[Q] is it possible to remove I9100 when the phone boots? - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-I777

Hi all,
I was wondering if there is any way to remove I9100 logo when the phone initially starts. If there is any way, please share the way.
Thanks in advance.

Oh i thought the jig only removed the triangle....
Sorry... I did not read thoroughly. Thanks for the clarification!

FYI, in the future, please refrain from posting in a forum until you've read all sticky threads (or at least the first posts in them), especially ones labeled as FAQ threads.

[Q] Downgrade to generic ROM?

It turns out that H3G Desires are shipping with version 1.22 of the RUU ROM, which means that I can't simply follow conventional guides to debrand it. Is there any way to downgrade to a generic ROM so that I can upgrade to FroYo?
Thanks
Welcome to XDA!
Please use a search before posting a new thread.
Every hTC device have it's own forum and it's the first place to look for ongoing discussion about device developments.
Take a look [here] and if you can't find answer to your question post it in Desire Q&A.
As this is not really the right place to ask and next time at least try to include device name in thread.

Thanks for that. I did do a search before hand but I probably searched for the wrong terms, as I've found a half related thread in the forum you linked.

I show you have only 2 posting at the time of this post. Your OP and your response. Are you sure you tried the Q/A section?
Yes I'm positive, just because I haven't posted doesn't mean that I have no read these forums multiple times.
You should have posted your question in Q&A numbskull.

Since this is the General section and all new users will be collected in this section (because they cant post in the Dev section yet for good reasons), we will start at the beginning and assume you have a fresh new device. We will go over the steps from first to last on how to achieve root, custom kernels, costume firmware and then hacks and tweaks.
How to Easily Root your device.
How to Flash Custom Binaries Without Ever Incrementing the Flash Counter!!
How to Prepare Your Phone to Return to the Store or for Warranty Replacement. Or how to set your Back To Stock.
How to flash a custom Firmware/ROM on your Phone.
How to manually replace modded/stock system files.
Those are the 5 main groups, each linked to a separate thread/topic that will help guide you through the process and hopefully avoid any problems. If you do develop a problem, please look through the topic or thread that you are in to quickly solve your issue. Also be sure to check the FAQ as your answer may already be there waiting for you.
Have a question? Most questions have already been answered here in the FAQ topic. Try looking here before you decide to post a new thread to ask a question. Chances are, you're not the first to have a questions so its more than likely been answered and discussed.
XDA thanks you for taking the time to read and follow the rules. It may take a little bit of time to search and to dig through topics, but it usually will get your correct answer to you faster than to post and wait for someone to answer it for you. [Q] Is there an up-to-date sticky INDEX of SGS3 ROMS ?

Hi,
I've recently upgraded from an SGS2 and was always grateful to the ROM INDEX thread that was regulary maintained and provided quick links to regulary updated roms of various flavours. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1529173)
I was just wondering if there was a similar index thread on the go for SGS3.. if there is I can't find it so some pointers would be nice. :good:
If there isn't.. then hey ho

Thanks.. I think?
I know what stickies are for. And as I stated I just couldn't find it.
You may (or may not) deduce from my registered date vs post count I'm pretty self sufficient.. it's rare I ask a question or can't find what I need to know by searching and reading. I apologise if I offended your sensibilities. God help me for posting a question in the .. erm.. Q&A /Help forum

Hi - you posted this in the original development section of the note II forums - this is NOT a development thread so why you thought it was OK to post it there is beyond me. Not only is this not development, it's certainly not original development. There are strict rules about where threads can be created and for what reason. If you didn't "create it," it doesn't belong in development...if you didn't "create it from scratch" it doesn't belong in original.
Please familiarize yourself with the rules link in my signature and post in the correct sections to avoid further moderator interaction. Thank you.

Hey forgive me here, I did a google search and posted, it was a simple mistake I even made a comment in the op about apologies before hand and if it was in the wrong section to please point me in the right direction im new here. id ask you to in the future to give people a chance when they are new as it came off kinda hateful or rude and stuff like this will make new members not want to reach out or make new posts let alone come back.

Your "apology" in the OP was not in regards to the placement of your thread, thus is not applicable to my acting on it. I'm sorry you thought my post was "hateful or rude" (which it most certainly was NOT) - I'm simply asking you to follow the rules of the forum you are a member of, which is the minimum requirement for continued membership. Please familiarize yourself with the rules and you'll have a great time here. If you feel the need to talk with me further about how you conduct yourself on these forums a private message is appropriate. Any futher discussion in this thread will be deleted.
