So why are you still posting here? Just to tell us that we made the wrong decision? well based on the reviews I read, and the videos I watched MY decision was to buy one. I'm just not seeing those as negative reviews. They hit on all the same "it's not an iPad" talking points, but as an Android tablet user since the original Galaxy Tab through the Tab 8.9 LTE and Nexus 7, I pretty much discount most of those points.
And the performance issues don't worry me based on what I've seen, it seems capable and at least as fast as a 1280x800 Tegra 3 tablet, and far faster than a 1280x800 Tegra 2 tablet. I really don't like Android gaming, so if it browses cleanly and handles video playback well, that's all I need.
Frankly, I bought it for the display and AOSP. Wish it had removable storage, but so far that's it for my list of negatives.

I just ordered mine as well. Strange these still are in stock considering how fast the Nexus 4 sold out
I just placed an order for a 32GB one.
About half an hour to an hour earlier there were none for sale.
So I think they're currently sorting through all the multi-order shennanigans from earlier.
Order status though is 'pending'
Snagged up a 16GB one, I was planing on getting the N4 first then this but guess I will reverse the order, who knows when the N4 will be available again. Play Store in Canada showing the 32GB sold out now.

I'm not holding my breath on getting it this week, since it looks like it's coming out of Toronto. And why do they ship stuff to Toronto that probably came off the boat in Vancouver from Korea/China to start with? I mean, seriously, my Nexus 10 already passed through town, now it's got to come back?. Seems like it would make more sense to warehouse it at the port of entry.

It will change the location to Texas, states at the time of shipment. Happened to me twice when I ordered my nexus 7's back in July and September. Took 4 freaking days to ship as well

I think this indicates that Sprint sold a lot.more phones than anticipated and had to cut wirefly short to meet their own obligation. Wirefly orderers should have been concerned when they hit the order button but they should especially be concerned about the s 4 shortage.

Dont believe anything Currys/PC World is telling anyone. I suspect they are saying those things in the hope people will wait and buy from them.
Heres an idea. Ring the Customer Sales line 5 times, you will get 5 different answers.
They havent got a clue.
When I went in to my Local Curry's, the Manager told me he didnt even know when the Nexus 7 was coming in untill his stock arrived by courier.
Gamestop has it listed in their system but no release yet as of a few days ago when I inquired in-store while pre-ordering a Neo-Geo X Gold bundle & an additional arcade stick (woohoo!!!). FWIW, I inquired at a local wally world & they had no clue what I was talking about as they thought I was referring to the N7 also although I did see the shelf sticker listing for it. He scanned the barcode & it wasn't in-stock yet.
There was a spare place on the display rack at local Walmart here in Salt Lake City. Label on shelf had Samsung GT-whatever, which after checking the internet, corresponded to the N10. $499. Asked but no one had a clue. Maybe it'll be in stock by the weekend?

I went to a couple of Walmarts in my area today (Mississauga/Toronto). It didn't look like they had any in the store. I even asked a couple of people who worked there and they kept on telling me I was confused with the nexus 7.
They don't sell them at Walmart in Canada, but they do in the US!

Just got Nexus 10 in Canada
I live in Vancouver and I just got my Nexus 10 last week. Here are the things I did:
1. Register an account at a pick-up location at the US border. There are many pick-up locations servicing Canadians at the border. You just need to pay $3 to $5 for each item shipped there.
2. Change the credit card billing address to that US pick-up location, for just one day.
3. Search on google for a "high anonymity" proxy server in the US. Enter its IP address and port number into your browser settings. This is to trick the google play store that you are located in USA instead of Canada.
4. Now go to google play store. What you will see is the US store instead of the Canada store.
5. Both 16GB and 32GB models are available. It says "ship in 1 to 2 weeks" for the 32GB model. I ordered it using the credit card with the US billing address. It shipped within 2 days.
6. When the item arrives the pick-up location, you will normally receive an e-mail from that location. Drive across the border to there and pay a few dollars to pick it up.
7. Just unbox it, take the tablet and all the accessories. If you want the original box, just mail it back to Canada and don't bring it together with yourself. This is to prevent custom duty when crossing the border back to Canada.
8. If you want to save the State tax (8.7% in Washington State), you can register an account at reship.com. They are located in Oregon so that you don't need to pay any state tax. Have google store ship to them, and they will re-ship your tablet to the US border. You just need to pay a fee to reship.com and it's cheaper than the state tax.
16gb now available on the Canadian play store.

