just do the changes it says in your stock framework

There you go! this is stock framework with 9ls and ICS animation... I made it for my self few weeks ago.. anyways this is not a CWM zip!! u gonna have to install manually just put frameworks files into framework folder /system/framework/ and setting.apk in /system/app/
I'd suggest that you make backup first... So that if anything goes wrong u wont have to reflash or anything...

why not just use one of the cm7 themes available on the android market? there's a really neat ics theme available which i'm using.

There are already Arc themes out there, so AFAIK you could just extract such a theme, edit the png files, rebuild the apk and you´re done.(Correct me if I´m wrong, I´m just a noob in such things ).
But note that you need the permission from the creator of the theme you´ve choosen to upload it here.
Maybe you didn't signed the apk?

I encountered some problems and need some answers while making a cm7 rom.
( Be Prepared )
1.How to change the whole theme while making the rom? I downloaded a cm7 theme but it just gives an apk file (I need to boot so I can change it in theme chooser), but how can I change it from the start like Sonygenmod and ICS ROM !!?
2.Boot animation does not show up, I tried to put the bootanimation.zip in data/local does not work, tried in System/media where the ORIGINAL bootanimation.zip is but still nothing.
3.Lockscreen themes give something like wltheme.zip , where can I use them and change the lockscreen from the start like problem 1?
Please help if you can, cause I'm dying to finish this ROM
1) You need to edit framework-res.apk and systemui.apk
2)might be your boot animation have some problems.

Hello, you can download my tweak package which has the keyboard but not the locksreen. Apart from that it gives you stock xperia 2011 line appearence through menus and apps, and many performance improvements. You can download it here. Be sure to take a full backup before installing to be able to restore from a bad flash

lol man you don't know in 2.1 stock ROM lockscreen was not an app that was a framework based.
I mod framework of XGIN 6.1 and GDX v21 and got these two lockscreens.
Too much work..???naaah that was only 5Min work...

Actually I Changed The Icon To Creed Messaing Icon..So It Is Same..In Creed's Rom he Edited The MMS.apk So If You Need To Change The Icon You Need To Edit The Apk And Push It back To Sytem/Apps..I tried It But I Can't Change The Creed Messaging Icon.
