I'm using Oxygen 2.0, with latest 35 kernel..now I know our phones aren't mega large ram phones but I am curious how can I find out which apps are using the 100-120mb of ram currently shown in the picture I've included...Does anyone know of a way I can monitor and decrease the amount of ram being used, usually with a2sd scripts I can get some descent fast performance with this phone...any app suggestions?

RAM: What it is, how it's used, and why you shouldn't care
If you really, compulsively, need to reduce your RAM usage, you can try some apps that modify minfree values or try one of those supercharger tweaks.

How much ram does CM10 use on I9300?

Hi,
I am planning on flashing the CM10 Preview ROM soon on my gs3. I am just curious how much RAM does it use?
Hi,
The amount of RAM required... + your apps, so a certain amount...
Another topic about the RAM used, free, etc...
In the last pages: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1779578
CM10 uses X amount of ram.
Solve for X.

So many useless Threads here on XDA ,.... -.-
Actually cm10 takes all it can get since afaik the memory leak has still not been completely solved.

A question, I'm new to the ha galaxy s3 and I was wondering if these values are normal?
Thanks in advance!

Your cell standby is high but that is known bug, use this fix for that
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1732722
[FIX][ROOT] compiled "power_profile.xml" file to fix cell stand by issue
Apart from that everything seems reasonably normal, just needs minor tweaking/checking/etc to background processes to improve it a bit, just a case of reading up on the battery drainer apps and a check with better battery stats to clear it up. Basically not to bad but could be improved, a bit like tuning a motor

RAM usage

Does anybody else have am obscene about of RAM usage?
I have a very minimal about of apps (maybe like 5 downloaded) where is my ram going?

Well the s3 and s4 were like that with TouchWiz, so why would it change if there isn't a upgrade in RAM? Bloatware and apps running whether in the background adds up

On my note 3
As for ram unused ram is waisted ram.

mine is the same.... its insane

Is This Amount of RAM Consumption is Normal ?

I'm using 2 GB Variant of mido and I'm suffering from poor multitasking due to unavailability of less amount of RAM and when I check my memory usage it usually shows 1.7 GB Average Used but I have hibernated mostly all the user apps except WhatsApp. Is this amount of RAM usage normal eventhough in my previous phone Redmi Note 4G I always have 1.2 GB free on RR Rom and currently I'm using AOSP Extended Rom
