ICS audio files - Streak 5 Themes and Apps

leaked here..
http://www.mydroidworld.com/forums/...xus-prime-audio-files-ice-cream-sandwich.html

I made them into a flashable zip file....enjoy!
My apologies to anyone who had flashed this. The original file I posted overwrote the stock UI sounds (screen lock, camera button, etc) with the ICS ones. I have since changed it and the ICS_Audio.zip will now only add the ringtones, alarms, and notifications from ICS. It will not overwrite anything. If someone had flashed my original ones and wants the Stock UI sounds back, I've attached it in a flashable zip too.

How does this help the streak?
Sent from my Dell Streak using xda premium

The same way changing colors and stuff helps the streak. This is the theming section and is all about customization. Someone, like me, might actually like some of the new sound selections.

Thanks for the explanation and for correcting the d/l files above.
kraz
ICS notifications sound muffled and have heavy bass undertones making my ext. speaker sound blown. Is that how they sound for others, or is my speaker malfunctioning? All my original notifications sound fine.

Yeah, this soynds funny but thanks anyway. Great preview. Keep them coming

could you do this package for clockwork

According to lordmorphus, they already are flashable. Meaning you should be able to install them through StreakMod.

Just for clarification, my flashable file only flashes the ringtones, notifications, and alarms from ICS and doesn't overwrite anything. These would just be additions. The stock ui flashable reflashed the stock ui sounds (screen lock, keypresses, etc). In my opinion, the ui sounds for ICS are just flat horrible. However, there were some cool ringtones, etc.

Blue Breeze Clean Rom

Now that some cool things for the Fascinate are starting to show up, I kinda pieced some things together from different sources to come up with my perfect rom (for today anyways ).
I have been running jt1134’s Super Clean D101 rom for awhile now. I found that I like some of the Samsung stock apps that were removed from his rom a little bit better. I found that I really liked the stock clock, music player, and messaging (with the swipeable features). So I added those back in.
Also added was the Blue Minimalism v1.3 Theme for a little blue, and the black notification bar with the see-thru drop down menu from the “Blackmod”. It also has the stock, non-puzzle, unlock screen with blue.
The kernel is stock with no oc.
Just trying to share what I like at the moment. I take no credit other than mixing up some ingredients on work others have done. The credit really goes to:
Jt1134. For that awesome clean rom tons of us have been using lately!
Raiderrep. For porting over the blue minimalism v1.3 theme (thanks to the original developer)
Stanrc. For the black notification bar and clear notification drop down menu.
DroidX007. For pulling the stock Samsung apps out for use and for being brave to test the blue minimalism theme out.
This is a clockwork recovery file. Unzip and put file inside into your SD card/clockworkmod/backup file and restore from menu. If someone knows how to switch it over to an update file, or show me how to do it, that would be great.

Here is in a .zip format. Hopefully that will allow to download directly to your phone.

Very very nice. I don't think I'll be flashing it though. I like the puzzle unlock screen and some of the bloatware that gets removed in this. I also like the neon blue loading screens, but I want to make them darker. I didn't think I wanted anything TW on my phone when I first got it but a few aspects of it have grown on me.
EDIT: We live in the same city :O I think I will flash this. I love blue. But what all gets removed, and what happens if I have certain things frozen with Titanum? Will they just be left alone?
Well man from the Burg, make sure you do a back up first of what you got before you flash any rom. That way, if you ever need to get back those programs, you are safe.
I dont use Titanium but I would assume the files will still remain in you backup folder. When they are frozen, the arent deleted. So as long as you keep that backup file untouched, you should be able to restore those through Titanium as well.
As for everything that is removed, the base rom is Jt's and you can see it here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=796171
All the essentials are there. Jt just removed a lot of the stuff that really was bogging down the system. He also removed some of the Samsung TW style apps and replaced them with stock android apps. I put those back in as listed in the OP.
Do a backup, flash it then you if you like it you can start adding anything deleted back into it with Titanium.
Also, in Jt's op linked above, you can get the puzzle screen lock back.

