Cimo S-Line Soft Shell TPU Case Review - Motorola Droid RAZR

Hello all. Today I will be reviewing the Cimo S-Line Soft Shell TPU Clear Case for the Motorola Droid Razr.
Initial impressions:
This case is made out of your standard TPU material. It is somewhat stiff but is flexible. There are cut outs to allow access to all the ports on the phone. The finish of the product is outstanding and I did not find any sharp edges or “tag” pieces that needed to be trimmed off. A lot of care seemed to go into making sure that the product was ready for the customer without having to do any touch ups.
Case design:
The case has matte and glossy TPU finishes. The matte portion looks like frosted glass while the glossy portion allows the beauty of the Kevlar weave show through. I do wish there was more glossy clear finish on the back to show more of the Kevlar. The power and volume rocker are covered while the rest of the ports are accessible by cutouts in the case. There is a spot for a person to tie a lanyard to the case. I have not tried it but it looks like it will handle a lanyard without any problems.
Case functionality:
The case feels great in hand and adds minimal bulk to the phone. The edges have a raised diamond like pattern to increase the grip. The covered power button and volume rocker respond easily when pushed. The USB, HDMI ports and the 3.5mm headphone jack are fully assessable. The LTE and micro SDHC cards can be accessed without taking the case off. You can lay the phone flat on and the front glass is raised off the surface. This is great for us folks that do not use a screen protector.
Conclusion:
Over all it is a great case. Thin and provides lots of grip, it does not create extra bulk to an already razor thin device. I really do enjoy using the case and I can access every port on it without any troubles. I can also show off the beautiful Kevlar weave on the back since it is a clear case. I have not tried it out with any docks, so I do not know if it will fit in those devices with the case on. Just an FYI.

Sena UltraSlim for our Notes

Hey everybody, just thought I would give you a heads up on a great product, I plan on getting one for my Note this summer when I get my beast.
http://www.senacases.com/samsung-cases/galaxy-note/ultraslim/
It's the Sena Ultraslim pouch. I had one for my iPhone 3G and for my Captivate, and they are great cases. They are made of high quality leather that is hand stitched and buttery soft. I highly recommend them, as they are great for those of you that like to use your device naked, yet want some ultra thin protection for when it's not in use. Inside the pouch is a soft, velvety material that will somewhat clean the screen of your device as well. The pouch starts out kind of tight to the device, but loosens up a bit with use and conforms to the curves of the device perfectly. It barely adds any thickness or weight to the device as well. I had one white and one black for my iPhone, and a black one for my Captivate. The white can get dirty, as it is leather, but good care will keep it clean. Also, when you take the device out, if you hold it behind the device it can provide a little grip on the device with the leather being warm from your pocket, as the leather grips the plastic of the phone. I plan on getting a white one to match my white Note.
Here is a picture of the white one, they also have black, brown, and red.

Feel free to ask me any questions! And hit thanks if I found a new case for you!
Edit: One note, it does not work very well with Zagg InvisibleShield screen protectors due to the tight fit and the rubbery nature of those protectors. However, most high gloss or matte protectors have no troubles at all.
Wow
I really wish there was a design like this but as a case instead. It would be nearly the same thing. Maybe a flap on the top to tuck in and close it, with cutouts for the screen, buttons, and USB.
The only options we have right now for leather cases are either bulky, or flip. no thanks.
I'm tempted to order this and see if I can make the appropriate cutouts myself.
I just submitted a comment to them suggesting this.

Question about thin/lightweight case options

I'm very careful with my phone, but would like to have some very light protection from a case. What are the thinnest cases, preferably clear or anything that goes well with the style of a black note 3, that are available?
Ideally I would just have a clear "bumper" style case that protects the silver outside edge of the phone, which also keeps the screen off of a surface when set face down. (or perhaps even something that snaps in and replaces the back cover while also protecting the sides)
But if you don't know if anything like that specifically, any and all suggestions for very thin and unobtrusive cases are appreciated!

Spigen Bounce, I Have it and i Love It!
I'm rocking a Puregear slim shell case and love it. For me it has enough protection but still gives you that super slim feel of the awesome phone we have. The back is clear and has a few nubs that keep it from getting all scratch up when you put it down and it has enough of a lip that it protects the screen if you lay it screen down (even with a tempered glass screen protector). The rim of the case is a soft silicone and the back is a polycarbonate. The fit is perfect on the phone and you have perfect access to all of the ports, the hole cutouts are perfect, and the spen is easy to get out. One of the better cases I have bought recently other than my UAG. I got the one with the white rim but they also sell one with a black rim as well. Here is the link to the black:

For 15 bucks you can't go wrong. They even have a thicker case if you don't want the slim shell that's also nice. But if you go a little thicker I would go with a UAG.

Poetic Quarterback GS7 Review!

