In regards to those drawing apps, do they work well for handwriting on other tablets?

Good question.is there someone who has transformer to test it on?
Otherwise I've tested my Samsung galaxy s phone and even with single core processor the lag there is negligible. There is diverging, but it us able to d recognize my handwriting. But of course this phone has cm7 and not original firmware
I wonder how I could send this video to Samsung and report a bug.I did not find any relevant email address

The reason I ask is that I purchased Asus Eee PC (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003D1DZBY) back in 2010 intending to use it for handwriting and mathematics. Well, it was unusable for both. So if a resistive touch screen PC, designed and marketed for writing, can't do a good job, then I would be surprised if any of these tablets could. I am hoping that I am wrong

[Q] 7 inch model?

I'm really interested on finding a 7 inch version of the Prime. With or without a dock is ok with me. I'm mostly looking for the quad core tegra3 with the quality feel of the Prime.
I've seen rumors of a google collaboration, but is that the only hope that I have? Also, as much ad I would love a keyboard dock it's not required for my purposes.
I'm trying to help the opentablets.org guys get Plasma Active working on the Prime and would love to add a 7 inch version to experiment with.
Thank you all in advance for your help. And I sincerely apologize if I've overlooked this question being answered already as I've been unable to find this info.

MHL Lag

So, I picked up the samsung smart dock to play emulators, games, etc. but I'm getting some pretty bad lag.
Its not choppy, just delayed from what I see on the TV.
I've tried enabling game mode on my TV so the post processing is disabled, and I've tried just using a plain LCD monitor but the lag is still there.
Recently, I switched to the beans rom and that helped the lag a lot, but, its not quite gone.
I noticed that in this forum: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1712902 a kernel dev was able to change the refresh rate to get rid of the lag.
Do any of you know of any other ways to get rid of the lag or should I wait to see if a dev here incorporates something similar?
If an dev here can't fix it, then its impossible lol.
Ok OP I have the official MHL adapter on it's way to my house as we speak, hopefully it gets here in the beginning of next week so I can test and confirm what the problem is.
The post you linked to describes a refresh rate issue, which is not the same as lag. What's happening for that guy is his screen output is being capped at 24 fps which is horrible for gaming/interaction.
Once I get mine hooked up and tested on my monitor I will be able to confirm exactly what the phone is outputting and from there we can see what needs to be fixed.
I thought so, but, wanted to be sure.
Thanks for taking a look at the issue, any help is appreciated!
What I've experienced, is that on stock, lag was terrible, close to 500ms.
On CleanROM 4.0.5, it wasn't much better.
On Beans it was much better, closer to 100-200ms.
I haven't tested with my S3 yet, but I suspect there may be similar lag since the hardware is similar.
Are you sure it is not the TV? I'm not familiar with MHL but maybe it is a defective dock.

It's not the TV, verified with various other inputs, Xbox and PC on HDMI. I also verified the galaxy with a separate LCD with no post processing abilities using the official Samsung MHL adapter.

Help regarding Android Mini PC MK802 IIIS

Hey XDA!
I've bought an Android Mini PC MK802 IIIS model so I could watch mostly Netflix on my TV, however I have several problems.
First of all, the subtitles from Netflix are just waay too small, i can't even read them from my couch. I've Googled and search on XDA but I couldnt find a solution. Isnt there any way to increase the subtitle size? Or just increase overall size, so you eventually can resize before/after you've watched Netflix..? If any developers are reading this, It'd also be very nice if someone could perhaps edit the apk and increase the size this way..? At least I'd be very thanksful for that.
Second of all, the MK802 is very unstable for me. It keeps crashing the apps, and restarting it self several times pr. hours. It interrupts when I watch movies, when I browse or whatever I'm doing. It gets pretty annoying and I was wondering if it is defect or MK802 mostly are very unstable..?
Anyone else at XDA who has this device and what are your experience with it?
Also, it would be very nice with its very own subforum, but I guess there are too few of us with them, that it is possible..?
Thank you very much! - Any help is appreciated!
EDIT: I'm sorry if this isnt the correct place to put this thread, but it was the most obvious place for me at least.

Your netflix works? I have the same unit (I actually have both an mk802II and a mk802IIIs). Mine just sits at the "loading" screen after I make a selection. Another issue I've noticed is ampdroid doesn't seem to work on the mk802IIIs (but works fine on my mk802II).
Overall I'm not having many stability issues, love the mk802IIIs remote off my smartphone using gsensor

hmmm ???
Ok im hoping to at least get some feedback - Im new to the Mini PC thing - and was actually thinking of picking up the rikomagic mk802IIIS or even a Zealz GK802 or mk808B. but im totally confused and wondering about capability. These things look pretty cool... id like to play around with one of these and try to use it as a media server (music, video, secure ftp) which of the following devices would be best suited to this? I know some are easier to root and get linux installed un them but if someone cold point me to a better place to inquire more about the capability of such devices that would be great. At the moment as far as a dual core that can support Ubuntu based distro it would appear that these 2 devices ( mk802 IIIS & MK808B) appear to be the best from a hardware perspective until the rockchip 3166 comes out or a version of linux is able to run on the GK802, but in case i over-looked some other option or what not which of these would be a good fit for a low-power media server?

Rikomagic mk.. IIIS

Hey all just a few quick questions on this product. I am interested in the prospect of android tv and eventually come to the conclusion this is the best stick available. A fair price for a powerful little guy!
My queries are with the compatability, I have studied the Rii mini keyboards and found the i8 to have the best design but the i6 had backlit keys (a feature I desire).
Can anybody recommend the best keyboard for the job? One that really takes advantage of the Android side of life eg. Mighty text app use from my tv ect.
If anybody knows of an app that would allow simple but efficient use of my galaxy note as the keyboard and mouse that would also be appreciated, as it would definitely be a short term solution!
Thanks for the help in advance! I you guys always know the way to go

Check out DroidMote. It should let you use one Android device to control another.

[Q] Nexus 9 for presentations

I was wondering if anyone is using the N9 for presentations like PowerPoint? I have found that the N9 does not support Mircast or hardwire connections to projectors and I am completely taken back by this. I would never have expected this from Google, especially since they marked the N9 as a productivity tool.
I was using my Samsung Note 10.1 but it is stuck on 4.1.4 or something like that I have not rooted obviously. But it casts to Mircast and it own Samsung cast system. The problem is that it can not take advantage of the new PPT apps like the upgrade Polaris. You need at least 4.2.
So now I have a great device that can use the office apps (the real office is come soon for free) and I can not project.
Anyone have some uplifting thoughts on this?
dave
do a search for "Chromecast without WiFi" I could swear I read something recently that will let you cast directly to the CC. also.. you could consider one of the travel router options that let you have your own local firewalled WiFi setups/repeaters.. run about 40$. I'm already looking into them and will report back what I find.

I actually put in a couple of chromecasts to the TV screens at work for this purpose. wish google came up with an offline feature for stuff like this.
