Please help with stock rom - HTC Jetstream

Please somebody can upload the stock at&t rom for me. I have a jetstream from at&t and I need to reflash my device urgent. I removed all the at&t apps and market accidently. I have a rooted jetstream with the CWM recovery on it. So I prefer a flashable .Zip format from recovery but an original RUU is okay too. I cant flash that zip which is uploaded by football in the roms topic. So please share this rom if you have an at&t device caus mine is useless in this state.
Thanks for your help

I always get security fail update error when I try to update any rom from footballs topic. My jetstream is unlocked, rooted, cwm recovery is on.

I,ve deleted some system files now I cannot install anything from market. Btw I was angry and deleted market too.

Or somebody Please S-OFF Jetstream. This security flag going me crazy!!

Please send me PM urgently if you can backup your stock ATT rom with doomlords CWM recovery backup function!!
system image backup (system.ext4.tar)
I'm sure a lot of jetstream users need the original stock rom for their device if anything goes wrong it can easily reflash using original RUU or nandroid backup.
I searched the whole internet for the official RUU but no seccess

Thanks for helping.

Here are the STOCK ATT Rom for your Jetstream.
Is it useful when you bricked your device or just need to reflash it. Like mine.

Thanks Folks and I will post other versions as well if I have more.
Um, doesn't them being edited by these devs make them not stock?
I mean, I guess I'm thinking of a RUU. ??
I would like to have the ATT RUU laying around, just for whatever.
Official ATT RUU is is not available in the internet. I have searched the whole net for it. Only Rogers Puccini has RUU. You can only restore this backups.
Sent from my HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio Z715e using XDA App
Alright, downloading now since I"m off work.
Omg the slowness. 9 hours remaining. ;___;
I flashed the BMWboy Rom, which is not the BMWboy v.01 Rom posted elsewhere (it is closer to a straight ruu but not exactly)
So, now it seems that titanium backup and SU are denied root privileges. So.... After flashing this (restoring back up, rather) I have to root again? Though doomlord said it was a permroot...
Is this because we have not achieved s-off ?
Edit: Yea, totally had to re-root my jetstream, which took 2 minutes, but... S-on's fault?
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
Remember. When you flash these roms you overwrite the system folder of your device. Root and SU is stored in system folder. You have to rerun root process and after that you will have a permroot I told you this is close to a stock rom I use it too Read the description carefully. S-ON/S-OFF dosnt matter for root
This is your only chance to reflash your device which was from ATT if something goes wrong caus ATT Official RUU is not available nowhere on the net and ATT dont allow to update the device software in the near future. I hope we can get ICS.
If you have a Rogers Puccini you are luck caus your device is free (S-OFF) and has an official RUU to update or flash back to stock
Wifi doesn't work. I tried bothm but get the same problem
Are you using a rogers puccini or ATT jetstream device?

Soft-brick
I was wondering if anyone could help me save my jetstream from a soft-brick/bootloop. You can follow this link for all the info.
Quick summary:
I made some changes to the apns.xml file in the framework-res.apk file
when I pushed this back to the tablet I had to force close a bunch of apps
I rebooted tablet and now I'm stuck in a bootloop.
I've tried to factory reset from HBOOT several times.
I don't have CWM, but I do have access to fastboot.
No access to adb.
I want to reflash the system partition with this "stock" version via fastboot. All the posts I've found providing instructions on this call for "fastboot flash system system.img", how do I create a system.img? I'm sorry to post a link to my post in this forum, but I've only had one reply and I'm hoping this will give my problem more exposure to some of the skilled Android developers.
Thank you.
i don't know if it'll help you - but you can extract a system.img file from the RUU that's around the forum somewhere.
if you run the EXE file (even with the device disconnected) its unpacking to a temp folder. just run the RUU and search the temp folder for rom.zip
in there u'll find what u need.