Alright. I hate the bloatware but I'm keeping it frozen so the Froyo update will be easy. I'm flashing now.
EDIT: Finally got it to run. Will this remove my lag fix?
EDIT 2: Why is everything wiped? I was not expecting that...
After restoring, backing up my contacts, and re-flashing, my contacts restored but my apps decided not to. But the phone just feels...faster. Do I need to restore, backup, and flash again?
Looks nice but I am not smart enough to make this work.

Use Titanium to reinstall all your apps. When you flash roms, you get real good at reinstalling your apps and settings. Hint, if you use LauncherPro or ADW, there is a backup function that will back up your screens exactly like you had it!
You should be much faster. JT really streamlined this rom. I love what he did!

Awesome, thanks!!!! How has battery life been for you? I have tried the deodexed version and it seemed to go down for me...so I reverted back to odexed. But, want to stay up to date.
Battery life on my Fascinate has never been the greatest but I didn't notice a difference when a switched to a deodexed Rom.
I've read the horror stories but not with my phone. Plenty of happy people on this forum who havent had a problem with the new deodexed roms either.

where may i get that pls??
I would love % on battery...otherwise it's awesome!!!!! Thanks.
I have not tried this rom, but I assume its deodexed because steeeler is using Jt's deodexed super clean rom. with add mods and tweaks like Raidereps Blue Minimalism theme and other sources as well that he listed at the OP. It looks like it should be a pretty straight forward rom its just not a zip file so it will be installed differently thru CWR.
Cheers

Is there anyway to put the visual voicemail back in to prevent the dialer from crashing. If you touch the voicemail button the dialer will crash. That was my issue with JT's rom. I can't seem to get voicemail back in....
Otherwise this is a great rom. Thank you....

Good catch, first time I heard of that problem. I always just use the quick dial 1 to go to voicemail.
I wonder if it has something to do with the deodexing. This is a different dialer than on Jt's.
I'll poke around his thread to see if anyone has a fix

[MetaMorph Theme] Samsung Lockscreen Clock Comfortaa Font

So I'm a bit of a typography nerd, and lately I've been hooked on the stunning "Comfortaa" font by aajohan (all credit to him for the original font!) and have replaced the system fonts on my phone with Comfortaa, and decided I wanted to replace the samsung lockscreen clock text font too.
Of course, samsung couldn't be like google and just use the Clockopia.ttf font in /system/fonts for their lockscreen, instead they made each number a .png image, in two separate sizes.
So today I finally made my own images using comfortaa, and I'm quite happy with how it turned out, and maybe somebody else will want to use this too.
Anyway, I don't use metamorph, and this is my first time making a metamorph theme, but it seems simple enough, hopefully it works (I don't honestly know, I just modified my framework-res.apk directly.)
And like always...
make a nandroid backup first, and I am absolutely not responsible for anything that happens to your phone because of applying this mod.
cheers, =)
Very nice . Now I'm gonna need to change my font to match. Good work +1 wanna hook up the link to your battery mod?

Hi,
I made a handful of versions of my battery mod, mostly with the stock international i9000 "matte" version of touchwiz, you can find the thread here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=758797
I personally don't mind the black & blue color scheme of touchwiz, I just hate the custom "glossy/glass" version that samsung did for only the vibrant.
Cheers, =)

Hi,
Yeah, I don't personally use metamorph, I just know that so many people have so many different themes they prefer to use, so it seemed easier to try and throw a morph together instead of uploading complete pre-compiled versions of framework-res.apk. Its even worse now with so many variations, I'd need one for Eugene's roms, one for Bionix, one for stock JFD and another for stock JI6, then versions for both the stock JFD and JI6 lockscreen mod variations too, lol.
So, anyway, if the morph doesn't work, can someone try to point me in the right direction why?
And of course, you can always do the mod manually too:
download the zip and just extract the 22 png images
adb pull /system/framework/framework-res.apk
open framework-res.apk it with 7-zip, and drag-and-drop my comfortaa images into /res/drawable-hdpi.
adb push ~path_to_modded_file /system/framework/framework-res.apk
then reboot into clockwork recovery, and wipe cache & dalvik-cache
reboot one last time
Cheers, =)
an you tell me what battery you have I like that icon.

