Nice ones. I'm going to use some of those. Thank you.

Just checked out wallbase on my Nook and got a few good ones just scanning the site's home page. The site was also mobile friendly, so thanks dude. I got all my Nook's wallpapers from your link in the TransformerBread theme thread, so I would simply recommend others go check that thread out.

Be careful with huge wallpapers on wallbase. If the resolution is too high, they'll lock up your NC. Don't know what the limit is.

Yeah, I never really try to get anything bigger than 1024x768 since that's the resolution of the Nook and the Touchpad, great thing about wallbase is they usually have multiple sizes for each wallpaper.
You also don't want your wallpapers to be too big because that's just all the more memory(RAM) that they'll eat up while being applied...

setting the wallpapers with the Gallery, and they all come out looking pixelated and not HD. Any secrets to get the wallpapers to set right?
I'm downloading them at 1024x768, and have Cm7.1 set to 160 dpi.

Thanks,

I personally use and recommend MultiPicture Live Wallpaper to set and manage your walls or I imagine you could use a 3rd party gallery such a Just Pictures or Quickpic.

thanks dude, I had actually downloaded Multi-live a while ago. I configure that last night and it worked much better. I guess I'll just use that to set my walls from now on.

Screen captured wallpapers from Milkdrop
All of the wallpapers I share I will be getting as screen captures from Milkdrop. Definitely worth checking out! Please give me some feedback on how they look, too many to try them all personally...

[DOCK] First Attempt

Now, let me begin by saying I AM NOT a designer, nor do any sort of artwork on the side. I saw this idea and figured I'd give it my shot. Enjoy what you may, but I felt like giving back to a community that I take so much from.

Looks nice! Could you maybe make one like the red_mix, but with a white stripe? That dock would look great with the theme on my my vibrant.

On your vibrant, long press on the pic, save image.
Go to launcher pro prefs and choose apperance settings.
Choose dock backround and select custom.
Find the image in your gallery and select it.
Bam. Your all set.
slightly off-topic but how do you change the color of the unread count on the dock?
I love the white_mix. Great job!

is there any way of getting the white-mix doc, in purple instead of where the grey is? so basically it would be a mix of purple and white

if you go to Zedge.com you'll find a bunch of qHD walls..
I find Zedge doesnt give alot of wallpapers for the Photon then they do for other phones. On my buddies Galaxy S 2 it comes up with thousands of wallpapers in there. But on my photon, it only comes back with under 2,000. Alot less then his phone.

Try wallbase, I checked it out a couple of weeks ago and its got some cool ones
I've been addicted to the "Nexus Revamped" live wallpaper, free in the Market (Play Store), but I keep a nice collection of wallpapers on hand, and I add to it every now and then.
Best way to find wallpaper, I've found, is go to Google Images and plug in our phone's resolution -- 540x960 -- into the custom size prompt, and re-run the search. Just put in what you want in your wallpaper. Use broad terms, like forest, ocean, fantasy, etc. Or just search wallpaper. If you have a color in mind you can refine by that, as well.
Or, as somebody said above, Wallbase (or a similar wallpaper site). You can use something like XnView (on the PC) to crop a desktop wallpaper down. Either set the crop aspect ratio to 16:9 (I think!) and crop what you want, then resize, or cut out a 540x960 piece from the wallpaper -- the latter option is less than desirable in most cases, though. If you guys are interested, I can upload a bunch later, make an Imgur album or something. (Is there a preferred image host that doesn't downsample images that is also free?)
//edit: Here it is, if anybody wants it. Now, I didn't make any of these, just collected them from wherever. The 2nd and 3rd ones are from a wallpaper, I cropped them out. [Link]

Flippable agenda?

I'm looking for an agenda with flippable pages, like the one of ipad. Does such a thing exist for our tabs?
Try the pro version of the Wizz widget from the Market.
I meant something eye candy, with flippable pages like a real book. Like the ipad one

Can you be more specific? I believe most of the colors are customizable other than the tabs and some of the buttons.

Sony "Time-shift" UI, go to see World Heritage in your Xperia!

This is an proprietary app of Sony for mobile devices. This app is basically a collection of World Heritage photos taken by Sony “α” cameras at various times during the day!
This allows you to view the same shot at various times of the day by vertically sliding down the time display. Swiping the picture upwards will reveal an options menu to share the photo, read about on Wikipedia and see a map.
It's running on Android 2.2+ and for display with 480 x 854 pixels or 720 x 1280 pixels!
Below's demo video and pics of Ha Long bay - my country!

Đẹp quá :-x Very nice
It's a quite nice app, although it's a bit laggy.
You can even set the pictures as wallpaper and they will change during the day.

I have now set it as my wallpaper. It's a wonderful application and keeps on cycling the images. It's a must have and is probably the best approach from Sony yet. Kudos. For everyone, just search 'timeshift' in Play Store and you will find the app

[WatchFace] TrombT1 - a very nice watchface i made (FREE only here on XDA)

Hi guys, recently i had some time to learn some Java, and since there was not any watchface i liked in particular i decided to make one by myself.
SCREENSHOTS BELOW
APK ATTACHED TO POST, SEE BOTTOM
My objective was to make a watchface as realistic as possible, and i achieved this with reflections based on hand movement, realistic minutes and seconds hands that smoothly move following force law and high res textures.
Even if it looks an heavy computing app it is butter smooth in my G Watch R and cpu isn't much stressed.
It is the closest to real smartwatch i've seen.
I'm giving this to you hoping you all like it, if you want you can help me keeping up with this just by downloading and rating the free app, which is the same as the paid one except for advanced effects like reflections and force based hands movement:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=wear.trombettonj.trombt1steelfree
And here is the paid app, with the lowest possible price i could set in play store:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=wear.trombettonj.trombt1steel

Never mind. I have located a bunch of watch faces online. But what I meant by "realistic looking date" is the small glass bubble located on real watches to magnify the date number (like on a Rolex or a Panerai). Thanks anyway.
Thanks for giving the XDA community exclusive free access. Its pretty cool of you
Also, this is completely unrelated to the topic... But could you make a digital watchface? That would be awesome! I can't find any digital watchface that I like.
