[Q] are viewpad7 specs high enough for ICS? - Viewsonic ViewPad 7 & Variants

Do we have any chance of seeing an ICS ROM cooked for the viewpad7 and clones?
Best regards

I doubt it. Maybe for the viewpad 7x (anyone know if that is for sale yet ?)

[Q] Wireless Bluetooth keyboard

Does anybody know, if something like this would work with Optimus One?
I think that not all Android phones have HID support.
Anybody have some wireless keyboard working on O1?
I'm also interested in the bluetooth keyboard. I saw one similar here that is sold as not compatible with Froyo 2.2 (see description).
But here I found one that is sold for Lg Optimus One. Strange... I just asked for compatibility to the seller. I await his news and let us know.
EDIT: sorry for my english...
well, that is exactly the same as I got from eBay (under different name), but didn't make it work with O1.
The ebay seller says:
100% compatible! And please my feedback, already shown positive for 2.2 user (For Galaxy Tab user)
Maybe Galaxy Tab firmware have different HID driver?
2.2 isn't enough, the HID support can be (and is) different on different devices. Hopefully 2.2.1, or 2.3 will solve this.
if you can try prime v2, it's 2.2.1
But than I loose my overclock, don't I?
Yes... the kernel of Prime v2 isn't overclocked yet.
Hope that Megatron V2 is 2.2.1 and with oc/tweaks.
tried this, but no success
Got reply from LG:
"We do not have any plans as for now to add any HID support to our Optimus One phone.
No good news

can you try this??

[Q] Honeycomb in x10 ?

Is possible bring Honeycomb in Xperia X10 ?
Is a OS for tablets, so I don't know.
i dont think so, you can bet on icecream it will have gingerbread and honeycomb.
We are still waiting for it
I guess it is possible
but it won't be nice
since official notice that Honeycomb (3.0) are optimized for tablet devices
not our mobile phone devices
I hear devs have ported an alpha release for Nexus S so who knows?

[Q] Honeycomb?

Hi all, what we can do to participate?
What kind of support needs to our beloved developers to port this release to the folio 100?
Maybe is better to wait toshiba to release the new folio 200 and steal the firmware? Or can be enough to rework the xoom version?

I think this question has been asked and answered many times already... It's extremely difficult due to lack of drivers. So yeah, best thing to do now is to wait for folio 200 to come out with honeycomb, then I guess it'd be easier for Dexter to do all the porting jobs... Xoom using different hardware components from our folio 100

Getting a new android is always fun.

personnaly , i just buy a atrix : why .
because hardware/price is actually the best . i know that no new update coming soon from motorola but , the xda dev work hardly to create a good rom.
another thing, i haven't got any android but i think that with GB it will be sufficiant for me .. yes ICS / JB are pretty great but for me the ui is not important for me ...
the security is , so i will install avast when i got it to prevent virus and othe hole problem ...
for the rest it's pure commercial
If you can afford another phone right now then thats on u, otherwise atrix is good with decent hardware.

Hardware: excellent, gorilla glass, fast processor, 16gb, decent camera
Stock software: terrible and unstable
Gingerbread roms: awesome battery life and stability.
JB roms: good battery life, good stability, very pretty.
I love my Atrix and I'm no android expert.
Hi, depending on your budget. |You could get a Smasung S2 or one of the Xamio M1 phones.

[Q] Should I Buy This Phone??

My friend is selling his steak 5 in 5000 should I buy it.. plz help me how's its performance n development in xda..is it in jelly bean or still in older versions.. what about its hardware.. plz help me thanks adi
5000 what?
There is an ICS ROM but it never left beta. Some features, e.g. the camera, do not work with ICS. The most stable ROMs are on gingerbread. For details about the Streak, read the forums and the wiki.
As to whether it's a good deal or not, it depends on what you intend using it for.
