I am looking to purchase a Gray keyboard dock for the Transformer Prime TF201. If you happen to be one of the ones that is stuck with a dock and no tablet I would like to purchase it from you.
Please no inflated prices ... I am willing to pay $190.00 for it which should easily cover the original price, taxes, and expedited shipping to me.
I'm buying this for my daughter for Christmas so any help would be appreciated!

I don't think anyone even has the dock yet, sorry. If they did, I don't think breaking even on expenses is worth having gone through all the trouble of finding one.
Given that docks are tougher to come by than tablets, good luck getting one with no premium.

Personally if I had the dock I would sell it to him. The dock doesn't make or break a tablet for me. Hope you find one
The docks will arrive at online stores on January 5th. There are a whole bunch arriving then.

I wish we had things like that over here...
I use this as a Daily internet portal, listening to music on Spotify, ebook, sketch design concepts, taking notes for work. Anytime I travel, this Little tablet is the one thing I take with me on the plane. I don't really play that many games on it, some and it does a decent job for that. So I think these Specs will be fine as long as the Apps I use doesn't require a Quad-Core. Might gift another tablet to myself, but probably sell it to a co-worker who might need the all around awesomeness of HTC Flyer at cost.

Just got in for the $199 Open Box HTC Flyer. I'm so glad I waited. I came so close to buying this afternoon and then I went to work at 4pm to 2 am came home and it was $100 cheaper then the $299 I was gonna pay.
FYI: I just checked eBay and they are still selling for around $290 used.
Looks like they sold out of the refurbs that were $180.

Same here. It was $295 and I almost bought one but went to Best Buy to ***** at them in person for jerking me around. I come home about an hour later (found a friend camping outside Best Buy) and it was $199.49! I couldn't click buy fast enough. Thank you Best Buy but you still suck.
I also bought one from techforless. We will see what happens. They got good reviews on Google shopper.

I live in Colorado Springs and have purchased from Tech for less many times, to all that have doubts, I would say you have nothing to worry about and will receive a quality product for the price, the reason they did this is because they had over 800 yesterday and when they have a large amout of inventory they do what is called a fire sale and that is how they move a lot of merchandise in a very short period of time. I wish I would have seen the sale would have liked one myself, OH WELL I guess I just missed out. Congrats to all that got one you got a heck of a deal!!!

Since we now have confirmation that some or most of the tablet preorders from Amazon, Tigerdirect, Gamespot will be fulfilled the week of the 19th, I'm curious if the dock will also be available next week.
I'd like to have both on Christmas day so I can show my family how much cooler it is than their iPad.
Honestly? Just like the uncertainty around whether the Prime would ship the week of the 12th or 19th or later, no one knows. That's what makes this launch so... "interesting".

there is no reason for the dock to have any kind of delay since it doesn't have wifi and it's any kind of new tech fabrication, asus probably held them back so stores aren't sending docks that people can't use.
i'm hoping the scarcity of the TFP makes the docks easy to come by, i remember having issues trying to find one for the original TF.

I have my Prime preordered at Gamestop and I called earlier inquiring Docks. Equal quantity of docks for the Prime preorders. And since Gamestop only sold the grey tablet, docks are grey as well. Conveniently, people are getting me Gamestop gift cards now which works to offset the cost of both.
Almost everyone posting after talking to a GameStop store mentioned they said they were also getting docks. I'd imagine not everyone getting the Prime will be getting the dock so I'd guess some GameStop's will have docks, perhaps even when they have no Prime's left. With two colors you not only have to find a dock you also have to find it in the right color. Good times.
Been a few days since this thread was updated. Has anyone been able to find just the docks for sale anywhere?
I was lucky enough to get the Prime online from Office Depot yesterday (knock wood), and now I am desperately searching for the TF201-DOCK-GR. I'm heading out of the country for two weeks and it would sure be nice to have a complete Transformer Prime unit!
I'd love to find one as well. Anybody know where to get a TF201-DOCK-GR??
Best Buy sent my dock already, but no tablet.
Perhaps the dock will be worth more on eBay than the Prime is?

I am wondering why the gray TFP is not available when you do a regular search. I had to do a google search to find it. It's under Other Product Categories and then Exclusive Offers categories where it can not be found by searching. It's a good thing for me since it's hard to find I was able to buy one earlier today.

It's not just the Prime I've noticed in general best buys product search blows I give it a 1 out of 10 .

Or you could just get one of the cases meant for the prime and keyboard, cover the color and no one will ever know. Sorry if I just made it harder to not click add to cart

I went ahead and put my order in online. I too find it odd that you must go thru the Asus site or use the SKU to search for the prime on the Best Buy site. At any rate, they quoted me an in-store pickup date of 1/14/12. Hope that actually comes to fruition.
I just got my first prime today. Everything seems fine but two stuck pixels in the center of the screen. One green, one red. None of the "fixes" I have looked up online work so I ordered up another and will return this one. I will continue this process until I get a perfect one.

Amazon has the Minisuit case available now. I got mine on Tuesday (this week).
As for the dock, you might want to check Best Buy (the last time I checked, they have them in the warehouse and ship to store)

your best bet is to preorder the mini suit it was scheduled to be released late febuary mine is already here.
Looks like they have them in brown now as well. I think it is releasing tomorrow. No need to wait until March if that is your color. I personally think it looks better than the black one.

For the OP:
Just remember, (if you have been researching the Prime, this is not news to you) - Make sure wherever you pick one up that they a) Have a good return policy, and CHECK it, don't assume. and b) Ideally they have a decent amount of stock. It doesn't help if you get a defective unit if there is nothing in stock to exchange it FOR.
Good luck. The Prime is a beautiful device. I hope you eithr get or plan to get a keyboard dock, as it's not just an accessory. It's the Primes "Other half", LOL - but is awesome and makes the Prime special and unique (or did until Lenovo ripped off the idea) I wonder what, if any kind of patents Asus has on the dock. It could never be completely unique to Asus, but they have done it so well, few if any can approach the tight integration that Asus has.

It's very hard to find one trust me. Not one Best Buy in Michigan, Ohio, or Indiana has any available.After researching like mad. This where I just bought mine. Same exact thing.

Finally found one ! and it was the ONLY one my local Tiger Direct Brick & Mortar had one, Found one dock @ my local Best Buy just Finished with all the OTA updates WiFi is good Haven't tried Bluetooth yet I tried GPS briefly and got no lock.... off to research ! Man this thing is AWESOME !!!