[Q] CM 10.1 folder issue

Hello friends,
This is my first ever post on xda, I've been rooting and flashing for about 2 years now, and xda has always been spot on when it came to finding solutions, anyhow I have stumbled upon a problem for which I am unable to find a solution for, this message is a distress call, kindly help me out.
I was using a rooted hox+ for a couple of months now with a 4.2 pure rom without any issues, I felt like checking out the cm10.1 by lloir , so I downloaded all the necessary files and stuffed in into my phone. I cleared up my dalvik caches and made a full wipe (factory reset ), then I flashed the rom ( CM10.1 by lloir) and the gapps bundled with it, and then the appropriate kernel (mentioned in the rom thread, I made sure It was the very same ). every thing went on perfect untill i the rom got booted, after which i wasnt able to use any of my gapps nor download anything frm the browser, Now I am aware that this is because of the change from 4.1 to 4.2 where the default folder is changed due to multi user thing. Ive read and searched the threads for any possible solution, I stumbled upon a similar situation by a xda member "member" on the CM10.1 thread, he had the same problem that i was facing which he got through, but he got through it by accident which is why I am unable to track his steps for a solution. Now the situation is such that I have and erased sd card with no data at all, the only thing that is fine is that the ROM and the recovery are in a working condition. Im unable to sideload anyother roms or any of that stuff.
Due to the fact that this is my first post I cant directly post anything on the CM10.1 thread which is why im trying this indirect method, any senior member who can help me out here or any moderator who can get me through to the CM10.1 thread, I would appriciate that a lot. I really need my phone back with working google apps and a proper file structure compatible with 4.2, I was wondering if i could manually create a folder wich may accomplish that but I wouldn't know how to, any light on that would also be of help apart from any other solution.

First did you try clearing Cache and Data for GAPPS in setings>apps?
Do you have CWM or TWRP installed? Have you tried sideloading another Rom through recovery?
Well, your sdcard is wiped so i take it all your important files were backed up. Easiest solution would be re-lock the bootloader and use the RUU for your device. Then unlock bootloader and re-root. Not optimal i know, but it will work.

Firstly thankyou for a quick response,
Yes, I did clear the cache.
I use CWM recovery, I tried sideloading through it, all the drivers are installed properly, but I'm unsure as to why the sideloading through the One X+ toolkit doesn;t function, anyhow as advised above I shall defenitely try re-locking the bootloader, but as far as the RUU is concerned I wouldn't know which one is for my device, If you could help me locate it and mention a few steps regarding its implemention, I'd be grateful. Im using the international version of the HTC OneX+.

use the app available on the playstore or here called CID Getter. Then use the cid to find out which RUU you need and download RUU from here.

the playstore ain't functioning bro, I can't access any google apps, and am unable to download anything at all from the browser. I'm really not sure what the callsign of my device is, If you'd rather confirm it for me, I think it is known as the endeavour, if I you can pinpoint the RUU file ... I shall get to implementing it asap bro. And I shall be using hasoon2000 one x+ all in one kit to install the RUU,
please advice.

Your device is not endeavour, but endeavor C2. it is shown as ENRC2B though
the problem is i can't pinpoint your device. just no way for me to tell which version you need. if you look at this link, you will see that there are many options for international version of HOX+. I have the ATT version.
One of those RUUs is for your device. You might want to take a look and see if something looks like it would work for you.
using ADB to get CID
1. boot into bootloader (volume down + power button) or connect phone to pc via usb, in adb type : adb reboot-bootloader
2. you're now in bootloader
3. type fastboot getvar cid (in windows) or sudo fastboot getvar cid (in ubuntu/debian), you'll see cid:HTC_044 (my case)
Then look here to find out which version
k I got it... its HTC__J15
I've downloaded the firmware.zip but i can't get through to the dropbox link for the RUU variants in the above mentioned thread !!!
Edit : I got through to the RUU variants too, there are about nine of them.crossing out vodafone and o2 im left with 7. RU
edit 2 : okay, 3 RUU's with the numbers x.xx.415.x in the list. can anyone of them be used ?

yes but you may need to flash back stock recovery before you relock. Not sure if it will just flash recovery over CWM.

shall i also flash the stock kernel boot.img from firmware.zip ?
That's how you put a smile on a face. All thanx to u Jokah. Stock stuff up and running, ill be taking a few days to get rooting and flashing again to overcome the folder issue, what's in my is that I shall install the aokp 4.1 and then upgrade to aokp 4.2 which i've read automatically solves the folder issue. Shall put up everything here in case anyone else needs any help.
Once again .. thanx mate.

[Q] Really troubled about a lot of stuff [Desire X]

I'm having a bit of a trouble with my Desire X and this because for the past month I have been flashing/messing/bricking it.
First of all, I want to return to completely stock. Rom,kernel, boot, recovery etc.And that because I want to update to Jelly Bean and then install a Jellybean ROM
Secondly, after flashing http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2113587 I was stuck on bootloop for reasons I don't really know (If you are so kind to explain).
Thirdly can I update to Jelly Bean directly from my Custom Rom? Rather than having to go stock and then update.
I can provide any piece of info about ROM/Kernel etc as long as you need them.
Some are here:
Android Version 4.0.4
ROM ShadowDX v2.0
Kernel 3.0.21-g279c1c [email protected] #2 SMP PREEMPT
Current Recovery TWRP v2.6.3.0 (I have also installed neXusPrime for a try,v1.1 I believe)
CID HTC_304
Unlocked Bootloader (HBOOT 1.24.000, what is this)
I don't have a nandroid backup because I didn't know about it when I started messing with my phone (sorry)
Before I forget can someone teach me how to install boot.img, recovery.img and ROMs THE RIGHT WAY
P.S. I'm 16 y/o and kind of a noob but have read alot about everything for my phone.
P.S.2 Anything for 720p playback? (Optional, have read it doesn't support right now,? some say need kernel?)
P.S.3 Not sure about category of thread

