Got a question, if I got a euro EVO 3d then if i root and flash a different radio will it pick up different signals to better support it here in the USA or am I just stuck on edge??. If not is there any software adjustments that can be made to make it pick up at least 3g??
pretty sure it doesn't have the right radios, it'll work on t-mobile though.

lol no it IS a hardware issue. at&t is on 850/1900mhz bands for 3g whereas t-mobile and almost all UK 3g onese are on 1700/2100mhz.

I owned htcdev.com and htcdev.net and sold it to htc, part of the the package deal was to to send some items as well working on the sprint network. one of the items they sent was a evo 3d non-sprint gsm

The poll has really shocked me . I thought Cdma would be much much more but apparently not. now may be more devs will come to the gsm android development side .

GSM here in OZ. I did hear a comercial on the radio saying Telstra is starting 4G roll-out, so maybe soon.
I'm actually kinda surprised at how many have the GSM version. For all that, why not just wait a few extra weeks and get the GNex which just released in Europe.
it seems that no CDMA users here cuz they are bussy rooting and s-off ing and trying new ROMs not like us GSM users we are just jumping around topics looking for something fitting our version and now we lost hope of devlopment section and we are looking for MODS in general section

I was a loyal sprint costumer for 7 years. My sister couldn't afford the bill no more, so she let it get cancelled. But before she did, I rushed and got an AT&T (Fusion 2) GoPhone and ported my number to it.
Long story short. Help me make the right dissension now.
I have a new refurbished HTC EVO 4G LTE with clean ESN because I turned it in w/ bestbuy warranty and they gave me a new one.
Can I unlock the EVO to AT&T prepaid? I was reading that I can't w/ AT&T correct? So what are my other options to go prepaid with my EVO?
I prefer Verizon prepaid since sprint towers don't get good reception. Please link me to the right thread if I'm on the wrong one. Thanks!

And no, AT&T won't work. Sprint is CDMA, whereas AT&T is GSM. The two are totally different and not compatible with one another.
