This thread is justified. The other main thread regarding this is mostly for those who bought theirs from google play. I for one have called all local walmarts and office depots and no one at any store has any idea at all.
Yeah I agree. I'm definitely looking to pick one up in-store after hearing about all of Google's online shop shenanigans.

Dont believe anything Currys/PC World is telling anyone. I suspect they are saying those things in the hope people will wait and buy from them.
Heres an idea. Ring the Customer Sales line 5 times, you will get 5 different answers.
They havent got a clue.
When I went in to my Local Curry's, the Manager told me he didnt even know when the Nexus 7 was coming in untill his stock arrived by courier.
Gamestop has it listed in their system but no release yet as of a few days ago when I inquired in-store while pre-ordering a Neo-Geo X Gold bundle & an additional arcade stick (woohoo!!!). FWIW, I inquired at a local wally world & they had no clue what I was talking about as they thought I was referring to the N7 also although I did see the shelf sticker listing for it. He scanned the barcode & it wasn't in-stock yet.
There was a spare place on the display rack at local Walmart here in Salt Lake City. Label on shelf had Samsung GT-whatever, which after checking the internet, corresponded to the N10. $499. Asked but no one had a clue. Maybe it'll be in stock by the weekend?

Short answer is no, unless they are going to only be sold online only and not in stores(VZW Stores) and I really doubt that is happening. Sorry. VZW stores don't receive shipments on Sundays either so no chance.

My best buy told me (as of 11:30am NY time) that they have no release date at all.
Which is better than the other best buys I called last week telling me they had them and would sell on the 24th..
BMX tweeted that this week was a go. I am betting Thursday.
Yesterday I asked someone working at a kiosk in Costco about the TB, he said he had no idea about a release date but did say that Best Buy had 60 days of exclusivity. Waiting an extra 2 months to pick this phone up from a reseller, for what it's actually worth, makes this a definite pass for me.

Amazon and Wirefly and others should have it day 1. Its only retail store exclusive, not completely exclusive.
This may be why Verizon stores also have not received the phones yet. Because they are retail exclusive to Best Buy, the way the Nexus S is on T-Mobile, Best Buy only in stores, or online.

I don't think VZW stores would get as many accessories and promotional material as they did for the device and not sell it.

I ordered in store and was told an email would go out when it is ready for pick up. I called the store yesterday in the hopes that I could pick it up early... They have the Gnote but will not be releasing any until Sunday. ARGH!! I want my note. LOL

Just came back from Best Buy Mobile they told me the shipment was in and my Note was there but I can't pick it up til Sunday wich I am fine with as long as I get my free case and $50 bucks off and don't have to wait til Tues
this doesn't make sense to me. AT&T and Best Buy get their phones at the same time yet we have to wait until after it's available at the stores and those who ordered from AT&T already got theirs. At least ship it so I get it the same day it's available at the store.
You people are acting like this is a huge surprise that they won't let you get it now. We have a CONTRACT with At&t to not sell until Sunday. You all knew this when You preordered. To the people complaining about them not shipping in Sunday, well looks like YOU made the dumb decision to not just go pick it up in stores.

I'm glad I ordered through Best Buy... I just went to an AT&T store during lunch to ask if they have received any Notes in yet because I wanted to see one just to see how big it actually was. I haven't held one yet, just have seen pictures. I saw a rep walking toward me and I asked him if they had received any yet and he said no, to which I said that it surprised me... He then told me that it was supposed to be released this spring! I, rather sarcastically, replied that it was going to be released on Sunday, then walked out the door.
Really? You're supposed to support a device as big, and NOTEworthy (pun intended) as this and you don't even know when it's going to be released?!

Hi, I checked 10 stores in New York and still only 2 stores had it, and they don't have display models in the store. I think once it goes on sale or its going to be available in stores we will have more people here. The phone is a beautiful phone and it will get sales.