Now this is an interesting case idea that I've never owned before! So I got the Poetic Quarterback case; Poetic makes some good stuff, as I've had their Affinity series, which is a nice case, but i personally hate clear back cases (they get smudgy, oily etc.) My favorite type of case is leather, but I do like a good TPU every now and then (matte style.) I bought the Quarterback case because it seems unique..it's a really thin flexible TPU, but on the back, a hard plastic snaps on. It comes with black, but their plan is to sell different color back plates, which seems like a real cool idea. You buy the case in black, and then if you want to switch out, just get another color! Awesome idea, but no word yet as to when they're going to sell the colors and for how much. Until then, I really dig this case in black!
The backplate:

Ok, so the only con i have towards this case is the back is slippery..like really slippery. not in the hand, but on a table. so on my desk i can easily push this and it'll glide along. now, for me, that's not an issue because i don't care about things like that, but for some people, that's an issue. either way, only a con in the sense that others may not like it. besides, if you lay your phone face down on a table, the TPU lip that is in the front prevents it from moving.
All ports easily accessible:
Buttons are nice and clicky, and the side is TPU, not the hard plastic, so there's a good grip. There's a little ridge that helps with the grip.
Overall, this is a really nice case. The lip that comes over the edge of the front doesn't come over really far into the bezel which is awesome because I have the Spigen curved crystal screen protector, and being that it's curved, even though it's thin it goes right to the edge. Other cases will lift it up (even Spigens own cases!!) so i'm happy with how this is.
Either way, try this case out. Only $10 on Amazon with prime, and hopefully when the color plates come out they'll be priced reasonably enough to be able to swap whatever colors you want.

Pixel - Caseology Vault and Choetech Tempered Glass Screen protector review

I just got my Pixel last night and immediately put on a case and screen protector.
Caseology Vault Series Case
Choetech Tempered Glass Screen Protector
I'll start with the case: The case feels dense and feels like it will help with any drops. I had to get a opaque case because I put a magnet inside on the back of the case for my car mount. The case fits snuggly and the phone can easily be put in and removed from the case. The cuts outs look to be exact and you can put regular sized 3.5mm headphone jack into it ( Most headphone's will fit but if you get something with a fatter head, it may not fit).

The look of the case is what was advertised - gives sort of a brushed metal look in the back and carbon fiber design around the camera. The raised lip should give you protection incase you drop it screen down onto the ground.
Maybe my fingers are wimpy but the edges of the case dig into my pinky when I'm texting and holding the phone for some periods of time but that's minor issue. The case itself is pretty thin and even with the case on the buttons are clicky and responsive.
The Choetech screen protector fits the screen but you will see that it is exactly the width of the screen so it has 0 forgiveness if you are slightly off. Mine is slightly off and I'm trying not to focus too much on it but it really friggin bugs me. I wish they would have made it slightly wider by a few mm's for a small % of error when applying.
Overall, it feels like glass and it doesn't get much finger prints on it. When if does, you can easily wipe is off with your shirt or a rag.
I'd definitely recommend the case and the screen protector but I will probably write a request to Choetech to see if they're willing to make the width of the screen protector bigger.
Good to see more TGSP that's properly cut to cover the LCD and actually sticks.
The case looks even better on a black pixel. Enjoy mate.

[Case Review] GKK Oneplus 5 Dual Armor 360 Full Protection Case Hard Hybrid

Hi there; as I ordered a couple of Aliexpress cases for the Oneplus5 due to having nothing in local stores here in NZ.
It was a bit of a crapshoot but this is the first of them to arrive.
This is the case here: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/GKK...-Case-Thin-Fashion-5-5-Matte/32822336582.html
Pros:
Slim
Good looking IMNSHO available in range of colours - masks front and back of phone.
Includes a Glass screen protector
Good cutout and recess for camera bump
Cheap ($5.45 NZD)
Add's much needed grip without much bulk
Has side lanyard/strap hole
Cons:
Glass screen protector does not fit properly
Is hard plastic no silcon/rubberised at all
Tight fit - potencial to break buttons if not careful when fitting
No install instructions/application alchol wipes etc
Overall am fairly pleased with the case. It fits well adds grip to the phone and has recess in all the right places. Two small holes at the bottom of the phone on the right side also let you add a string/lanyard to the phone if you are so inclined.
The screen protector is another story. It's a hard glass type and comes with an applicator sticker protector. The moment I started to apply it I regretted taking off the OEM plastic protector as I could tell it wasn't going to align properly with the OO5.
After some fiddling around I got it approximately in the best orientation I could. It's unfortunately just isn't cut properly for the OO5 dead on it misses about 40-60pixels of the sides of each of the left and right screens.
Fitting the case back on in the hope it would improve the glass actually deteriorates the protector more, creating aberrations from the pressure from tight fitting top and bottom clips of the case.
tl;dr Great slim case, screen protector is rubbish - throw away and use another screen protector with the phone; literally anything else. Based on what I hear of the Official Glass one - I would wager this case is useless with it due to the tight fit. Works fine with the OEM plastic one.
I've tried to include photos as best as I can.
Cheers - @aenertia
