So far so good it seems. However my router is in my room... and i hardly left my room. SOOOO that might helped it out xD.

I will try to write something up soon. Overall i am pretty dang happy with it though. Besides one scare that i am still not sure what happened with and it hanging on Google earth if i stay in there too long so far it all good. But i will try to do a more in depth write up later.

Interesting, there have been numerous reports from people who called into customer service and were told that TigerDirect never received the grey/purple ones and only shipped out the champagne.
If you don't mind me asking, when did you place your pre-order? I ordered mine on 11/24 and was wondering if mine might be shipping soon.

When i said purple i went champagne thinking the full name was champagne purple... but i seemed to have been confused or it changed. Either way i got the champagne one not the grey version sorry for the confusion.
Either way the names are confusing since champagne looks grey while the grey looks purple x-x

I like the purple hue to mine... Purple is my favorite color! but it's not barney purple. Hell I keep mine in a leather case all the time anyways. I used the leather case (rooCase) from my TF its a little loose but it will work till my new TP roocase comes!
I'm curious as to what the champagne looks like in person.

You might get lucky though if they have a small stock..
Just looked at the interface and recognised it...
Its linked back to Dabs.com. BT don't sell them directly, they come via a partnet program at Dabs.
That said, they also don't have the keyboards in stock, and are only dies stock of the tablets themselves in a week or so.
Its does give us a hint at the expected price though... £100 is a lot!!

I bumped the other thread about this, but here's what I posted...
In case people missed it, another one of those "deal" sites is offering the same exact card now for the same price. $35 shipped. I frequently see stuff that doesn't sell out on 1saleaday.com get offered there after a few days. They have a "status bar" kind of like how Woot does during the wootoffs so you can see how much available stock is left. Looks like they might have this for a couple of days, but I wouldn't wait too long.

I trusted my gut and went with Champagne. But yeah, Asus is keeping that color hidden or something! Its kind of like the illusive iPhone 4 white a year ago...

Well, as luck would have it, I saw a tweet today about being able to go see the transformer prime at select Gamestop locations. There were two in Colorado that were supposed to have them to demo.
I called one of them in Denver, they said they had a display unit and a unit to sale. Well, hop in the car, and now I have an Amethyst Grey 32GB sitting next to me, completely sealed.
I wanted the 64GB version, and I think I will hold for that from Amazon. I'll probably just sell this one on craigslist.
I know I'm very lucky. The first time I've ever had anything like this happen to me.

Stuck it on Craigslist. Some of the people on IRC are saying I should take a dump of the rom before I sell it. However, if I open, I can't return it. Decisions, decisions.
Just called a gamestop about 75 miles away from me & they have the 32gb champagne gold one (purple) but i'm thinking i won't ever hardly ever be looking at the back of the thing anyway lol.My Xoom stays in a gel cover or either the folio at all times..so color really shouldnt be a big deal.

Oh lol my bad then that's the color i meant because the guy on the phone was like it looks dark purple..lol..he better call me back pronto.He said he wanted make sure it wasn't a defective unit they had but was sure that one wasnt the one.He just wanted to check with the manager before telling me anything else.

Lucky Mofo. If you don't plan on keeping it, smartest move now would be to put it on eBay. I'm sure you could easily get $800 or more for it. Since it's so rare and not even officially out yet. You should contribute by dumping the rom to developers so we could have a nice headstart on developing. The sooner the better and faster we get custom roms, CWM recovery, n over clocking.
Do a system dump dude listen to them then sell it on ebay I'm sure even opened you could still get Atleast 600! Just leave the clear plastic stickers on

Aftermseeing this thread I called around to local gamestops to see if they had it. They said only the big store ones around here would have it. I found one and they said none in stock yet but they will have it on the 19th. Only thing is he said they only taking pre orders on it so once they come in, they pretty much all will be accounted for. Especially since demand is so high. He said everybody been calling like crazy and going bananas looking for that tablet. I was like I know, it's the first quad core android tablet..LMFAO
