the first i have, had this problem
you should demand a new one to your carriers cause it's a problem they know
after i received the new mozart,no problems reboot anymore
i bought it from a shop not from carrier and he gave me 1 year warranty
so tommo i will return this.
my new question is will they return my money or exchange or ne other option?

[Q] Does anyone else has this problem with their Vibrant?

I had a Vibrant 3g and loved it. I recently decided to purchase a Vibrant 4g off the Internet with no warranty. I rooted it and used it for about a week and then I realized when I call someone, the other person can't hear me. Yes I don't use much minutes and more of a texting guy and it took me a week to realize that lol.
- When I use Bluetooth headset, I can make calls fine.
-When I try to make calls with phone of wired headset, the other person can't hear me.
I even tried to record my sound using build in mic and it didn't record anything. I came to the conclusion that the mic doesn't work. Its a brand new phone. What should I do?
Should I call T-Mobile? (I didn't buy the phone from tmobile)
Should I call Samsung for their manufacture warranty?
or is there any way for me to fix it myself?
I would say you would be best off first trying to call T-Mobile or bringing it to the store to see what they can do for you. Otherwise since its new Samsung should hopefully be able to help you. Good luck.

50% calls - the other party can't hear me at all

What a surprise, approx. 50% calls received are total failure and shame at the same time.
The other party cannot hear me at all (!!!).
I can hear the other party well and clear so it's not "out of range" problem IMO.
Brand new device, 6 days of usage, the newest ROM.
Anybody else?
Returned the device, back to my almost-perfect SGS2
I'm not beta tester anymore, it was the worst phone purchase ever.
Good luck with your Titans, enjoy them if you can and good bye!
I'm having the same problem, my rom version is 1.08.
I think I will call HTC support, I like the titan and I want to keep the phone

Good luck then, they should fix it asap. Hopefully it's not hardware problem and new Rom will fix it.

You got a faulty phone. My Titan is working perfect. These things happen and every phone manutacturer has returned phones. In fact Android phones are the most returned at 14%.
i had the same problem when i recived my Titan, but i called my carrier and found out my sim card was 8 years old, so i got a brand new sim card and now all my calls can be heard from the caller maybe wp7 is tuchy to old sim card?
I have the same problem sometimes, only the other way around.. I call someone and they answear the phone but the phone is totally silent.. can't hear nothing! After almost one month of using Titan I've suffered from some really stupid bugs..
I have the same Problems, HTC Titan Provider O2 Germany. I bought the device on friday. Sometimes peole can´t hear me at the first time.
When they call again they can hear me.
Sent an Email to the HTC Support.
Do you think they can solve this problem with an Update?
And those who having this Problems are you covering the noise cancellation mic on the back of the Titan???

I've got a new SIM card (<1 year old) - so it's not the reason why...
I've also experienced this problem with 2 new unbranded Titans. I hope it will be fixed soon. I think its not a hardware failure.

HTC wrote me i should do a reset.
If this doesn´t help i should send my Titan to HTCs repair center.
Let us know how you get on with that reset. I'm experiencing the same problem, when a call is answered sound emits from the speaker from the caller for a split second, when this usually occurs, the caller is unable to hear me. I hope a radio flash can fix this

That's a typical solve-it-all answer callcenter agents give in order to get rid of the problem quickly. It will most probably not change anything regrading your issue unfortunately.

Support in the USA

HI all
I started having a problem with the external speaker three days ago. It stopped working three days ago for about half a day. Then suddenly worked again. Yesterday night the speaker stopped working again and has been so since then!
I contacted Samsung support in the US and was not helped at all. I was directed to the UK support. Is there anyway that I can get my phone fixed here in the US. Sending the phone overseas to get fixed is quite hard at this moment. There is also a good chance that the origin of the phone is not the UK. I bought it from a small store and was told that the phone came from the UK.
Any help is highly appreciated!
Thanks

Muffled sound. Fed up!

virtually every person who speaks to me says they can't hear me clearly. I have a muffled voice. Am really fed up and don't know whether to return phone or not. I love the phone but this problem is very very frustrating. I tried the finger/tape over the secondary mic trick but does not seem to help. Am using the titan 1 on O2 network with latest os update. Help please :-(
Had the exact same problem. Had the titan exchanged for a new one (Build date one the original was early november 2011, late december on the replacement). Same problem with the replacement unit, so they (Microsoft Store) replaced it with the titan 2, and no voice problems at all.
Alas I don't think I can get it replaced for a Titan 2 as I am in the UK and Titan 2 is for US market only.
My Titan had the recption issue (random disconnect, weak signal) and the same poor sound quality for the person on the other end.
I accidentally dropped it and shattered the screen. Purchased a Titan II on eBay and it works absolutely flawlessly!
Sounds like you got one of the dodgy ones, There were early batches with this problem, Never had this issue myself on O2 UK, I have had 2 titans as one already went back as the screen died and got a replacement with diff IMEI number, Looks like you gotta send it back to shop or use the HTC repair Centre Huntington, Got mine back in 4 days and no trouble since, The shop should replace the handset, Best of luck and hope you are eventually happy with your new one.