So what? True or not, its not like the Nexus 10 is not powerful enough. And that would still be in a couple months.
I'd rather have a Nexus 10 tomorrow than have a revised Nexus 10 in 3 months. Its not wasted money, you still have your Nexus 10.
I ordered one today. Funny thing is it was "Estimate Delivery : 25th January" then "Estimated Shipping : 25th January" and now "Delivered" lol.

That's the Nexus 4. The Nexus 10, regardless of the price is the first tablet to compete with the iPad (through pure android, hires, build). So yeah the price is a perk but not the whole point of it like at 100$ less, vs the Nexus 4 which is half price at similar quality/feature.
But no, I wouldn't buy any tablet for 700$.

When I click on the "view your order" link I got in my email from HTC, it shows that the phone will be shipped and delivered on 4/9. I did pay the eighteen bucks for same day shipping. What are your estimated delivery dates? And are you a psyched as I am to (possibly) get it early.

Mine says that too and I ordered the 32GB Unlocked version, but according to the other HTC One M7 Section, someone talked on the phone with a rep and they said that it was a placeholder date. All phones release on the 18th unfortunately.

Nobody actually knows this for sure. It may very well ship Monday, it says so. That section is there for a reason, to tell you the ship date. Yes it could be a screw up but maybe not. This wouldn't be the first time that phoning a rep resulted in wrong info..
I'm being an optimist here because mine says the same thing lol. I just canceled my ATT pre-order because i'm afraid bootloader wont be unlockable like the OG ATT One X.

It is possible that those of us that payed for next day shipping will get the device early. It wouldn't be the first time a device has fallen into the hands of customers before the official release date. HTC wouldn't have anything to lose, shipping the Dev edition early would just build hype for the phone anyway. I'm just sitting here praying I'm right..

Probably not cheezy. Why? because no hacks involved to unlock the dev version, they arent needed. Thats why its a dev version. Hopefully ATT will allow it and it wont have to be h4xed.
If you want the developer edition, it seems the forum you will be using mostly is the Internation/main forum.

If they are using standard FedEX/UPS ground and shipping from one of the major hubs (Kentucky or Tennessee) then that's only a easy 2-4 day trip to anywhere in the states. I doubt they are doing this...phone would be there way before the 15th

That's a pretty major difference if you're talking about porting ROMs from CDMA to gsm and vise versa
Seen it plenty of times before, its always the last thing fixed on CDMA phones. At least the HTC ones
It may be different with this phone since the hardware from each other is nearly identical, but I wouldn't get anyone's hopes up

Nah think about the nexus s. The nexus s and nexus s 4g were separated by about 3 files. The sgs3 series uses mostly the same files. There will likely be a patch that can flash all the needed ones.

Just went to a Verizon store to get a DNA with a $100 off promotion. While I was tinkering with the phone the rep looked up the deal. He said said I should wait till 5/14 because they will have a free promotion. So I'm gonna wait. Till then. Hope this helps.

that's a great deal its like getting it unlocked for free and then some.

Ya seems life a great deal. makes me wonder if there is another phone coming out soon. That's awful quick that they are dropping the price on it so soon.

I expect an HTC one announcement shortly after 5/14 (30 days ?). Typical VZW. Will offload the phone on thousands of people and lock them into 2 year contracts before the new model comes along.

Offload the phone? For someone who bought the DNA 5 months ago it may not have been realistic to wait until late May for the next option.
Personally I'm very happy with the DNA and to act like Verizon scammed you by selling it to you is a little silly if you ask me.

It looks like the S4 had been released or already pre orders. I'm sorry but I haven't don't my due diligence researching on the One. But how does it stand above the DNA? And has it even been confirmed its coming to Verizon?
If this is real my friend might give android over ios a shot. His iphone 4 is starting to get hardware issues everywhere.

I got mine in January and I am content with it as well. This phone does everything I need it to easily. I don't play many games on it because I would rather do that on xbox..... so instead of saving my money for a new phone I am saving for the new xbox.

The sales rep said you enter your email and a unique bar code is generated and then take that to the Verizon store to receive the free DNA. I don't know if I'll have the time before work, but as guess i can wait till after..... Wouldn't get to much work accomplished with new toy. I am going to ask if the they have any 1.5 firmware phones. Seems like a long shot but someone else was successful in finding one.

I can't locate it. If you do, please post a link. If it turns out to be an error(would hardly be the first time a Verizon store rep was completely wrong) Amazon has the DNA for $20 for new customers and$40 for eligible upgrade.com

I just had an online chat with VZW customer service to see if I could confirm the rumor. Here is the result:
"The DNA is free will be free at this time there is a website error so the correct price is not showing up we are working on this now we are very sorry for the inconvenience. It should be fixed later today."
