[Q] Using our own Unlock_Code.bin a possibility? (Dev's please see this) - HTC EVO 3D

I was wondering if anyone has thought about looking into how htc takes our device id tokens and turns them into the unlock code? or is the unlock code just a generic "everybody gets the same thing" kinda deal? Call me crazy, but if each device needs a specific unlock code, couldn't we in theory compile id tokens and corresponding unlock codes and try to figure out how htc gets from A (id token) to B (unlock code). If anything, the least I could see coming out of this would be being able to unlock 1.5 without htc having a device id

[Q] How to find unlock code after root?

Hi,
I read in SuperOneClick thread that we can extract unlock code after root but it doesn't explain how.
Phone locked to Telus.
Please and thanks!
I don't think so, that it is possible, because this code (operator lock) is independent on system itself. It is most probably stored in GSM module of phone device and its unreachable by standard way.
I'm not sure with this, but code, which you mentioned is probably some kind of code for unlock device for firmware update/upload for some devices.

I believe I was given the unlock codes for my phone but the phone does not asking for an unlock code is there a way to manually type it? all I get is no signal...

[Q] Problems unlocking boot loader/invalid token id

Hey all. So I just bought a used evo lte off of eBay. I tried unlocking the boot loader with htc dev unlock, but every time I enter in the unlock token command in fast boot, it says remote token check failed. I went online and found out that the board inside the phone may have been switched by a phone repair shop, and that could be why the token number doesn't match the one htc has on file. Is there any fix to this? I really want to flash some roms on this thing.
the toke is generated everytime you run the command, try on a different PC maybe or run one of those auto-rooters. cant remember the name of it

Can't get htcdev unlock boot loader to work

I've tried on 3 different computers today and I'm having a lot of problems with the htcdev site. Especially with logging in. But the main problem when I finally reset my password and login is once I get to the identifier token part I successful get mine in fastboot and I paste it. Then I submit and the site just hangs. I've tried like 5 times and I'm thinking it has to be their site. I've done this before but it was on my old phone desire 601, this is on the replacement I'm simply trying to unlock the boot loader shouldn't be this hard.
Please help. Now the site seems to be working but the damn thing is saying my unlock token is wrong as in too long. Bull crap it's exactly how they say set it up. Can anyone share their unlock bin with me damn it this is so annoying!!!

HtC is more commited to GCHQ and NSA than to development so you must use the same computer to log into your email that you used to receive your token.

Problems with unlocking bootloader

Hi there! I tried today unlocking bootloader on my HTC Desire 300 but it didn't work. I went to HTCdev site, made an account, logged in with it but the moment I log in it just logs me out so I can't even get to ,,unlocking bootloaderĖ.
Please help.
can you post the steps that you tried and the errors when it didn't work? Do you have an unlock code? How about one of the other sites offering unlock codes for HTC devices?

I decided to go with these instructiones ,,http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2602301'' and, according to them, first I have to unlock bootloader with HTC dev but I was unable to do that so right now I'm not sure what to do (I'm just a newbie in all of this so...XD).
When I first tried to log in HTCdev on Firefox it wouldn't let me (because the connection was not secure). Then I used Internet explorer and it would log me out whenever I log in.
Is there some other way to unlock bootloader so that I don't have to go to HTCdev?
you should be able to obtain the unlock code elsewhere.
