They are now out of stock. I ordered one Saturday and received my tracking number today, should have it by Wednesday.
sorry guy, you missed the boat on that one. a couple of articles released a link for the gray ones, that you couldn't get to from the regular site. they were available on Friday and sat when I checked again out of curiosity, but now they are sold out. I think the link is still hidden though for the gray ones.

Sorry, maybe I was not clear enough in my original post.....
So, the purpose of this post was to inform others of another means of purchasing the gray Prime to save the time looking for an article with a special link. That was all. How did I miss the boat if I in fact ordered one from the Best Buy mobile app???

OK. Sorry, was just excited about finding it and ordering it. I do read the threads but may have overlooked the mention of ordering it via the mobile app with all the excitement of the holiday. Maybe if the previous replies to this thread would have stated the same instead of making mention of the special link only......

Just checked, New-egg.com US website still showing ETA of 12/27- They are a major electronics e-tailer here in the US, so I am "cautiously optimistic" that something may change and they receive stock and ship at or around the same time as Best-Buy on 12/18. They haven't sent any e-mails or any updates since they changed the original ship date from 12/8 to 12/27..... Just a ray of hope is all I have left to cling to..... what has become of me??? I ask myself- will my prime ever arrive to save the day???

Given that Newegg posted the 12/27 ETA over a week ago when it seemed that no retailer had any idea when they'd be arriving, I don't see how the date could be set in stone. It's unfortunate that no one at customer service has any idea what's going on, but since I haven't heard that date from any other seller, I'm assuming it's pretty meaningless. Just wish I knew whether there's any chance we'll get them before Xmas.

That's the reason for this very important thread. Left alone to the vagaries of preorder and shipdates, people would start to spontaneously explode, kind of like when the laser thingy hit people in the War of the Worlds. Without letting off some steam the surface tension of their skin would pass the point of static balance then poof.
Well F*** Asus for telling me that their system still show to be on schedule a week after the NCIX Wifi-Delay email broke out. My first time purchasing from Asus and some of you guys say they have good service. All i've gotten atm is this delay crap, no official information from Asus, their online chat that doesn't work, and waiting 30mins on the phone for Asus CSR to tell me there is no ETA for Canada.

I guess it is a lot less appealing than the Nexus 4. Oh well, let's hope this changes once the display models start hitting the stores.

So why are you still posting here? Just to tell us that we made the wrong decision? well based on the reviews I read, and the videos I watched MY decision was to buy one. I'm just not seeing those as negative reviews. They hit on all the same "it's not an iPad" talking points, but as an Android tablet user since the original Galaxy Tab through the Tab 8.9 LTE and Nexus 7, I pretty much discount most of those points.
And the performance issues don't worry me based on what I've seen, it seems capable and at least as fast as a 1280x800 Tegra 3 tablet, and far faster than a 1280x800 Tegra 2 tablet. I really don't like Android gaming, so if it browses cleanly and handles video playback well, that's all I need.
Frankly, I bought it for the display and AOSP. Wish it had removable storage, but so far that's it for my list of negatives.

I just ordered mine as well. Strange these still are in stock considering how fast the Nexus 4 sold out
I just placed an order for a 32GB one.
About half an hour to an hour earlier there were none for sale.
So I think they're currently sorting through all the multi-order shennanigans from earlier.
Order status though is 'pending'
Snagged up a 16GB one, I was planing on getting the N4 first then this but guess I will reverse the order, who knows when the N4 will be available again. Play Store in Canada showing the 32GB sold out now.

I'm not holding my breath on getting it this week, since it looks like it's coming out of Toronto. And why do they ship stuff to Toronto that probably came off the boat in Vancouver from Korea/China to start with? I mean, seriously, my Nexus 10 already passed through town, now it's got to come back?. Seems like it would make more sense to warehouse it at the port of entry.

It will change the location to Texas, states at the time of shipment. Happened to me twice when I ordered my nexus 7's back in July and September. Took 4 freaking days to ship as well

I order one of the cheapies already and I only found 2 people that say the ones they are selling are 100% auth ($60). Of course anyone can say its authentic and sell fake, however the 2 vendors I looked at have deep and decent ratings. Anywho, it looks like no stateside source yet. I am still scratching my head as to how they can release the phone and no accessories.
Strange..really surprised they aren't listed as an accessory yet. Samsung dropped the ball there.

Here, some wireless companies had cases (Although the better ones take time to come out) but to my knowledge, most of the time they don't have official Samsung accessories on launch. Samsung didn't "drop the ball" Blame whoever you purchased the phone from in Greece, for not carrying any type of accessories.
I dont see the back battery covers =-(
Samsung is always really delayed when it comes to accessories though.
Government shut down makes customs slow for shipments.

those from china are fakes, the s view hole is bigger and when u flip to the back it blocks the camera and it has no metal pins to connect to the phone so it doesnt have s view function
