Custom rom - Paid up application not showing up - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-I777

Hi Guys,
I have a problem i bought few applications when i flash custom rom its not showing up at present i am in MIUI rom. Any suggestions welcome.

does it not appear in the market or on your phone after installing it?

It might help to log onto market.android.com and try to send the installers to your phone. If it doesn't show up/it's greyed out, I guess the version of the app won't work with MIUI without buying it again. In that case, see if you're still eligible for refunds and rebuy it.

You sure they weren't purchased with a different Google account?

It may also help to clear the market data and cache...log back in...its happened to me a couple of times too.

[Q] Enable swype on Greyblur?

Hi Guys, I have recently purchased this device I am coming from Samsung Galaxy S. So a few things with modifying this device are new to me.
What I have done so far is rooted, and upgraded to the French sbl(?) I think that is what it was called. Upgraded to get 1080p video recording. So I am not totally useless, but I kept receiving an FC regarding Swype so using a tutorial (sorry forgot which one) unito get it to unstalled the keyboard.
Is there anyway to get it back and fully functioning on this ROM or will I have to revert to stock? I have the apk file but still unable to get it to work. Also tried Titanium backup to restore but still FC. Is this possible yet?
Thanks in advance
Did you try downloading the full swype from beta.swype.com?
I have tried registerring 3 times but have yet t receive email confirmation

I remember getting mine fairly quickly, remember to check your spam folders.
Well I am incredibly smart!!! everytime I tried to register I forgot to check the 'Accept terms' checkbox. After doing that then instant email. Thanks to all who responded

Problem with the android market

I can download free apps just fine but every time I try to buy a paid app I get an error. The error says "There's was a problem processing your request". Now just last week I brought three new paid apps just fine. Also going to applications to clear data on the market doesn't fix the problem. It happens on my phone and on my girlfriends HTC Evo 3D phone.
Do anyone konw how to fix the program?

See if this helps you.
its a problem with setting up the credit card (think server overload) - as a workaround just go to checkout.google.com and sign in using a normal browser with your googlemail address (the same as in use on your android), setup your credit card and the go back to the market on your android phone. Select the app and it will now ask you to confirm using the credit card you have just setup.

Thank you. I tried that but it still didn't work for me.

Ive had the same problem. I thought I fixed it by reinstalling the market, but after bout a day it came back.
Odd, until you mentioned it, I had no issues until today. I noticed all my paid apps (xda included) got deleted from phone. Went to market and it automatically put them back.

[Q] Unable to install paid apps (running XXLPB)

I am able to install applications I have purchased before I installed the leaked XXLPB rom, but whenever I try to buy an app now, I get a message along the lines of "You will receive email when your purchase is resolved". I receive an order receipt on my Google Wallet account, and the app says it is purchased. But whenever I try to install it, it gets stuck at "Starting download...".
What to do?
Install them while on gb dump them to sd and reinstall via file mgr. The market license check should succeed on ics.

How would I do this? And isn't there an easier way?
Tried to buy an app on my HTC Desire running stock GB, but I had the same problem there as well.. This makes think that it is not a ROM-problem I am dealing with..

Easy way is not to use unreleased test beta buggy firmware .
Or try search ICS market problems as other users post the same problems .
If its not a rom problem then its usually either the market app dpi or your account .

That might be a difficult one to track down. Have you tried installing it from the web play store instead of from your device? Sometimes that works for some reason.

Ye tried that put had no joy
I've attached it to this post, not sure if its the latest version but its one I extracted from a phone running GB for my girlfriend after she had the same problem with it saying it wasn't compatible on her Nexus S with ICS.
Thank you
I recommend caution when installing these kind of apps from apks found on the web; there is always the chance that they have been modded to steal your banking info, so what I'd suggest for further updates is to try some kind of market enabler app rather than go online searching for it.
Don't say that i've already installed it you know when you download a app from the play store does it store it anywhere on your phone first
Hi guys, really appreciate the work you guys are doing, this is actually my first post, feel kinda bad that it's only because I want something. So apologies for that.
I currently have the RBS banking app installed on my Galaxy Nexus. However it has recently been updated to allow users to make cardless atm withdrawals. Probably because I have a rooted device google are not letting me update to that version.
I would be quite happy to make a donation if someone would post it for me, many thanks in advance.
Am I the only one here that know **** what going on here?

I too would really appreciate it if someone could post the latest app, or suggest a way to fool the market into thinking I'm running a different android version.

[Q] Help with stolen phone

Hi,
I've lost my phone... I know the place but when asked security no one reported it. So.. I changed my gmail passwrord, my facebook and some more.
Now I got a new phone, and in the play store I can see that my phone was used yesterday. I have no idea how is this possible, but I want to know if I can do anything to report the phone as stolen, wipe the data, or something. It was an unlocked phone... maybe I have the imei somewhere.
Unfortunately I lost it in my holidays, so it is in another country.
Any ideas? (attached is the screenshot)
How exactly did you find out your phone was used through the Play store?

Today, with my new phone, I entered in play store in my PC. Then when I chose to install an app, it asked me which phone. My previous phone was there but with Zain JO (Jordan) and yesterday was the last access. I've chosen to install the Plan B app from the market and see if it works.
Weird is, I changed my gmail password the same day I lost it (on 16th). Go here https://play.google.com/store/account, and then settings (it is the attached screenshot).
For anyone still interested.. nothing that I tried worked. Now.. still interesting is the fact that the phone keeps appearing in the google store and now it changed the carrier again. Check the Jordan one.
Is there anything to do? As I said before I've changed my google password so.. no idea why it keep changing but for sure, someone is still using it
