email states they shipped it via the 6-10 day regular envelope method.
Is it just a canned response email and the shipping i chose was used or did i get screwed out of 2 bucks? I know its not a lot of money, but its still something i paid for so i am curious. I dont want to end up with a damaged tempered glass protector like the last one i got from Amazon which was shipped in an envelope.
Anyone able to tell me if this fits with an Otterbox commuter? Before i order something from the other side of the planet
(6 quit shipping, that's the price of the product, bloody hell. Books weight 50 times more and ship for free...)

I also got a similar email, however when I checked under my account on their website, there is a tracking number available. So I guess this email is an auto-generated one which gets sent to all once the item is shipped. You should check under your account on their website for more information.

Pretty much the same one is $3.78 with free shipping on ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/271867174414 That's the one I'm using and it works ok...they now also have hard plastic ones on ebay for $2.59 [ http://www.ebay.com/itm/31136984068...49&var=610459552705&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT ] but they are non transparent colors. I went with a matte black.
This is what I got, I don't like the snap on ones because they don't protect as much if it falls.

I'll have to answer this after I get back from vacation as that case and another are sitting at home..delivered while I was gone. I'm currently using the clear tpu case.
They're exactly like the Incipio Feather cases. Actually not bad for $3 shipped. A little bit of a sharp edge on the bottom of mine, but the cutouts are perfect. Fit is snug.

official transparent case now available - but I didn't like it
The official transparent case became available directly from Alcatel's own web store about a week or 10 days ago.
I ordered one, got it in, but I didn't like it.
It fits well. Seems well made. But two problems.
One - it's really shiny, slick, makes the phone really easy to slip out of my hand.
Two - the parts of the case that wrap around the sides are absolutely flush with the front, they don't stick out at all past the front, which is nice unless you put the phone face down: they don't provide for any clearance between the glass and the surface where you've set it down.
I'm going to send this case back.
Well its a start at least…should hopefully arrive the same time as my Find N does. I was hoping for the Oppo version but cant seem to find that one anywhere.

I generally like the carbon/aramid fiber cases; minimal (just enough for me) protection, but adds very little to the weight or bulk. Just ordered this, though not sure of the quality yet - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003752292606.html
With my Note 9, i use the same case.
It"s wonderfull and light but if the phone touch the ground, i'm not sure for real protection ... i think it's OK for little scratchs but not more.
For those interested, I ordered a cheap case from AliExpress a while back when the Find N first came out and there were no cases available. It was only £5, and expected it to be cheap and nasty, but better than nothing while I waited for more/better cases to come on the market. It arrived today, and I'm pleasantly surprised; it's not half bad. Yes, it's is still a bit plasticy, but the back has what I imagine a DBrand skin might look/feel like and has a leather texture to it. It's also fits well and is precisely machined with no sharp edges. All in all I'm quite pleased for £5, even though it took 3 weeks to get here. It will do while I wait for my carbon fiber case/cover.

Apparently both screens have a thin screen protector on, though I can't tell other than the outside one seems to pick up finger print smudges more than glass would. One of the YouTubers dropped theirs and peeled off the outer one. I might do that someday, but happy to leave it for now.
I ordered a tempered glass screen protector separately and also I might order an ESR stick on kick stand I've used before; I'll post links later.

Here is the kickstand link - https://smile.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08FB5GWZZ - photos attached on an old cover/phone. You just stick it on to whatever cover you use. It's quite slim, bit still sticks out a bit; though with the camara bump on the Find N it might be similar anyhow. Not quite as good as an integrated cover with kickstand (if you can find a cover you want with a kickstand), but its the next best thing, and you can use any cover. Depending where you attach it, it can get in the way of wireless charging though. The adhesive is very strong, and the stand has never come off.

Very nice ! I think to find another sellers with Aliexpress more cheaper is possible.
There is 2 versions of this case and the second has littles holes for cameras.
For me, i wish brillant carbone and not mat ... But not available as this time.

Yes, I saw the other cheaper sellers, but they didn't have real pictures of the case on the phone, and the pictures they did have, the quality looked a bit off. They are probably fine, but given it is about £10 difference, and it takes 3 weeks to arrive, I didn't want to take the chance. Ironically the sellar I bought from had real pictures of the case with the camera cut outs and the one I received doesn'tcover the camera at all, though it is slightly raised around the camera so when you put the phone down the lenses don't touch. I was originally hoping for the one with the cut outs; but I think I actually prefer the one without; it shows off the phone a bit more.
The malt brown looking carbon fiber case for the Samsung Fold 3 does look lovely (if that is the one you're talking about?), but I haven't seen that colour of carbon fiber anywhere else unfortuantely, though if you find it for the Find N please post!
This seller is too much expensive but carbon/aramid also in colors red and blue ... But this 2 colors at this time out of stock ... Maybee available very soon ?

Thanks, they do look nice. But as you say, quite expensive! Tempted though; will wait and see if the price goes down!