Yeah, this Morph doesn't work. Just tried it. Said something about a theme control file missing. Hope this helps you, the purple lock screen looks awsome!
s0niqu3:.
Not having made a morph myself, I am basing this off of just comparing your XMP file to a morph I have applied many times (EVO BlackBar)...
It appears there is nothing wrong.
Not sure why it sin't working. Currently doing a nandroid. Going to try it out as this is a great idea! Surprised it hasn't been done yet. Could go hand-in-hand with the FlipFont.apk thread.

[REQ] Froyo mods

I just loaded up eugene Mcnut-r1 and am loving it however there are certain mods I had previously that I sorely miss Hoping some can be re-created in a flashable zip format.
Extended power menu that includes reboot, recovery and download
Accurate battery mods (none seem to work on this new build)
*** New idea can we replace the auto rotate button and make it into a MobileAp button. I know we modded the silent vibrate button like this in eclair.
seems like this belongs in the thread for this ROM...
Also, do these work?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=819498
I did try the one #3 file posted there and it didnt work. No error just never changed anything. Gonna see if I can rip the framework-res out of Axura101 to get the accurate battery part.
As far as posting in the rom area itself I am hoping s0niqu3 or untermensch can help me out as they are the ones who have posted these mods in the past. This doesnt need to be specific to eugenes rom I believe it can be made to work with any froyo by modifying the services.jar file. I believe thats what has happened in the past.

Can I also bump and request the stock android keyboard? I tried using the asop builds keyboard with the old rom eugene made and it FCed non-stop.