First I need to know your cid, secondly you are using a recovery that is not for your hboot so thats why that gets a bootloop.
You need to go back to full stock to update to JB and hboot 1.25 there is no other way
HD playback is and will not possible because our phone doesn't support it
Give me your cid and I or someone else will help you further

@ OP
i think you can use RUU, if not, there was a NANDROID Collection thread with backups of people having different CID.
Note the steps carefully.
Install a TWRP or CWM recovery (ICS version because 1.24.000 is ICS hboot)
Then download a nandroid backup made with TWRP or CWM as u chose, from the collection thread.
Put the nandroid backup in appropriate folder.
Boot to recovery and restore.
Now use a tool, of fastboot, to flash stock recovery and stock boot. (you can find that in a thread made by ckpv5). Remember you are on the oldest hboot table, so you need two or three updates to go to JB.
When you have flashed above recovery and boot, restart the phone normally. Set it up. You will receive OTA update notification for JB. Let it happen smoothly.
In the end, when you have JB update completed. Then come back here and see a thread to install a custom JB ROM.

Europe HTC ONE M9 need urgent help

Solved
Nikolay82 said:
Hello. I am fairly new to the XDA forums and I would like to say hello to everyone.
I am looking for someone to help me with the following problem.
I flashed CID to take in any RUU. I've tried many even the USA T-mobile. It worked but had problems using mobile data. Now I use stock european one where version is:1.32.401.17
RUU_HIMA_UHL_L50_SENSE70_HTC_Europe_1.32.401.17_Radio_01.01_U11440261_56.02.50306G_2_F_release_429340_signed_.exe
. I got this version through official RUU. Device is currently S-OFF rooted and has twrp on it.
But now problems are here. I am aware european models got the 5.1 OTA update and I do have it downloaded.
File Says:
OTA_HIMA_UHL_L51_SENSE70_MR_HTC_Europe_2.10.401.1-1.40.401.8_release_444119.zip
Now when I try to update OTA through twrp it doesnt let me. Says something about Err_message. That being said, sideload wont work either. Now my question is, how do I get the OTA to my device? Note; when checking for updates via settings in the phone it says no updates available, regardless of updated airing for a while now. Now i wonder if can update from :1.32.401.17 to 2.10.401.1 with OTA or do I need to update first to 1.40.401.8 (I have 1.40.401.8 flash file).
Please if someone can help me I would thankful. Thanks.

OTAs can only be used with the stock recovery. I don't recommend doing a stock OTA if you have modded parts of the system. Better to flash a rom through TWRP. You might need to update the firmware as well.
Are you referring to 0PJAMIG*.zip file? in that case i have them plenty and one I need that matches my phone is like missing some files in the zip. Sadly, I can't post the link yet.
Let me explain this better please:
1. I do have RUUs,; RUU_HIMA_UHL_L50_SENSE70_HTC_Europe_1.32.401.17_Radio_01.01_U11440261_56.02.50306G_2_F_release_429340_signed_2_4
2. I do have 0PJAIMG Files as well: 0PJAIMG_HIMA_UHL_L50_SENSE70_HTC_Europe_1.32.401.8_Radio_01.01_U11440261_56.02.50306G_2_F_release_425571_signed_Hboot.zip
3. And I believe I have proper firmware and recoveries for said 0PJAIMG. I have every one of them downloaded for gradual update.
Problem is; I don't have the automatic RUU for version 1.32.401.8, the exe stuff. And I am having hard time installing the 0PJAIMG file on the phone because it gives errors and missing files inside from the looks.
File size of 0PJAIMG is 2gb but content withing the zip is barely 40mb but it says 2gb...
If I am able to get everything related with 1.32.401.8 I could most likely do the all process till latest update.
I am aware I can't post links but for this sake I would like to post it like this: tinyurl[dot]com/m9roms
Just replace "[dot]" with "."
moderator can remove the link however but I need urgent help. If someone can guide me what to I would appreciate it.

HTC Desire 626s - Stock Firmware/Rom?

