the camera quality is fair compared to my old Thunderbolt. for facial pics i use HDR+ app. The pic then look magnificent.
I just tried the HDR app today. It does make a difference. I took some pics at my son's 6th birthday on Saturday. There was a strong green tint to all the pictures. I think it had to do with the lighting in that room. Other pics don't have that tint to them. Are they the best pics, NO. However, it is a phone. At least they do come out quite clear.

Oh trust me I've found them. That's the problem. They're everywhere. I'm talking about an all encompassing thread. There are 30 or so threads, but it seems like one thread to come to would be more efficient. I'd like to get on here and have one thread to read other people's thought instead of wading through 30.

Well i just got the phone 2hrs ago and LOVE IT!
The 3D is better than i thought.. you just have to hold it steady and look at it for a few secongs and WOW.. you see it.
Screen looks great.. its so much easier to browse and read text on it than the Evo 4G.
Its SUPER FAST.. It just blazes thru everything you throw at it.
Im not a big picture person or video.. so i didnt mess with the cam much. But the pics look better than my 4G.
Im sure ill edit this later and post more.. now im off to play with my Evo 3D some more!!

I see you're new here, so I'll try being helpful.
XDA has a rich history of sharing with one another. This can be anything from wallpapers (such as this thread) to mods to applications (see modded Android Market .apk files) in any of the numerous forums. I would encourage you to take a look around some of the other forums to see how members are generally quite helpful.
Maybe it's a manners type thing. If you don't have anything constructive to share, don't. I'd rather carry on the XDA history of members sharing with one another and working together instead of being rude/inconsiderate/etc.

I tried to trim these so they would look decent in both modes. If you don't care for them, the back button is on the top left side of the browser, you don't need to check back on this thread anymore. It'll do fine without your criticism.

well, again, it's more of a sharing thing rather than "help me find them". It's kind of nice seeing what other people are doing with their touchpad.
just got mine last night, so haven't gotten much of anything on it yet, but I'll share some when I get to it.
Here's what I'm using right now. My pc is dead, I'll upload the pic itself once I get it back up and can actually resize it.

This is at least the 4th thread you've started on the pink spot, who has it, who doesn't etc.
Do you think repeated posting will fix it?

After reading this thread i've found that i also have the pink spot, but it's so unnoticeable... seriously unless your hobby is to take shots of bright white walls it won't be an issue.

You did not answer if you have it or not. If you don't- there is nothing to whine about. I paid a lot of money for this phone, this is a huge disappointment for me. If there is enough people with this problem, maybe Samsung will do something to fix it. Anyway, this is my last post about it.

As tempting as it is not answer you, I don't have it.
Now please answer my question - do you think repeated posting will fix it?
I think xda-developers.com and Samsung Customer Support shouldn't be to difficult for even the tiniest of minds to differentiate between. I'm obviously mistaken.
So one more time - stop whining.
I have it, but its not that big of a deal I think it can be fixed with a software update.

I have it and as well as several other users, I've yet to see someone who does not have it though but there are special conditions to make this appear so its not a big deal for everyone.
I understand you just want to know if this is a defect on all or just a select number of units. On another local forum with over hundreds of S2 owners none of them reported not having a pink spot when the conditions are met.
For god sake, just download the camera software update from samsung apps, and there you go. Pink spot my ass )

Exactly. I just need to know if this problem affecting all S2 units. There are people who say that they don't have this issue.
I noticed I got the pink spot when I pointed the camera to on my carpet.
Love to download the camera firmware but Samsung didn't release it for my phone's region. Haven't had the guts to try the ones xda members updated yet.

A lot of users actually get offended if you post such threads, they say your looking for specific issues that dont exist in normal usage or your expecting DSLR quality for the cam.

Well you got a crap camera then lol. Just kidding, try updating the camera firmware, worked for me. It was like red before and now its clean, and the app runs faster as well

I couldn't get it to actually take pictures but it seemed to work fine when I used pics already in my Gallery.
But nothing loads on mine =(
I don't take enough pics to really care about photo sharing sites. However I do think the behavior exhibited by birth parties (iPhone and Android) is comparable to a 5 year old child that was had to share and massive bag of chips with the rest of the class.
My gut tells me the Android already has something better than instagram and this will all blow over.

I've started to use it a bit. It's much easier to use than Facebook and Twitters photo sharing systems. Instagram also features 200% better editing than the aforementioned systems.

Yes, The quality is amazing! I threw this onto my Computer and hooked it up to my TV and everyone was more surprised that this was recorded from my phone then the actual proposal LOL