[Audio Theme] Project Linda Final (for 2.2 roms)- 3/19/11

Pleae read the whole op - lots of good info - flashable zip packages below - The undo zip flashes back sounds from Frost, but no matter what you are using, you will just be replacing system sounds. I built this for Frost, try on others at your own risk.
I worked hard on this, spent a good bit of time editing and properly maximizing sound to increase clarity and reduce audio clutter - if you are going to use these sounds for something, at least credit me...
First of all credit goes to xtone for inspiring to do this with his Linda mod, and I am glad to finally give something to the community that has helped me so much. Thanks also to Team Whiskey who has breathed new life into my phone, you guys rule!
If you installed another theme on top of your rom it may have changed your compatability by changing sounds or the way they are called for. I am only supporting the rom/theme that I am using. Really, you probably wont cause the apocalypse, you are just overwriting audio files with different audio files that have the same name so they are called for correctly.
Confirmed also working on:
Simply Honey 2.4 - all sounds - Thanks takev215!
Bionix Frost/ update 1/ update 2- all sounds - since release - Thanks Me!
Bionix V 1.3 - all sounds (low playback on unlock sound) - since release - Thanks willsnews! Confirmed on 1.3.1 - 3/1/11 - Thanks Shaul305!
Bionix V 1.2.1 - all sounds (low playback on unlock sound) - since release - Thanks Me!
Axura 2.3.1 - all sounds - 2/21/11 - Thanks jrathbun27!
Trigger version ? - all sounds - Thanks stncldtex! Trigger 2.7 - 3/6/11 - all sounds - Thanks t4runner13!
Changelog
Final - 3/19/11
File now attached to post, 2.0 revert still works. Links at the bottom.
Added requests for calendar, weather, and XDA notifications. Enjoy it jangst123!
Removed call dropped sound because it sometimes is called for when you hang up, or someone hangs up before you.
The 5 on the dialer is not terrible, and although it annoyed me, it is not being changed. Too much work would go into it, and I would have to edit all the sounds to match in the dialer.
Last update. Next will be a seperate post for a version compatible with CM7. Have fun with it...
Project Linda 2.0 - 2/28/11
New post for revamped version.
Changed name to Project Linda instead of being rom specific, because of various rom compatability reported.
Many sounds changed for better phonetics and cadence.
All sounds compressed and maximized to -0.1db, and a touch of reverb added to make it pop - resulting in much louder, clearer sounds.
Shutdown sound edited to playback slower toward the end and sound like Linda is actually shutting down.
Bionix V 1.3 - 2/26/11 - The low playback on the unlock sound still exists in Bionix V 1.3
Re-added sounds for additional lockscreens - unlock works for puzzle, glass, and epic only.
Ringtones and notifications now flash to system, so they will not show up as media files in your media player anymore...
Frost - 2/24/11
Cleaned up and changed op.
Now packaged in flashable zip, also a revert zip is available.
Added call dropped sound "Communications failure - call dropped"
Added error message by request "My logic is undeniable" - Enjoy it willsnews!
Removed other lock screen sounds since Frost lock is AOSP only.
Low playback on the unlock sound has been fixed in Frost. Nothing has been fixed with the files, the rom itself has fixed the playback issue. Issue remains in all other roms that had the problem.
1.1 - 2/21/11
Fixed typo in one of the low battery sounds causing it to not work
Changed "Linda Notification" name to "Linda Message" to accomodate the addition of new sounds
Added individual notifications for email, im, and voicemail
Added cool shutdown sound in the battery and charging folder(It's a surprise, at least I think it is cool...)
1.0 - 2/20/11 - First release
First of all credit goes to xtone for inspiring to do this with his Linda mod, and I am glad to finally give something to the community that has helped me so much. Thanks also to Team Whiskey who has breathed new life into my phone, you guys rule!
This is an almost complete "Audio Theme" of Linda replacing many system sounds with her voice.
The following sounds are included, and some were kind of tricky getting the cadence and phonetics correct...
Dialer - all numbers are spoken , star says "Star", pound says "Pound" 0 says "Zero" Obviously, audible touch tones must be enabled in sound settings.
Locking and unlocking - Lock says "Lock engaged" every time. Unlock says "Lock disengaged" ONLY on the puzzle, glass, and epic unlocks. Obviously, screen lock sounds must be enabled in settings.
Battery and charging - Plugging in the charger says "External power source detected, battery charging initiated." I know it is different from xtones, it was my personal preference. I made these for myself and decided to share them. A low battery will say "Battery level critical, please connect external power source"
Ringtones and notifications - The Linda ringtone says "Incoming cellular transmission, please initialize communications" a delay has been placed in the beginning so it does not get chopped off by the ascending ringtone crap. The notification says "A new message has arrived"
Installation instructions - Put file on root of sd card and flash in recovery. The revert replaces the sounds back from Frost. The notifications and the ringtone though, you will have to remove on your own. If you don't like them, just dont select them. The amount of space they take up is extremely small.
Download revert - http://www.mediafire.com/?lvuazv2fqua35dv
Have fun!
I love it it's great star field live wallpaper+ glass theme+ linda audio theme loving the look and sounds of my phone !

[REQ] changing touch sound?

Is there a way to change the stock sound of the water touch sound?
Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
If you use Root Explorer you can navigate to system/media/audio/ui and change sounds there. If there's an easier way maybe somebody can help you but that's how I do it
edit: you'll have to copy the new sounds and rename or delete the orignal sounds to change them
You should be able to copy the ui sounds from another rom...like one of the Jelly Beans builds by Beanstown106,
he uses AOSP sounds which I prefer. Or you could just use the mentioned rom and have sounds built in.
Of course the beanstown link isn't working. I hate the touchwiz sounds
i am in the same boat, i can not stand the water sound for touch, so i just keep this on my sdcard so i can add it to the list of zips i flash after a new rom, or test builds or what have you
feel free to use if you like
its the aosp touch sound, its just a quite click, it changes the defult touch sound as well as the softkey/captive button touch sound.

Thanks, ill save that. I found a few simple sounds in the ui folder and renamed them to the appropriate thing. Only thing I can't seem to change or am overlooking is the dialer sound key press. But other than that its perfect. No more stupid water sounds on touch or keys or unlock. Depending on the sounds you're using, it tricks your mind and makes it seem quicker without the long water sound.
