Wishful thinking.
Anyway, they have no docks that can be ordered. Nice tablet, but incomplete without the keyboard. And so reasonable to wait until they're both available in quantity. February?
Of course, by then more information about the rumored next-gen Samsung tablet will be out, so I can be patient.

Well, after having my Best Buy preorder cancelled and getting no response from executive customer support I'm ready to say screw them and try throwing my hat in with expansys. With no tax and the $20 off coupon I end up saving about $45 anyway.
So maybe I don't get it until my birthday in mid-January... thanks to BB being a bunch of $^@%!## I wouldn't have anyway (I'm not bitter, no, not at all!)
Edit: The confirmation email, with the line that says, "To see the status of your order at any time please visit : <Enter URL>" doesn't exactly inspire confidence. But if you're all sure they're legit, I guess it's worth a shot.

I bought the Flyer on a Monday and I saw the new price for $100 on Thursday. I thought they brought the price down or something, I wasn't sure so I just called BB and asked for a price adjustment. The lady on the phone told me that I should see a $200 refund tomorrow (Friday) and I was like okay, cool!
Later that day I started reading that it was a mistake and it wasn't meant to be for $100. At that point, I figured if they give me the refund, then I just got an unbelievable black friday deal, otherwise, I'm not losing anything. Lo' and behold, my statement only said $100. I don't think they caught this when they made the refund. And my situation was different in that I bought the flyer a few days ago, and then asked for a price adjustment, whereas others saw the price drop and THEN ordered it.
I forgot who, but another user, I think Butterflygirl(?), bought 3 Flyers a few days before the error in pricing and asked for a price adjustment. Idk if she got it or not, but it would be cool if she did. I don' think she updated us on it yet.
I didn't get it., but I'm glad someone did.

Hrmm... I'm starting to doubt whether expansys will fulfill all these preorders. I pre-ordered mine 5 days ago and I'm sure it was up before that as well. It seems that they are the only site taking pre-orders so they must be getting a ton of requests. I don't think they are a big partner with Asus so they can't be getting enough shipments to fulfill these orders. (not unless you're willing to wait till January)
And, they are still taking pre-orders!
Math doesn't seem right. (especially when sites like Amazon and Newegg sold out so quickly)
Plus, I'm sure a lot more people are ordering just to take advantage of the discounts.

Yea seems a little off, however, during the HP touchpad firesale they pulled through. They oversold but fulfilled orders. Im hoping they learned from that fiasco and wont oversell stock they dont have. I never heard of expansys till recently, so maybe people in the US dont shop much there.
I checked my order status and its still not updated. Crossing my fingers...

They still cut off a lot of orders with the TouchPad(I remember getting the email but I was one of the few that made it though).
And with HP, it's their product. They started up production again to fulfill some extra orders. (can't do that here)
Oh well... nothing more can be done... It's a bit sad because the original transformer also had stocking issues. I thought Asus and the retailers would've coordinated a bit better this time but it doesn't seem that way. They can't really say that they didn't expect the demand when they experienced the same rush last time. I'm still not even sure when the "actual" release date is!

Just be wary. This store has a shaky reputation, and if it "appears too good to be true"...well, you know. IMO, the "shipment arrives at noon" already sounds like a red flag.

I have no idea what you guys are talking about there's HHGreggs all over Maryland and they are very reputable I can't speak for their online site or anything like that but we actually have several HHGregg stores here. as far as being original transformer I called store already and they verified shipment says TF201

Every negative review I read has something to do with their online sales and deliveries but like I said we have local stores and I am picking it up there it's not being shipped.
I wonder how long best buy would honor a price...probably just your return period? This would really piss me off. I don't give a damn if it's discontinued. I love the tablet and it's look and feel. But, I would hate knowing I spent $100 extra on something that is still within my return period. I mean, they are probably going to get scalpers buying these up and reselling them.
Anyway, chime in when someone actually has one in hand. This will tank original transformer sales as well if true.

The offer was available online but it a mistake, if you go there now it will say the offer is no longer available. People who were able to purchase it said they got an email saying the order was cancelled.

I think your rep might of been confused as were the ones i talked to. But if you do get it,which i think you wont on the 28, i hope you let us know !!!

Meh, he could get it before that. I have heard this before, but didn't think it was true. I guess the only way you can choose S&H options is if you pay outright for the phone. Plus even further proof, some people have gotten other phones before their release date in-store, but lol @ $15 + tax for one day early, though.
I know I probably will be phoneless come 10:30 on Wednesday, but making this post somehow makes me feel better

EDIT: But yeah, crazy dad you are right. This happened before with the iPhone 5. I think some people ordered this via VZW/Apple and they were refunded the dough after because there was no overnight shipping. AKA, we all get the phone on the same day as of the release date.
Just saying with the S3 some people got it a day early, but it wasn't due to overnight shipping

Hmm, my friend said he had the option to choose when he ordered his. I guess they might've changed something in the system, which is a good sign.
edit: looks like some other people are claiming that it will ship out from wal-mart on the 27th/be in stores on the 27th.

Hope it works out for yall. I just talked to a rep to see if i could change my ship date and he just told me that it wont ship before the 27th and will only have a devlivery date of the 29th.i tried to convince him of letting me get it on the 28th and says that they wont be available to the customer until the 29th.

Yeah, check my post in the previous page. I edited it after you quoted me. This has happened before.
FYI - I did pay outright so that option may only appear in this case. I also just killed a few chickens out near the railroad tracks to ensure
the gods of phone shipments look favorably on my order.
