1. Issue - Modifying Build.Prop does not save or stick.
Reason - forgot to enable root access, & R/W permissions. [ES File Explorer]
Solution :
1. Running ES File explorer go to >Settings > Root Explorer (very bottom) > Check last 2 boxes 'Root Explorer' & 'Mount File System'.
Other
2. Issue - Phone is bootlooping, Froze on boot, etc.
Reason - Had Downloaded my modified build.prop & Not compatible with your phone/Rom/Update version, etc. (Mine From 3VO, Running Awesome Team Nocturnal Xplode Rom)
Solution -
A) Restore your NAND Back-Up
B) Modify those 2 lines on your own build.prop (Instructions Below)/or Ask me to Create or upgrade your account for you.

*Android Device
*Root on device
*File Explorer w/r-w (Highly recommend ES File Explorer-Even has built in box, Dropbox, & suarsync Explorer built in with Bluetooth, WAN)
*Official Box.net app
*Modified build.prop file
IF YOUR NOT ROOTED DON'T WORRY. I DON'T WANT ANYONE TO MISS OUT ON THIS! SKIP TO BELOW THE INSTRUCTIONS
vvv Steps: vvv
1. Download & install box, & ES File Explorer (Get from market)
2. use ES File Explorer (or similar) to edit file build.prop in system folder (/system)
3. Find build.prop & make a backup
4. Edit these two lines that look similar to this (yours will =your phone, & multiple similar lines, last ones are correct)
Change it to this below & then save (Best way just copy & paste)
ro.product.manufacturer=LGE
ro.product.model=vs910 4g
5. Restart device
6. Open your box app and Either create a account, or Log In. (When Logging in/When done creating, while it is logging you in, It Will Notify you saying your upgraded
7. When you are done creating however many accounts you want, REMEMBER to RESTORE BUILD.PROP!
Hope this is detailed, and easy enough to understand.

didn't work for me.
Followed your directions to a T, and it created a 2nd build.prop file. do i need to delete my original build.prop file? I have it backed up of course, but not sure if having 2 throws it off.
Also, is the " ro.product.model=vs910 4g " case sensitive?

It will automatically create a backup of build.prop. as soon as you change those 2 (copy & paste what I did) try to create account again in app, log in, then just restart phone and open app again should say upgraded to 50gb. After that you can create however many for whoever. After Done creating account(s) restore the backup build.prop

Just a quick question.
I realize on the first post it says good till December 2011.
Now is that how long we have to finish creating the 50gb accounts?
Or is that when our newly created Account will expire?

I'm glad that I explained it good enough. What I'm aware you have till end of the month to sign up & get the free 50gb. When you have it your good .Then after they are going to come up with other promotional deals. I also just found out if you have a account already & sign in with build.prop modified it will automatically bump it up to the 50gb.

I went to register your email, but already been registered. Got two options, I can
upgrade current account: you will need to change password, so I can log into your account. (Soon as I log in, it recognizes & upgrades IMMEDIATELY, before log in finishes.) Then you will change your password BACK/CHANGE it IMMEDIATELY.
or
Register a whole new E-mail: just like before post new email in post.
