Ah yes. Those Blackberries with all that security and superior battery life. Who would be stupid enough to use one of those? Who needs excellent email and calendar integration when you can have 500,000+ apps? Oh, and who needs a phone to be just an excellent phone? Um... maybe people who depend on their phone to get some work done.
Thanks for your work. Lemme know if I can help. I'm a Bluetooth expert, and I've actually used a Blackberry before, unlike most of the people who like to make these kinds of comments.
Plus AT&T has an unlimited blackberry international data roaming which makes this extremely interesting if you have a company picking up the tab and fly around the world.

Well basically, this girl I like, and me have the same phone, the Atrix 4G. Now I wanted to ask her to a dance, and wanna make an app for that, Something creative and original, like say plays a youtube video of me asking her to the dance, then opens up a prompt which says yes and no, if she selects yes, her phone calls/texts me the answer, what is your opinion on this? Will it work? Too Nerdy? Overkill?

Any more how to videos would be appreciated, I have a lot of time for this, but just wanted to put the idea out there and get some support, after all I thought android devs would be more helpful considering they develop for open source platforms.

a merged rom? how would that even work? the binaries are completely different. hell getting ios to run on android phone would be an accomplishment due to the different drivers needed

The thing is we feel you are the who likes to attack and are rude in your comments. Like I tried to say in a earlier post to you, but you will never understand it. Thats soooo olddd omg. There is an app called carrier iq to tell if u if you have it. Most of providers have removed and almost every single custom rom has it removed. Dude this article is form december 2011.
That's old news. Like, really old. Look at the date on the article. Verizon doesn't use CIQ on any of it's devices. It may use something else, but so far we don't know of anything, so any claims otherwise are just FUD.

yep, well the manufacture knew about it. the users didnt and thats one thing that sparked the quest to remove it.
android devs will always find a way to make the platform better. iOS devs are just happy with what they have :angel:

I will confirm I do have my hands on. A fully unlocked firmware for Verizon. I can not confirm it works yet. Due to not having the device in front of me. Once I confirm it. I will post a whole write up on that.. With links..

Because unlike you, I don't start threads with attention seeking topics that never come to fruition. I could care less if I'm labeled on XDA as a "recognized elite developer" or whatever it is or have some stupid, big thanks meter. Those things are worthless to me. What matters most is getting good, clean, easy-to-install workarounds to the foolish measure Verizon forces on the manufacturers out to the general public. You want credit, you'll get FULL CREDIT as the source. You have my word.