Best buy in Commack NY had it. I assume most do (they get bigger shipments)
Over here in California (bay area) they (AT&T) won't have them in until the end of November due to "clearing out the devices for the newer one's" in order to make space for the new one's, weird how they managed to squeeze in the GIANTIC GNII

So why are you still posting here? Just to tell us that we made the wrong decision? well based on the reviews I read, and the videos I watched MY decision was to buy one. Therefore I am participating in this community and hoping to get more information that contributes to my purchase and at the same time offering what positive points I can to help others.

I'm just not seeing those as negative reviews. They hit on all the same "it's not an iPad" talking points, but as an Android tablet user since the original Galaxy Tab through the Tab 8.9 LTE and Nexus 7, I pretty much discount most of those points.
And the performance issues don't worry me based on what I've seen, it seems capable and at least as fast as a 1280x800 Tegra 3 tablet, and far faster than a 1280x800 Tegra 2 tablet. I really don't like Android gaming, so if it browses cleanly and handles video playback well, that's all I need.
Frankly, I bought it for the display and AOSP. Wish it had removable storage, but so far that's it for my list of negatives.

I just ordered mine as well. Strange these still are in stock considering how fast the Nexus 4 sold out
I just placed an order for a 32GB one.
About half an hour to an hour earlier there were none for sale.
So I think they're currently sorting through all the multi-order shennanigans from earlier.
Order status though is 'pending'
Snagged up a 16GB one, I was planing on getting the N4 first then this but guess I will reverse the order, who knows when the N4 will be available again. Play Store in Canada showing the 32GB sold out now.
Any canucks get shipping info at all tonight? Nothing here yet.

I'm not holding my breath on getting it this week, since it looks like it's coming out of Toronto. And why do they ship stuff to Toronto that probably came off the boat in Vancouver from Korea/China to start with? I mean, seriously, my Nexus 10 already passed through town, now it's got to come back?. Seems like it would make more sense to warehouse it at the port of entry.

It will change the location to Texas, states at the time of shipment. Happened to me twice when I ordered my nexus 7's back in July and September. Took 4 freaking days to ship as well

I preordered mine late in the day around 8pm on 9/7/13 at best buy in California.
The guy told me they were open for preorders the day before but I was still the first one to preorder.
They had papers lying around everywhere so everyone knew they were taking preorders and had a samsung rep answering questions.
I just called my local Best Buy. Rep said I could put $50 down towards the purchase price as a pre-order, but he had no launch date. Apparently Utah's Best Buys know something they don't here. Nothing new. We're the last to know in the South

Ha..that's why i asked for a Samsung rep! 4 of the 5 best buyers didn't have an answer, one even said sometime end of oct!
the one rep actually looked at 2 different systems for me and said the same oct 4th...

The Sprint Note 3 has a street date of October 4th. None of the other ones have been determined so far. That also doesn't guarantee that best buy will have it that soon for Sprint but just means they are sellable on the 4th for Sprint.

Called my local Best Buy (Metro Atlanta area) and asked about Verizon Note 3 availability and I was told "either October 3rd or 4th"! I hope stores don't get them before folks that preordered do This, being my first preorder, would be my luck LOL
If the employees you guys have talked to bothered reading the whole articles they send out to us they would know that the new information yesterday about the 4th only pertained to the sprint version.

changed the urls from a different product w/ the note3 sku, and none are available in my area
Went and played with the AT&T GN3 at BestBuy on Friday, it surprisingly felt smaller in hand than the GN2 (coming from a GNex). The Samsung guy there, Charlotte NC, was sticking to the 10th for Vz.
I pre-ordered from BestBuy so hopefully they receive it on the 10th.

CSR's are STILL unable to tell me if the device will launch tomorrow at their stores. I did not pre-order as I am unsure whether or not i'll keep it; they return the $50.00 preorder fee as a gift card, (which I have no use for). Even BB chat was unable to provide any reassurance anybody care to shed light?