Hey guys! Unfortunately I bricked my new HTC Desire 626s while fiddling around with xposed for lollipop after successfully rooting the phone and installing cyanogen recovery. I think if I flash the stock rom on the phone through either adb or cyanogen recovery I can unbrick it, but I have been unsuccessful in finding this file on the internet. Would anyone care to give me a link or upload the stock firmware/rom of this phone? It would really help me out, thank you!
You have to make sure the firmware is the same version or newer than the one currently on the phone as well as which carrier or region the phone is from. Without that, can't provide the correct file to download.

Umm.. Okay so I guess I'll give you my phone's info? WAIT DOES THIS MEAN YOU CAN PROVIDE A DOWNLOAD!? IM SO EXCITED, UH OK HERE
- HTC Desire 626s

- Current firmware version : 1.06.1550.7
ANYTHING ELSE?? IF YOU CAN GIVE ME THAT DOWNLOAD LINK, MY MOM WONT KILL ME:crying::crying::crying: (she's really pissed :laugh Thank you btw!
Was just thinking about this...if you soft bricked after attempting to install Xposed, and nothing else, you should be able to get out of it by flashing the xposed uninstaller zip. If that does not work, stay tuned to this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/desire-626/help/htc-desire-626s-root-recovery-t3169169 as there are some others at the end of the thread in a similar predicament. It does not appear that there is an official RUU yet for the Metro version, only the T-Mobile version, and they are not compatible. Just try the uninstaller zip first because that would be the easiest thing to try and should only take a couple of minutes.

I tried this before my phone got ****ed and it worked:good:! If you can help me dude that'd be great. After uninstalling or changing some stuff in priv-app on my HTC Desire 626s, when I rebooted, it would just stay in a boot loop with the optimizing app message. Any ideas?
What did you uninstall? I would ask for those apps in that thread and use a flashable zip and install via TWRP. You might also try clearing caches and/or resetting the phone again. It DOES take a long time to optimize the apps after wiping stuff as well, so sometimes it is a matter of being patient.
This is why I ALWAYS recommend to freeze apps vs uninstalling. Uninstalling them does not get you any usable space back, so there is no benefit, but it can cause issues if you do need the apps, as you can see...

I believe I uninstalled the dialer and its service in an attempt to replace them with the stock lollipop ones. How do you install TWRP on this phone? My mom has the same phone and its also rooted but hers actually works so I was thinking since TWRP has a nandroid backup setting, I could simply do a nandroid backup on hers and flash it on to mine to see if it will boot up. What do you think? And for the optimizing apps thing, it would finish optimizing, say starting apps, reboot and then optimize again and repeat. Thanks for the help btw, I really hope we can fix this.
You have to unlock the bootloader @ htcdev.com and use fastboot to install TWRP. And yes, that would work, as long as they are on the same software update. Know that when you unlock the bootloader, it will automatically wipe the phone, so make sure she has everything backed up to Google, the PC, etc.

Do you have the TWRP recovery file for me to download?
I'm afraid I'm a bit confused... How did you install Xposed and the Uninstaller without a custom recovery? Upon further searching, there doesn't appear to be a version of TWRP for your phone that I could find. Just figured you already had one. You must be on Kit Kat and not Lollipop?

I installed Cyanogen recovery before flashing Xposed and the uninstaller. I thought you had the TWRP recovery img for my phone which is why I asked. I believe some developers are working on a Clockworkmod recovery for this phone which is basically the same thing as TWRP recovery, right? Anyways I guess I just have to wait until that comes out, but I was wondering if anyone who somehow got a hold of the stock rom could upload it for us to use. It would be really helpful
ClockWorkMod is the recovery that Cyanogen uses. That is able to perform nandroid backups as well.
You have to unlock the bootloader, then if you messed up your stock rom and you've updated it to something newer than what Samsung gives for a stock recoverable rom, you must first use the tmobile vers, let it fail, and then use metropcs vers.
If you messed up recovery or anything it will all go back to stock after flash.
Next just copy superuser zip file to phone, go to download mode and adb flash cyanogen recovery img. Then reboot to recovery, choose to flash update, and find the superuser. zip and flash it, voila.

Kitkat, anyone?
Does anybody have a stock KitKat ROM for this device? I'd like to try to bypass the FRP, but am stuck on what must be either a marshmallow or lollipop ROM.
What carrier do you have?
I can send you a backup of the FRP.img for Marshmallow or for lollipop.
You can dd if= flash it to your device and you should be all good.
I am looking for any older roms for these devices too.
Seems like not too many people save the RUU and then HTC only releases the newest.
I got lollipop and marshmallow that's it.
But like i said we can fix the frp partition.
Issue is fixed

I ended up fixing it using some ADB commands as noted in the "Well, I may have found..." thread. It'll be nice to have this phone out of my life. The day I had to spend with it was two days too many.
